Autumn Falls was a cozy read, perfect for autumn vibes. I liked the small-town setting and the idea of family bonds and first love. The story was emotional at times, but I wished there was more backstory and depth to the characters, especially the brothers. The pacing also felt a bit uneven, but overall it was a nice, light read for fall.

Despite the beautiful cover and lovely map, I could not get into this story.
I think my main issue was with the flashbacks. I don’t think there were enough signs that we were in a flashback, other than Jack was alive or our MMC and FMC were speaking and friendly. Otherwise, I found myself getting lost.
The writing was also a little jumpy and could have been smoother.
It was a quick read for those that are looking for a more mellow novel they can read in an afternoon or two.

This book was a whirlwind for me, went fast, which I understood why. I’d have liked to see a few trigger warnings for like Bella’s past with Jack for example. But apart from that I enjoyed it, the settings were well written, the romance added in was nice too. Character development too worked well and was paced well.
Thank you for allowing me to read this ARC.

This was a nice enough story and I did enjoy it, but I felt it could have been a lot better. It needed more backstory, more detail at times when it was just skipped over, the pacing needed some work too. I liked the characters and the emotion, but think it could have been even better.

This book has no business being this good!! I read 50% in one go and the other 50% sad that it was coming to an end. If you love messy characters with a toxic lifestyle, but make it adults, then this is perfect!
The main characters were likeable and their arcs were satisfying. I warmed to Bella quicker than Logan but I loved them both the same. The brothers ans family vibes seem more realistic, where not everyone is happy and there are bridges to build.
I felt the pacing was a little off, either too fast in the first 25% because I really wanted to see more heartbreak from the carter's, and then too slow in the end because I really wanted them to be together!!! But I still really enjoyed it and 5 stars for vibes. I shall be continuing with the series because that epilogue was chefs kiss.

Autumn Falls is the first book in a new series. This was such a beautiful and brilliantly written novel. I couldn't put it down and I read it in one sitting. I loved the small town place setting and there was a great cast of characters. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading more by the author.

One Direction meets a small town cosy romance in 'Autumn Falls'. There were a lot of parallels to the boy band, especially concerning paparazzi and their lack of privacy. It's so funny how you can almost tell which member in Silver Sky is inspired by which 1D member.
The names in this book were so funny. Silver Sky is a strange band name in itself but more importantly I love how it's insinuated that they named the band after the family ranch but it could technically go either way so I'm choosing to believe they named the ranch after the band. Imagine living on the One Direction farm. Autumn Falls is also a silly name if you think about it - it's basically just "Autumn Autumns". And I'm so sorry but I genuinely could not get over Bella's step dad being called John-Luke. I cracked up every time he appeared because that is truly an insane name.
I feel like we needed much more backstory. We only saw a couple snippets but we don't really know what Bella's relationship with the boys is like or the mere depth of it. I would suggest alternating chapters between the past and present day, which would've made the storyline a lot easier to follow. We didn't get to know the other brothers enough, or any of the characters for that matter. The story was very fast paced and didn't allow any time for us to actually grow any connections with the characters. Again, I think this could've been fixed by having more flashbacks.
On this note, we never actually understood Bella's experience. We heard that Jack wasn't great to her, but we never got any examples. Once again, flashbacks could've easily solved this, but it's weird that she never actually explained what Jack did. It was just "yeah, he was controlling" but we didn't actually get to see that or the effect it had on Bella.
Bella herself was very Y/N coded, This entire novel feels like something I'd find on 2014 Wattpad - it's literally just 1D x My Life With The Walter Boys, no joke. I ate it up regardless.
The boyband feature was barely mentioned, to my disappointment. By halfway I'd forgotten about Silver Sky. Yes, I realise they'd broken up, but with the lack of flashbacks, we had zero context about them. We don't even know a single one of their songs! Zero research into celebrity lives was conducted, evidently, because Logan definitely didn't have any PR training if he was out there jumping photographers.
While the writing style wasn't quite my cup of tea, the vibes were immaculate. This was a very light and fast read that I'd recommend to anyone who likes boybands and cozy small town romances. I give it 2.5 stars, rounded up to a 3.

The deeply emotional story of what happens after the bright lights of fame die down.
Five boys from a small town got their big break on a talent show. Their talent and bond catapulted them to fame, but when the band broke up, they all lost their footing. Carter turned to business, since he had managed them toward the end. Jack became a mega movie star. Noah went back home to the ranch. Brodie drifted away. Ethan tried a solo career, then eventually became a soldier.
A tragedy—Jack’s death—pulls almost all of them back together, but it only makes their brokenness more obvious. Jack had married Bella, Carter’s childhood best friend and the one who got away. Their love and breakup had been dragged all over the media, and Jack’s family blamed Bella for what happened, never knowing the truth was much darker.
Autumn Fall focuses on Carter. He buried himself in business, tethered to his computer and phone. He missed so much and pushed even more away. Now faced with Bella again, he’s angry at her. But conversations with his brother start to crack what he thought he knew. Finally ready to listen, Carter is shaken to the core by the truth of what really happened. Over many months, he begins to realize that what he was missing had been right in front of him all along.
Bella, meanwhile, had felt abandoned, rejected, and lonely. She fell for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, which soon swallowed her whole. When she finally made her escape, she vowed never to return to the spotlight. Seeing Carter again reopens old wounds, but for the first time, talking things out makes her feel free. Still, knowing how to move forward and find her own path is another story entirely.
As the first book in the series, there’s a bit more setup. The story is deeply emotional, spanning months of reflection, growth, and pain. A well-thought-out story arc makes the ending feel like a warm hum. Though I would have liked the ending to be a bit longer—to glimpse more of their life together—I still loved the story. I read it in one swoop and couldn’t put it down.
