Sorry I could not get into this novel. I won’t rate it, because that would not be fair to the author, who I know is quite famous and successful . It’s just not my cup of tea. I thought it would be. I never request books I think I won’t like. The quality of the w editing was terrific of course, But I could t connect with the characters, and I just didn’t care what was happening. The focus on the incestuous relationship was also just off putting and in the long run the whole thing was a bore… but I realize I’m probably in the minority and this novel Was published some time ago so must have been quite successful and now I’m just trying g to get my 100 characters in. I am sorry. I really did believe that I would enjoy it.
