Suzie and Charlie were a perfect pairing for me, and I really enjoyed this book! This is a chaotic, hilarious summer read full of fun characters and awkward situations (in the best way).
Thank you to the author and Storm Publishing for my advance copy!

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC. Suzie and Charlie are kindred spirits. Foreign language teachers, needing fresh starts, and getting out of bad relationships. Cue the instant connection when both reinventing themselves in more ways than one.
This book was cute, I’d say a solid 3.75 stars. It was a little long in parts, I’d agree with another reviewer it could have been about 50 pages shorter.

Kristen Bailey never fails to make me laugh. I love her Christmas novels and was so excited to see a summer one! Laugh out loud funny and just a good time!

Sizzling and spicy read. Lots of laughs and kept me turning the pages! Susie and Carlos are so hilarious.

Definitely a fun read for in-between but don't expect anything to deep. I did like both of the main characters, the humour of the book and the general idea of the plot, fate doing its' thing and all but the execution of it all fell a bit flat for me. The writing is okay but the constant slips into second person when it was about the main characters thoughts and feelings were so jarring sometimes, i did not quite understand the choice.
The ending was technically an interesting idea but again the execution was a bit rushed but not super well done sadly. The choice made by the MMC was a mature one but the communication between the two was so poor, which was the point, I get it, but miscommunication is such an overdone trope at this point that it needs to be done really really well to be satisfying in any way.
What matters most to me in a romance book is the chemistry between the couple and that was definitely there, so overall it was still an enjoyable read, so if anyone's interested in the plot, I'd sure tell them to give it a try.

Too much sex, which spoiled it for me. I nearly gave up on this one as I felt it just wasn't my sort of book. But, I ploughed on and finished it. My thanks to netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.

A hilarious (if a little cringe in places) summertime read. The romance is hot, then frustrating, then hot again, but is overall worth the read. A great pick, especially if you have spent time in Europe!

This started out so cute and funny and then fizzled out. There wasn’t enough story to carry it and Bailey tried too hard to keep it going, ending up with increasingly immature and implausible situations. There was no chemistry between the characters once they made it back to the real world. At about the halfway point, it became a struggle to get through this and I pushed through only because I was already so invested. There was no chemistry between the characters once they made it back to the real world.

This book immediately hooked me within the first chapter. Right away I was thinking how hilarious this book was going to be, and it did not disappoint. I loved the dual 1st person POV of our FMC and MMC, along with hearing about their two funny and lovable families. This is a great read for someone interested in a romantic comedy, where a one night stand doesn’t exactly stay a one night stand. Amazing banter, witty main AND side characters, and a sweet and fun ending.
Overall I rated this one as a 3.5 to 4 star read.

Thank you Storm Publishing for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

In this funny, spicy, and steamy holiday rom-com novel, readers follow single and heartbroken French teacher Suzie Callaghan on a much-needed holiday in Mallorca with her cousins, and she has no plans to fall in love with the handsome Spaniard who rescues her from a midnight skinny dip. However, this steamy holiday fling is built on white lies and mistaken identities, and it turns out “Carlos” is actually Charlie Carter, the new Spanish teacher at Suzie’s school. Stuck in department meetings and on field trips where they have to pretend they are only colleagues, Charlie and Suzie have to navigate their mixed emotions and intense chemistry in this entertaining and heartwarming novel. The characters are really well-written, and readers really get a chance to see their perspectives and both sides of their relationship in some really interesting ways. Their chemistry is absolutely fantastic, and readers will love seeing their character arcs change and develop over the course of the novel. The moments of hilarity balance out the more emotional moments, and the tropes and added elements really allow their relationship to develop. Fun, steamy, and enjoyable, romance readers looking for some great tropes and fun characters will love this latest book from Kristen Bailey.

The perfect summer read - chaotic, hilarious, spicy, I loved it! I don't laugh out loud with books a lot but for this one I couldn't stop!

Another brilliant book by Kristen Bailey. It was funny and cute and sexy from beginning to end. It was perfect and I always love when the main characters are teachers too so that was a bonus!

This book was amazing! Really funny, witty and great one liners. Kristen is a breath of fresh air! Her books are brilliant and this one is one of my favourites!

This was the perfect summer read!! A flirty, chaotic rom-com about Suzie, a French teacher recovering from a breakup, who has a whirlwind holiday fling in Mallorca, only to discover her mystery man is the new Spanish teacher at her school.
The main characters’ banter was so funny and just the right amount of flirty. The whole vibe is giving vacation romance meets workplace chaos, with gorgeous settings and a surprising bit of emotional depth that hits you in between the laughs and spice. I loved that their relationship was very realistic, which I wasn’t expecting for a rom-com.
For me it wasn’t a perfect 5⭐️, but it was a super fun, feel-good read. Perfect if you’re in the mood for drama, laughs, and a little heat.

A fabulous way to spend some summertime
Suzie Cavanaghs life imploded when an uber driver lets slip that her partner is cheating on her. Heartbroken she leaves to stay with her cousins and lick her wounds and is talked into a girls trip to Mallorca.
Charlie's life is imploding, due to a technical issue by his former partner he has to move his life and start afresh, and he has to attend his brothers stag do, in Mallorca with some of his brothers more dubious friends.
One night in Mallorca the girls go for a skinny dip but Suzie finds herself split from the group and is starting to get into difficulties she is rescued by a Spanish Yoga teacher called Carlos.
The same night Charlie is walking the beach wanting a break from the stag do when he rescues a beautiful French girl from the water called Aurelie, Charlie is hooked but when a missed communication means they lose contact Charlie just racks it up to experience.
After the summer Suzie is starting a new job as a french teacher at a secondary school, she is quite surprised to meet the new Spanish teacher, his name is Charlie but she knew him as Carlos.
They decide to act professional but whilst on a school trip to Seville the sparks begin to fly but can a relationship really work when the two people were pretending to be other people when they started out.
This was a fabulous book, I read it in a couple of days when I was on holiday, the characters are engaging and yes you know where the story is going but its not about the ending its about the journey.
A great summer read.

First of all I would like to thank NetGalley and the publishers for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is another fantastic book by Kristen Bailey and had me laughing throughout. The story and characters were both fantastic and was a really enjoyable read. It’s a perfect beach read and is one I will be recommending to family and friends to read when they have the chance.
There is some spice in this story but is probably the same level found in her other books.
Can’t wait to read what’s coming next as Kristen is one of my favourite rom com authors at the moment!

A summery, sweet and fun story of two teachers whose one night stand turns into something far more complicated. Suzie, newly single and nursing a broken heart, heads to Mallorca for a holiday expecting nothing more than sun, sangria and time with her cousins. Instead, she meets “Carlos,” a handsome Spaniard who sweeps her off her feet during a late-night skinny dip. The chemistry is instant and undeniable.
Back in London, Suzie’s shock is complete when “Carlos” turns up at her school as the new Spanish teacher. Only his name is actually Charlie, and both are left to navigate the awkwardness of knowing far more about each other than most new colleagues do. The banter is great, the anticipation is well built and the romantic tension simmers beautifully, especially when they are thrown together again on a school trip to Seville.
A perfect light-hearted beach read with just the right mix of humour, heat and heart.

Hot to Go is a funny, steamy, and fun rom com! The perfect summer read! If you’re after something light with memorable banter, just the right amount of spice, and a romantic heart, this one’s a solid pick.

DNF'd past halfway through.
I just couldn't really get into the book unfortunately...
I found it pretty annoying how they met and that the sex was IMMEDIATELY involved. I found this a bit weird for me,

Suzie Callaghan, a heartbroken French teacher, heads to Mallorca for a holiday with her cousins, and unexpectedly falls for a charming Spaniard named "Carlos" after a steamy encounter. Their holiday romance, built on white lies and missed moments, takes a twist when "Carlos" turns out to be Charlie Shaw, the new Spanish teacher at her school. Forced to work together while pretending nothing happened, tensions rise as unresolved feelings linger. When they’re stuck together as chaperones on a school trip to Seville, their undeniable chemistry reignites, challenging them to see if their holiday fling could be something more.
This cute and quick read delivered more than just a fun vacation romance—the twist of mistaken identity and unexpected reunion back home added depth and surprise. The characters were all genuinely likeable, and weren’t just there to serve the plot; they each had real backstories and personalities that made the story feel grounded, even as the romance between Suzie and Charlie ebbed and flowed. There were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, and the satisfying ending tied everything together perfectly.
