I absolutely loved this book—it had me laughing from start to finish! The humor, witty banter, and hilarious situations were brilliant. An entertaining read!
It’s the perfect summer beach read, offering a fun dose of armchair travel. Suzie and Charlie were fantastic main characters, and I really enjoyed watching their stories unfold and intertwine. The side characters, especially Suzie’s cousins and Charlie’s siblings, were just as wonderful, and the warm family dynamics made the story even more heartfelt.

unfortunately, this book just wasn't for me. i found it dull and boring, and that's probably why i wound up stuck in a month-long reading slump. i was looking forward to seeing what hot to go had to offer, but i wound up extremely disappointed.
this novel felt very much like a first draft; it was rambling and long-winded and didn't have any redeeming factors to make up for the lack of finesse. i tried really hard to power through, but i know when i've been beaten. i can't wait to to move on and crack open a book that will actually make me want to keep reading.

Suzie and Paul have just broken up. She’s packed her things and flees to London, to the safety of the cousins who’ve been like sisters to her.
“Let’s go to Mallorca to celebrate Lucy’s 40th birthday! A holiday always helps!”
And so off they go.
Charlie has just lot his job after his (ex-)girlfriend accidentally shows a compromising video of him to the staff at school.
Luckily, it’s time for his brother’s stag do, and time away with the boys always helps.
So it’s off to Mallorca they go.
After a naked swim ends with Suzie distanced from both her cousins and her clothing, a kind, attractive man come to her assistance, offering his shirt, then a towel, then a a warm cup of coffee.
Yup, Charlie, who says he’s Carlos, and Suzie who claims to be Aurelie. And the two engage in an unforgettable night.
What happens next stretches out over time and location, the story of two people who meet under false pretenses, share an instant attraction, implode, and then keep appearing in each other’s lives to a variety of results.

Like all of Bailey’s books, it’s easy to focus on the humor - again, here in spades - but there’s always so much depth underneath that layer that often doesn’t get the appreciation it should.
In HTG, there is an exploration of teacher’s experiences and the impact they have on their students, a lovely story of familial love, an exploration of found family, and a constantly evolving holiday setting weaving through seasons of a year.
I’m a huge fan of Bailey’s writing and I enjoyed this one! It has humor and laughs along with heartbreak and love. Her books are like a cozy blanket on a chilly day.
Plus, a callback to Zoe and Jack made me want to do a reread of Textbook Romance!
So happy to support @kristenbaileywrites with this tour!

Absolutely!

Another brilliantly, hilarious book from one of my favourite authors. This was such a great, laugh out loud story and I love how characters from previous books appear, but make it so that you can still read and enjoy and not be confused to who they all are if you haven't read the authors other books. The friendship/family relationships between all the sisters and cousins just makes you feel like you know them all. The banter and humour in Kristen's books is always a winner, she does it so well. This was another 5 star read and I already can't wait for the next book.

Suzie and Charlie are on separate holidays in Mallorca. But by fate they meet and begin a fling. This fling turns into a bit more real life than they thought it would back in London. The universe keeps pulling them together despite various challenges and circumstances.
This was a light read with lots of relatable British and teacher vibes. As a teacher myself, I felt like the author did a good job at describing the environment and the realities of the job. Then relating this to the twists in the story was excellent.
There is a bit of spice. But the spicy scenes felt a little strange, because they were mostly a character recounting an experience. It didn’t quite know what it wanted to be.
All in all it was a solid romantic comedy book with a twist at the end climax that I didn’t really see coming. It adds to the complications that the main characters have to work through. Made me want to go on Holiday!

I do love books by this author. It’s that perfect blend of humour and genuine human connections. Who says you can’t have both in a romance book?
A cheeky bit of spice also helps!

Suzie is a French teacher and heads to Mallorca with her cousins after a painful breakup. She does not expect to fall for a Spanish guy who rescues her. After she gets home and school resumes, she is surprised to find out that the Carlos from Mallorca is actually the new Spanish teacher Charlie. She finds it hard to trust him but when they go on a school trip as chaperones things change. This book is great with characters you love and experiences that make you laugh. I loved the students at the high school as well.

3.5 rounded up. I really liked this book! It's a cute book about teachers that meet under non-teacher circumstances. It's an escapist book for folks wanting adventure and travel and the perfect amount of spice.

This book is like every rom-com girls "dream book"... have we seen this plot line more than a few times? Yes, BUT it's because it WORKS! and this one definitely puts in overtime! I ate this up giggling & kicking my feet!!! I Loved it!!

This is definitely one to read this summer. The prologue and first chapter set the scene perfectly for a sticky British summer, you can almost smell it! You're then transported to Mallorca and the scene setting is just as well done, perfect holiday vibes. I was laughing out loud within the first couple of pages and this continued throughout, I had to keep giving my other half recaps of what was going on because I just couldn't stop giggling. The sisterly banter was hilarious, you can tell that Suzies cousins are fierce and would do anything for each other.
There were some open door spice scenes in here but nothing too graphic. Personally I'd give it a fairly mild spice rating, the spice was well written it just wasn't anything wild 😜 If you want an easy read with top tier summer/holiday vibes then Hot to Go is for you.

Reeling from the end of her marriage, Suzie moves to London to be near her family and start fresh with a new apartment and a teaching job. Charlie is another teacher who is forced to leave his current position due to an embarrassing incident, looking to survive the summer and begin his new job in the fall. Both teachers head to Mallorca for separate reasons but unexpectedly find each other incognito.
What a hoot! I laughed out loud at points and woke the dog! "Hot to Go" is a moderately spicy, fun, hilarious romantic comedy. Filled with miscommunication, missed connections, hijinks, and funny side characters, you will not regret reading this story!

I bloody love a Kristen Bailey. Too Hot to Go envelops some of my favourite past characters into a new story. It is both relatable and funny - and so good to come back to previous favourites. Bailey has the real skill of crafting characters who seem real, yet another novel I didn’t want to end.
Working in a school there were a few parts where I had to remove myself from the narrative slightly, but that’s just pickiness.

This is the first book I’ve read by Kristen Bailey. I loved the banter between the characters, and the healthy take on romance. The pretending to be someone else was also very fun and it made me laugh! This book is one for those of you who enjoy British humor, banter, and funny characters. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

This book was poignant and funny and everything a romantic comedy should be. The female characters were strong and sensible and the main male characters were empathetic, kind, and responsible. I found myself laughing out loud every other page because every character was written with humor and wit. I loved the cameos that were given to characters from previous books and I was very impressed by the depth of the supportive characters, I found myself just as invested in their stories as I was in the FMC/MMC.
The only reason why this wasn't a 5 star read for me is because I'm not a big fan of the miscommunication trope, and this book had one too many for me. The very last one felt out of place with the growth in their relationship BUT it also led to a laugh out loud chapter in France so it was kind of worth it. Overall, I loved the story and the characters and cannot wait for the next book from Kristen.

Kristen Bailey does it again with this spicy and very funny holiday romance that is the perfect summer read! I loved that Charlie and Suzie had instant chemistry even though they didn't really know each other but when they reappeared in each other's lives, it took some time to find their way into a relationship even though all the signs were pointing that way. I loved all of the cities they visited. It made me feel like I was there. I also enjoyed Suzie and Charlie's colleagues and students, Suzie's cousins who apparently have books of their own, and Charlie's relationship with his younger siblings. It was also nice to see Zoe from Textbook Romance again, one of my favorite books by Kristen Bailey. Thank you to Storm Publishing and Kristen Bailey for the opportunity to read this early.

I loved this book! I wasn't expecting to give it 5 stars, but I won't forget the story or characters and could see myself re-reading it someday, which I don't often do, so 5 stars it is! Loved the meet-cutes, loved the banter, LOVED one bed scenes (teacher trip, yes please!). I definitely purchased this one for the library. The *only* thing I don't care for is the title. A different title would have fit the story better in my opinion, but everything else was so so great. Thanks for the advanced copy!

I had to DNF this book. I’ve tried for a month now to read it and I cannot get past 10%. I’ve really tried but there is nothing that is grabbing my interest.
Thanks to Net Galley and the publisher for the ARC. I wish I could have finished the book.

This was just okay! It was a standard run of the mill romance but it didn’t grab me the way I had hoped!

I absolutely loved this book and i have to say that i did not stop laughing all of the way through, it was extremely funny, with some hilarious situations and full of some very witty banter too, that had me crying with laughter!!
I really love this authors books and honestly could not put this book down, it was such a pleasure to read and had me hooked right from the very beginning. Each chapter had me engrossed and each one very easily pushed me along to the next one and the next, until I had very quickly devoured it all!
This book is perfect for a Summer beach read and is exactly what is needed for a bit of armchair travel.
Suzie and Charlie were wonderful characters and i really enjoyed finding out how their stories unfolded and their lives entwined together. I also loved the side characters and Suzie’s cousins and Charlie’s siblings were amazing! I also loved the relationships that each of them had with their families, it was sooo heartwarming.
Hot To Go oozed sizzling Summer vibes and had the perfect sprinkling of spiciness and smut!!
All in all this was an hilarious, emotional, romantic Summer read from a very talented and funny author and was definitely a pleasure to read but please read this and beware: DO NOT read this book in a public place unless you want to embarrass yourself with how much you will laugh out loud!!!

Max always tells me there's a test to know if you really love someone or not,and that's when you wake up in the morning, and the sight of them and the smell of their morning breath doesn't completely scares you.
With dual POVs in first person, this story delivers plenty of sexual tension, funny and awkward moments (their first meeting is a gem!), and an adorable romance. Suzie and Charlie’s connection feels effortless, and their communication is both charming and real.
I love Charlie, he's caring, shy, adorable, funny — and his relationship with his siblings? So wholesome
It’s the kind of book that makes you smile without trying too hard.
Perfect pick for your vacation bag!
