It’s no secret that Rebecca Raisin has quickly become one of my auto-read authors. Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express is just the latest in a line of books full of warmth, love, and self acceptance. I loved seeing Aubrey and Jasper’s journey as two single people on a couples’ trip. They’re both walking their own paths, but I loved how it brought them together.

This book has such a delightful cast of characters!!! Not only was I rooting for Aubrey and Jasper, I was also rooting for their dear friends- especially Princess!- to find happiness. There’s so much platonic love in this story that it’s impossible to not feel a sense of joy while reading it. It was one of those books that I just felt content the whole time reading it, as if I was curled up by the fire while it snowed outside.

While the circumstances of Aubrey’s honeymoon trip are less than ideal, the trip itinerary itself sounds like an absolute dream! Every place the characters visit is painted clearly into my mind. This book makes me want to travel and feel all the fun feelings that Aubrey and Jasper feel on their adventures.

Thank you to Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Loved this book. Aubrey gets dumped right before her wedding by Miles. She decides to go on the The Winter Wonderland Express by herself . While on the train she starts to evaluate her relationship with Miles. In the meantime she meets a group of singles on the train , who eventually call themselves the Unlucky in love travel club. She kind of gives them the idea that Miles had died noit that she was jilted. She meets Jasper and well see how that goes. All the characters are amazing but pay special attention to Princess, she is a character. This is a VERY GOOD READ. I recommend it highly.y.

Wonderful book. Perfect for anytime of year but especially in the run up to Christmas. Rebecca Raisin is one of my favourite authors and this latest book didn’t disappoint.

What happens when you get jilted on your wedding day? Go on the honeymoon by yourself of course!

Aubrey decides to go on the Winter Wonderland Express honeymoon by herself, but doesn't want to be pitied so she makes up a story that her "husband" Miles died. She decides to come clean and the misunderstandings are hilarious! I found myself laughing out loud throughout the book. Aubrey's sister, Rox, adds her own bit of hilarity to the storyline.

On the train, friendships are made, new romances are formed, and a small group of singles come together and form the Unlucky In Love Travel Club. Jasper and Aubrey meet and it's soon apparent that they mesh in every way, but they're not the only ones to find a new romance.
I love the description of the places, the train, the sights, and the way the book made you feel like you were there. I binged this book in one setting and can totally see this being made into a movie!

Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

A cute, heartwarming read with a fun cast of characters. A little predictable at times but still a lovely read.

My thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book.

. Set aboard a luxury train bound for the Northern Lights, this novel is both a magical winter escape and a journey of healing for its heartbroken heroine. Aubury,, abandoned at the altar just days before Christmas, is left reeling when her fiancé Miles vanishes without explanation. Devastated but determined not to let the pre-paid “once-in-a-lifetime” honeymoon go to waste, she boards the Winter Wonderland Express alone—choosing to pose as a widow rather than admit she was jilted. What follows is a snow-dusted adventure filled with heart, laughter, and unexpected self-discovery.From glittering Christmas markets to ice hotels and enchanting Northern scenery, the setting sparkles with festive magic. Aubury’s transformation from heartbroken to hopeful is believable and touching, helped along by a quirky group of fellow travelers. Chief among them is Princess, a larger-than-life character who becomes an unexpected source of strength and encouragement.

While the novel touches on themes of grief, shame, and identity, it never becomes heavy. Instead, it strikes a lovely balance between emotional authenticity and feel-good escapism. The twist of dreams potentially coming true at the Christmas market adds a fairy-tale flourish that’s perfect for holiday reading.

Overall, it is a cozy, romantic, and uplifting winter read filled with hope, friendship, and a touch of magic.

i just need some authors to mainline me their words through my walls all day everyday. where i enter a room and their verse just waft across to me. because boy do my favourite authors bring me so much joy. and Rebecca Raisin is one of my ultimate. i could pick her any of her books and know i will love it. and she is at it again with this one. i sat down, i did not move, my hand went up(ruuuudely) to anyone who threatened my reading bauble. i was not to be disturbed and loved every second of my bubble.
firstly the cover was gorgeous and thats always an added bonus.
Aubrey is our gal for this book. and she has just had the worst time. because her fiance has jilted her.nice. but she decides she IS going to go on their fantabulous honeymoon. infact i think this is what bothers her more lol. and she will go alone, fine with her. its on the Winter Wonderland Express and sounds like the trip of a lifetime, and for Aubrey i think it might just be that.
there might be a slight snag as everyone thinks she is a widow, she might have let that one get away with her after feeling embarrassed at the views if she came on announcing she was jilted.
on board the train she quickly meet a group of other quirky travellers all there for their own reasons. and they form a nice gang together.
we then weave our way through the trip and destinations. and as a reader im jealous. invite me Aubrey! the locations we are taken to are put in our minds eyes perfectly. i could feel the feels and almost see them in my own imagination.
the characters we meet in this book all charm us as much as Aubrey does. she is of course another highlight of a character to follow.
the witty style of Rebecca is there as well as her usual depth and wise way of writing these stories. its all there as gorgeous as ever wrapped in a book.
of course we doooooo have the romance. and Jasper you are clearly here to show Aubrey what is what in the love stakes. but oh what wil happen when the truth as it always does comes out. this part had me anxious. because shes had such compassion and wise words and given in return and she has made such lovely friendships in the Unlucky in Love tribe.
well, read this book all of you to find out. and you will love every moment. another brilliant and lovely time had in this book. thankyou!

The writing was light, entertaining and together with some wonderful descriptions, painted the most magical Christmas scenes. It was a joy to read from start to finish. Everything about it felt festive and cosy.

The chapters were fairly long and sometimes split so you got a good chunk of the story before moving on. Each of the chapters had a date and place name so you always knew when and where you were reading. This was particularly helpful because you were travelling through a number of different countries.

There was a good pace to the book. I enjoyed being on the journey with all of the characters and watching how they all evolved. The chapter dates and titles helped to move the story on.

There was a good flow between the chapters and I could happily read it for long periods of time. I looked forward to picking the book back up at each reading session and fully immersing myself in the Christmas magic.

The characters were excellent. They were all vulnerable in some way and it was nice to see them realise what their vulnerability was and to work with it.

There was so much love and support between the characters that was lovely to read about and helped to make it a cosy, festive read.

Lastly the settings. They were amazing. They really made the story. The descriptions of the markets and other surroundings breathed life into the story and gave it a festive feel. There was a good balance between the description of the settings and what the characters were going through so you never felt bogged down by one or the other.

Overall a book that oozes Christmas magic. If you only read one book over the festive period, it needs to be this one. A must read this festive season!

Another hit from Rebecca with firm friendships, silly banter and a journey of self-discovery. Aubreys sister Rox is a peach, filling the typical role of the fiercely loyal and slightly unhinged younger sister. As always, Rebeccas supporting character steal the show. Its One of my favourite things about her books!

I usually love Rebecca Raisin’s books, and her latest novel, Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express, was a bit of a disappointment for me. The issue for me was the main character; I wish she were honest about being left at the altar. I believe it would have made things smoother…
Raisin still hits the marks: the book is charming, heart-warming, humorous, lighthearted, and has wonderful, warm characters that are quirky, entertaining, with intriguing storylines.
The settings are beautifully described; I felt transported to each location on route. Although I wished there were more details about the activities that make this trip so special.

Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I am nothing like the main character Aubrey. I don't like to travel. I am very happy living in the same house and area for almost all my lifetime. I want to be in a familiar setting near my family and friends. All that said, I enjoyed this book tremendously. I loved traveling through a book with Aubrey on the Winter Wonderland Express train. This is the only way I would ever experience this wonderful trip!

Aubrey is drawn to travel all over the world, learn by being immersed in a culture and does not feel the need for a home base. After being "stood up" when she arrived at the church to be married, she decided to go on the honeymoon alone since the money would not be refunded. That is the basis of the tale.

She meets the other singles onboard, and their adventures are truly a joy to read. I especially love stories with characters of the older population, and this book has that. It also has a lot of humor and also some very emotional parts. It is a perfectly well rounded, clean romance, with many side stories that make the book more than "just a romance".

The hero, Jasper, is a gem! I was so happy that he was on the train (as a single) and was drawn to Aubrey. The author did an excellent job creating the characters for the roles they played in the story.

A sincere thank you to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for giving me the pleasure of reading the advance reader copy, with no obligation to write a review. My review is written freely as a hobby, and is totally my own opinion, not influenced by receiving the ARC.

As soon as I saw the cover for this book and read the synopsis I knew I had to get a copy. Aubrey is ticking off my bucket list. I would love to go on the wonderland express. One of these days I will go on a sleeper train, I am so envious of the amazing journey,

After being jilted at the altar, Aubrey decides after booking the perfect honeymoon on the winter wonderland express, she is going to go alone. It is just days before christmas which really added to the athmosphere of the book. She is on a luxury snow train, winding through Europe’s most beautiful Christmas markets, stopping in places like Paris and Stockholm, before ending in Lapland, to stay in igloos under the Northern Lights. Thinking she is going to be lonely, she is delighted to meets other singles who are also making the journey and they all become friends.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for a copy of this travel packed book in exchange for and honest review. I am now saving up!

A fabulous Winter rom-com.

Aubrey has been jilted at the alter, and finds herself honeymooning alone on the Winter Wonderland Express. Her journey sees her meet a wonderful mix of characters, from Princess, an older lady who takes Aubrey under her wing, to American travel writer Jasper, and a mixture of other singletons and loved up couples.

I loved the descriptions of the stops the train makes, in different countries with different food and traditions, the book was very clearly well researched. Rebecca Raisin has managed to include so many entertaining characters in the story - so many that the reader roots for, and wish for happy endings. I really liked the comedic elements, Aubrey's sister Rox was brilliant!

An easy to read, feel-good story.

Aubrey's fiance leaves their wedding before she even gets to the church. She is not going to let her fabulous honeymoon go to waste! Aubrey boards the Winter Wonderland Express and the reader goes along on a journey of self-discovery, opening up to love again, all while reading about fabulous winter/Christmas destinations.
This is a great holiday read!

was really impressed with this book. It was a treat to read all about the wonderful places that the fmc and the rest of the crew of the Unlucky in Love travel Club on the Winter train traveling throughout Western and Northern Europe. Plus get the sweet slow burn new romance between English Aubrey and American Jasper.

The book is engaging and I really liked Aubreys insight on both her relationship with her fiancée that tilted hee at the alter and her relationship with all of the other singles on the train. She learned from the experiences traveling on the train what she wanted and what she wasn't read to settle for at nearly 40.

My only issue was that there wasnt much angst after being jilted at the alter. It was more of a lighthearted joke between her sister getting revenge and her telling her travel companions that her fiancée was dead. I just wanted to see a little more emotional turmoil.

I'd highly recommend the book if you like rom - com with a winter wonderland backdrop.

A perfect story to snuggle up by the fire with drinking a hot chocolate and listening to the crackling flames.
When Aubury is ditched at the alter by her fiancé Miles days before Christmas she is left absolutely devastated, Miles is no where to be found and isn’t answering any phone calls from anyone, but now what to do? They booked a ‘‘once in a lifetime’ honeymoon which is to the Northern Lights aboard a train known as the Winter Wonderland Express.
Aubury makes friends with fellow travellers on the pretence that she is a widow and not a jilted bride, Princess takes her under her wing and invites her on many excursions to take her mind off her ‘loss’ but nobody expects their dreams to come true while at the Christmas Market.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story and can’t wait for more

Brilliant story. I loved the main character Audrey who had just been jilted at the altar and decides to still go on the honeymoon on her own. A sweet festive Christmassy read!

Rebecca Raisin gives us another lovely holiday rom-com, this one taking place aboard the Winter Wonderland Express.

After being left at the alter, Aubrey takes her honeymoon train ride alone. While mostly a couples’ trip, Aubrey is paired with the small group of solo travelers. Over the 10-day trip, the group will connect in ways they never expected and Aubrey learns more about herself and what she wants in life.

I enjoyed this sweet book, and enjoyed seeing Aubrey develop and find her truth. I especially liked the group of supporting characters. Each one was great on their own and collectively they were such a fun bunch.

I was provided a digital ARC from Boldwood Books. All opinions are my own.

Aubrey's honeymoon doesn't get off to the best start, the main reason being her 'husband' is nowhere in sight. However, once the Winter Wonderland Express adventure begins, it is just that, a lovely, festive, fun filled adventure.

I really liked Sabrina, Princess and Jasper with a big dollop of Row.

Miles, his part was questionable, especially at the end but I thought it was a nice ending.

I really enjoyed this, it had all the ingredients for a great festive read
