This book is so cute! I love the bright photographs that are great for representing the text on the page. I also find the story cute, and relatable to kids when thinking about what they will be doing for the holiday--like "sticking" around with a picture of puppies with a stick haha.
Overall I would buy this book for my young kid to read before the holiday. It would also be a great book for dog lovers!

This book is full of Thanksgiving puppy puns and cute pictures! A couple of the photos seemed to have Thanksgiving things photoshopped in, which is why I did not give it 5 stars. Overall, I enjoyed reading this to my daughter!

This is a cute Thanksgiving book that would be especially great for daycare teachers. Having previously worked in the field, there really aren't many good Thanksgiving books. It also would be a good book for any child, and the vocabulary used makes it an easy reader.

This little book of cute puppy pictures in Thanksgiving scenes was so cute. I would buy this for a small child or as a novelty item for a dog lover.

Every year I enjoyed watching the dog show on Thanksgiving, and this adorable book combines puppies with Thanksgiving decor, which is fun. There is more reference to turkeys, leaves, and being cozy than the food that is served or the history of Thanksgiving, which is fine. The cozy vibes of this book make it a perfect board book for babies and toddlers.

Ahhhh, puppies. Absolutely adorable, a word I use entirely too often to describe children's books but, well, PUPPIES!

What you have here are adorable puppy photos paired with some sort of fall or Thanksgiving saying, many of which involved cute doggie related puns. As someone whose favorite season is fall, the use of such lovely autumn photos for many was a bonus. Lots of different breeds, all adorable (hey, if I'm going to overuse a term, might as well enjoy it) and looking like they could spring off the page for cuddles. The author did an excellent job matching photos and sayings, too, and you'll enjoy the expressions on the varous puppy faces. True, there's no real story here but, hey, who needs a story when you're bombarded with such adorable puppy faces?

On the serious side, it'd be fun to see what photos children might come up with to match similar fall related comments. Or drawings to match these various sayings or sayings they themselves come up with. A great way to intro children to puns, too. My hunch is adults will enjoy these puppy faces as much as I did, too, so it's a win-win for both child and parent. Thanks #NetGalley and #TeacherCreatedMaterials for allowing me this early peek at this, you know what adjective is coming, adorable photo book. It'd make a lovely gift or addition to any dog lover's shelf.

A cute board book, but I found it the visuals to be a bit disjointed with both cartoon images of dogs and photographs.

My kids were enamored with the cute puppy on the front cover, which swayed me to read this one for them! The inside of the book did not disappoint as it was filled with even more cute puppy pictures that delighted my kids. This book is great for babies and new readers. It’s simple and has large photos of adorable puppies that I’m sure kids will fawn over. The colors are vibrant and convey the Thanksgiving theme throughout.

A wonderfully delightful board book with delectable puppy photos and clever brief text, sure to please and inspire young children and the adults who care for their wellbeing!
