After seeing one book in this series which completely inappropriately seemed to match baby chicks with Hallowe'en - and did so through quite horrendous photoshopping - we have a better-looking entrant, where kittens and cats celebrate Christmas. (Dogs and Thanksgiving passed me by). Here there are still examples of clunky visual trickery - that bauble seems in a different world to that cat's paw, and a good thing too knowing how they break apart so easily - but some of the images do actually look like the real thing. The snippets of text include sort of knowing quips about cat nature - their preference for empty boxes as opposed to anything nice for them that may have been inside them - and so we see the animals and the holiday season in conjunction a lot better than before. It's still very lightweight and unnecessary, mind, but ranks as a vast improvement.

Meowy Christmas to All! is a delightful book filled with amazing and notable photographs. The overall quality and effect of the book would be greatly enhanced had the photographs been taken and provided by the book's own personal photographer. Perhaps rather than crediting one particular source of photography, the author can request permission from each photographer and credit him or her for creative rights. Young readers will love celebrating the Christmas season with this charming book.

This book is very cute and seasonal for the holidays. I can see gifting it to a niece or nephew as a Christmas gift.

My kids love the cat pictures. Although they were too young to appreciate the puns and cat-related jokes, like loving boxes, I found them funny since I'm a cat person through and through (my kids are only 3 years and 1 year old).

I definitely recommend this as a gift or a fun Christmas book to read to your kids!

This is so, so, so cute. It combines two of the best things ever: kittens and Christmas! And while it's recommended for younger readers, it would also be a fantastic gift for a cat lover.

So cute! This is a really good holiday book for "younger" young readers, as I think that it will be enjoyable and it will help kickstart their learning of literature. I mention the educational value of this book because the author wove in numerous puns that young readers can notice, learn from, and find humor in. Additionally, sentences are short and easy-to-understand, which makes this book more accessible to readers, in a way. Lastly, I loved seeing the various Christmas cat pictures was a joy, and I have no doubt that little ones will absolutely adore each and every one. Bravo!
