I very much enjoy this series(Witch Way Librarian Mysteries) and look forward to every new book. While this one was, as always, well written, I found it to be an unsettling book. Perhaps that was the impact that the author was going for, but the others seemed to have some moments of lightness to balance Josie’s perilous situations. This one was almost all peril. I look forward to the next installment of Josie and her friends in the small town of Wilfred, Oregon. NetGalley provided me with an ARC, but the opinion is my own.

“what I’m about to write still burns as deeply as it did when it happened so many years ago”

I LOVE that her power was justice & book driven.

This was such a cozy cute book. This would be the perfect fall/samhain read.

Thank you Kensington Publishers for this eARC.

We’re back with Josie and the crew. This book follows the murder of a local bad guy and Josie is on it. If you’ve been in the series you know about her and Sam and this is also a plot point.

Pros:
⭐️Fast moving
⭐️Suspensful
⭐️Witchy

Cons:
⭐️ One weak element to the plot ( don’t want to spoil it). This side quest element wasn’t needed.

I do recommend this book.

Witch and Tell is book 7 in the Witch Way Librarian Mystery series. I thoroughly enjoy Josie, a librarian who also happens to be a witch. Her magic comes through the library books who encourage, comfort, and help her in times of trouble. In this book, her boyfriend, Sam, the sheriff, has distanced himself from her after she confessed to being a witch. She tries to help her best friend locate her boyfriend, Ian, who seems to have disappeared without a trace. When a body is found and assumed to be Ian, Josie is arrested for his murder. Adding to the intrigue and frustrations, Josie is losing her magical powers and is hard-pressed to understand why. There are a lot of twists and turns in this book, making it hard to guess how the issues will be resolved. I recommend reading the entire series to get to know the characters and understand all the idiosyncrasies of each person. I enjoyed this book and I hope there will be more to come!

I really adore this series, and not one of the least of the reasons is that I love that Josie works and lives in a bookstore. In this latest, Josie is feeling all kinds of lost since Sam won’t talk to her since her confession. When a townsperson disappears, and it’s the boyfriend of her friend, she focuses on that. Then she was arrested for his murder. I loved this latest, even if I was a little disappointed with how Josie dealt with a certain situation; she really should have known better. Other than that, I loved this book and can’t wait for the next. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and Kensington for my honest opinion. The seventh book in the Witch Way Librarian Mystery does not disappoint. Set in Western Oregon, it is filled with magical suspense that takes us on a journey through the small town of Wilfred. Join Josie Way and her friends as she attempts to find the answers to Lalena's missing boyfriend, Sam's distance and solve a murder all while attempting to fix a magical mistake. Great read, finished it in one sitting.

This is a good addition to the series and I enjoyed reading the book.
Josie fears she's hurt her relationship with Sam after admitting that she's a witch with powers.
Josie doesn't have a lot of time to dwell on it though, as something or someone is wreaking havoc with her powers.
I enjoy how her grandmother left her letters and advice to grow her powers and to understand the gift she has.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of this book.

It was fun getting to read the resolution to some of the things that happened in previous books (waning magic, mysterious crows!). While the ending was a bit anticlimatic, I enjoyed watching Josie come into her powers a bit more, and as always I loved the supporting characters. Can't wait to read more!

This is the second book from this author I have read. I personally find her writing style, plot and character development to be excellent. Her characters are well formed. The plot flows smoothly and I feel as though I am an observer to the characters in real time. Definitely would recommend this author and what I hope will be many more offerings from her. Really well done!

Josie is a librarian where the books talk to her. Somehow though, things are going wrong and there is a negative feeling in the air. A good series, and generally enjoy this author and series. This was ok, but not my favorite. Still though, would recommend, especially if you have read others in the series.
