I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and finished it within a day of starting. The way the story goes back and forth between present day and the past keeps you engaged while developing the characters at the right speed. I wasn't completely shocked at the ending but thought it tied up nicely. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes historical fiction and mystery.

This was a mystery with a heart-wrenching backstory. This is one of my absolute favorite books I have read about WW 2. This book provides a different perspective along with mystery.

A fun and entertaining read with lots of twists and turns. Good use of scenery. A story that has you guessing from the beginning to the ending. Interesting characters, good story development. A nice light read.
