This was a fun story about a travel agent who gets a great deal on a Christmas train. She is going on her honeymoon, but is left at the altar. She travels to many fun places and meets. Group of single travelers and it was a delightful read! I love found family stories, and there was many funny moments and characters

Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express. This is a feel good read with a variety of characters.. I would have a liked a bit more of the romantic stops along the way, but overall it was a pleasure. Predictable plot, but still with the feel good factor.

As always, a fun escapism read. Set during the lead up to Christmas, it's about second chance love, not only for the main character (who gets left at the altar) but also for several characters on this Christmas themed train vacation. Something I enjoyed is the setting of the story, as it takes place not only on a train but in various European cities & countries, ending up in Lapland on Christmas Eve. I always enjoy her stories for the fun, predictable read that they are.
I received an ARC copy from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This is a cozy tale set aboard a very festive filled train. The storyline is predictable, but this adds to the easy readability of the story. A heartwarming story filled with festive cheer.

Absolutely love this. The unlucky in love travel club made me laugh and Princess is amazing. Very heartwarming Christmas story that I loved.

Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express by Rebecca Raisin
What if you are traveller and you find a life partner who is not at all interested in travelling?
The story revolves around a female who is into travelling as her job is to provide iternery for holidays but with age she decides to settle down, ending up alone on the altar as her groom ran away from fear!! She has an amazing honeymoon planned on the Winter Wonderland Express and she decides to take it. Sounds like a bollywood movie "Queen".
📚 The story lefts me surprised as the characters, their jobs, their lives and their reality is so much different yet so similar to us in many ways. Does'nt make sense right? Well, the characters are similar to what they think and what they fear from but are different because of their financial and political status.
📚 The research while writing the book is superb. There are about 7 to 8 locations covered and the famous food along with monuments that too around Christmas has been decribed wonderfully. It looks like the author herself has travelled to these place during Christmas.
📚 Moreover, the richness shown for one of the character's is so apt and the fact that destiny made them come together is completely believable.
📚 Character sketch is wonderful. However, whenever there is only one view point, we feel that we don't know the other character.
📚 Romantic but not too cheesy is what makes it fall out in a different way.
A cozy Christmas read when you are heartbroken!!

Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express is such a cute, run read. The romance between Aubrey and Jasper is so sweet. But I think there are two true highlights to this story. That is the travel and the co-stars. There is such a fun cast of supporting characters throughout the story. I loved Princess, Sabrina and Rox most of all. The travel! Talk about a dream itinerary. I have been to the first three stops on the Wonderland Express - Paris, Belgium and Amsterdam and the little clips you get of them in the story just made me want to go back. Then I obviously added Hamburg, Denmark, Sweden and of course Finland to my travel bucket list. All of the little travel details were so well done. I truly enjoyed my reading experience. I felt like I was on the Winder Wonderland Express.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Oh how I love Rebecca Raisin’s books. In my opinion there is just the right amount of humour, drama and of course romance. Aubrey, a bespoke travel agent, is on the Winter Wonderland Express. She is supposed to be on her honeymoon but……. Her other travel campions are all very unique in their own way and I love how Rebecca has described them. This is an absolutely delightful read that you can get totally lost in. There is a real sense of togetherness and companionship and I thought that this heartwarming story flowed beautifully. Thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the ARC

Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express is a charming, festive romance with a cozy setting and a heartwarming second-chance love story perfect for holiday lovers.
👰 Jilted at the Altar | 💕 Second Chance at Love | 🚂 Luxury Train Travel & Scenic Destinations | ⛄️Magical Christmas Journey
When it comes to holiday-themed romances, I’m a sucker for the idea of magical, snowy settings, luxurious travel, and heartwarming love stories—especially those where the protagonist, jilted by love, gets a second chance at happiness. Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express by Rebecca Raisin promised to be just that: a festive, train-bound journey filled with Christmas cheer, holiday markets, and a romance that could thaw even the coldest of hearts. While the premise sounded idyllic, my experience with the novel was far more mixed than I had hoped.
Aubrey, the protagonist, is a travel-loving, free-spirited woman who runs her own online travel agency, curating exotic itineraries for couples. After years of working remotely and globe-trotting, finding love was never easy for her. Yet, she believes she has found the one in Miles—her fiancé, athletic, charming, and someone who adores being in the limelight. They’re on the brink of marriage when disaster strikes: Aubrey is jilted at the altar, just days before Christmas.
Aubrey, though clearly devastated, doesn’t seem to react with the kind of emotional breakdown you’d expect from someone whose wedding just crumbled. Instead of diving into her grief, she immediately shifts her focus to the honeymoon—yes, the honeymoon she’s about to embark on solo, to the Winter Wonderland Express, a luxury snow train traversing Europe’s most famous Christmas markets. While this choice makes sense from a logistical standpoint (since the trip is already paid for), it also signals a disconnection from the emotional depth I was hoping for.
Now, the Winter Wonderland Express itself is where the book truly shines in terms of potential. The description of this luxurious train ride through the Christmas markets of Europe—Paris, Bruges, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and finally Lapland—is a travel lover’s dream. The stops, including Northern Lights in Lapland, a night in igloos, and festive holiday markets in every city, had all the makings of a magical escape. I found myself wishing that I could hop aboard that train myself. However, as much as I wanted to lose myself in the beautiful descriptions of these iconic locations, the book barely scratches the surface of these destinations. It felt more like a backdrop than an actual part of the story.
The author seems more interested in the characters than in the Christmas-themed settings, which is fine, but I wished there had been more immersive details about the locations and activities that make this trip so special. We hear fleeting mentions of markets and Christmas sights, but those moments never quite capture the magic of the season the way I expected.
Instead, the focus is on the passengers of the train. And here’s where the story became a bit of a mixed bag. Aubrey joins a group of fellow singles, who, in a burst of optimism, dub themselves “The Unlucky in Love Travel Club.” This eclectic mix of personalities was supposed to provide comedic relief and emotional depth, but instead, I found the characters either too quirky or just plain irritating. While some readers might appreciate the colorful personalities on board, I found the excess of quirky characters sometimes distracting. What I loved about this group of seven strangers is their banter and how much they looked out for each other.
Then, there’s the romance between Aubrey and Jasper, a handsome travel journalist. The chemistry between them is palpable at times, but the speed at which their relationship evolves from mere acquaintance to something more made it difficult to suspend disbelief. Aubrey, still reeling from being jilted by Miles, is practically swooning over Jasper less than 24 hours after her wedding was called off. This pacing felt rushed and didn’t allow for a believable emotional journey.
There were moments when I could see why Aubrey and Jasper would be a good match—both are passionate about travel and have a free-spirited side—but their whirlwind romance felt forced and a bit too easy. I would have preferred to see more development in their relationship, where both characters grew individually before coming together.
On top of that, the lie Aubrey tells about her fiancé Miles (that he died in a tragic accident to avoid explaining the truth) didn’t sit well with me. That could have been handled better. Why did Aubrey resort to such an extreme measure? Her decision to hide the truth from Jasper and others added a layer of discomfort that I wasn’t fully on board with.
Despite these issues, I can’t deny that the author’s writing shines through with warmth and charm. The descriptions of the train, the destinations, and the little festive touches along the way painted a cozy, dreamlike atmosphere that kept me turning pages. I appreciated Aubrey’s personal growth, even though I wished for a deeper emotional exploration. Though The Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express didn’t quite fully hit the mark for me, I’m excited for what Rebecca Raisin will write next. Her ability to create immersive worlds and character-driven narratives leaves me eager to see where her next adventure takes us.
I kindly received this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you so much Boldwood Books.

When Aubrey is left at the altar, she decides to go on her honeymoon solo: a train trip through Europe during the festive season, Along with other members of the Unlucky in Love club, Aubrey has a lot of fun, deals with the fallout of her wedding and finds a new love interest. BUt what happens when her ex decides to booard the train and celare his love? A great festive tale.

Another first rate read by Rebecca Raisin.
A wonderful story full of festive cheer to totally escape into. I found it very hard to put this book down.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC in return for an honest review.

Aubrey, after being left at the alter, decides to continue on her honeymoon on the Winter Wonderland Express.
She meets Princess, a wealthy women who is also alone and together, with a few other single passengers, form ‘The Unlucky in Love Travel Club’.
Their short time together and their adventures off the train have formed life long friendships.
A wonderful witty and engaging book, that I can guarantee you will enjoy!

A cute holiday read to get you in the Christmas spirit. I found myself wanting more of the story to be set in the locations that the train stopped at and therefore found some of the middle bit dragged as it focused on gossiping that was happening on the train. A decent book that could have made more of the different European Christmas traditions.

I would like to thank Netgalley, Boldwood Books and Rebecca Raisin for the E ARC of this book.
Aubrey is left at the altar by her fiancé just days before Christmas. She decides that instead of cancelling the honeymoon she is going to go by herself, after all it was a trip of a lifetime and one she really wanted to do. Who wouldn’t want to go on a train journey through snowy Europe visiting some of the most iconic Christmas Markets and ending up in Lapland in Igloos?
When she arrives at the train, she doesn’t want to be seen as the jilted bride, so she tells a wee fib that her new husband died. She finds herself as not the only singleton and soon they become a group, who experience the joys, laughter and fun of all the journey has to offer. Could love be in the air for a number of the group?
I loved this book, the characters were delightful. . I loved that the characters looked out for each other. The journey sounds wonderful and one I would definitely want to go on - a couple of the destinations brought back memories of my visits to them. The train sounded so cosy and one member of the crew was so caring and helpful.
If you are looking for a feel good Christmas romance, then read this book. It will make you want to go on this journey and experience all the markets for yourself.

OMG I loved this book, I was so sorry to see the story end.
Aubrey is ready to leave her travelling lifestyle to marry Miles her high school crush, and she is just experiences some prewedding jitters right.
When Miles leaves her at the altar with no explanation she decides to go on her honeymoon along, a Christmas countdown trip on the Winter Wonderland Express.
Due to a mix up everyone assumes she is a widow and she joins a band of fellow solo travellers become the lonely hearts travel club but she hits a problem when she meets Jasper a travel writer, but as a widow she probably shouldn't be looking at another relationshipnso soon.
This was a fabulous story, wonderful characters and settings, I so wish I could experience the book all over again a great book to lead you into Christmas.

Rebecca Raisin is well known for her lovely, romantic storylines with a twist that enchant the romantic in us all. Her latest book Last Stop On The Wonderland Express is a heartwarming, funny, captivating romance that will warm the very cockles of your heart as you join the passengers on the Winter Wonderland Express.
Its December 16 and it is Aubrey Evan’s wedding day, but she is having second and third thoughts about what she about to commit to; a life with Miles, the man she has a schoolgirl crush on and years later got together with to commit to life ever after.
Arriving at the Church she discovers she has been jilted. Stunned and in tears she returns home wondering if what had just occurred was a practical joke. She was the jilted bride of rom-com fantasy, except this was not fantasy.
What to do about the wonderful, romantic honeymoon she and Miles had planned and paid for, traveling to Lapland to view the sensational Arora Borealis at Christmas time is the question she asks herself.
Deciding she needs to get out of the Village, away from all the well-meaning relatives and friends she decides go as it is still a trip she needs to take as she is an independent Travel lanner
Arriving in Calais, France on December 17 to commence what should have been her honeymoon, she is greeted by Sabrina, her Winter Wonderland Express hostess, clad in a cumbersome gingerbread costume. She also meets Jasper, a devastatingly good-looking man, with the most gorgeous green-blue eyes, thick dark brows and an enigmatic smile.
Aubrey feels an instant attraction which is certainly not what she is looking for but as the days pass on this almost magical journey, she, Jasper, Princess aka Mrs Money Bags, CJ, Barry and Karen form the Unlucky In Love Club as singles on a train full of loved up couples.
And so begins a most romantic trip from Calais to Lapland that is full of fun, soul searching and dare one say new love as Rebecca Raisin takes us on a journey wrapped in luxury on the Last Stop on the Wonderland Express; one which could easily be considered as her best yet with once again very relatable characters and some very valuable life lessons.

Aubrey's fiance gets cold feet at the alter and leaves just 10 minutes before she gets there.
Then she cant contact him and hes not replying to her either.
she deicides shes still going on there honeymoon a magical train journey stopping at all the christmas markets on its way to final destination lapland and christmas stay there for a few days.
On the journey she meets lots of interesting people mostly in coupels but there is six of them that arnt and they stick together throughout the journey.
A truley magical trip that i wish i could go on.

Enjoyable, cozy story of finding friendship and love while traveling abroad. Aubrey gets jilted on her wedding day and decides to continue onto the extravagant holiday train traveling in Northern Europe. She’s grieving the end of her relationship and everyone thinks she is newly widowed. On board, she falls into a social group with other solo travelers including the wealthy Princess, and American travel writer Jasper. The book follows each of their stops on the train journey and it’s hard to not be jealous of this trip! The story is on the slower pace and cozy side and is a chaste romance (only kissing). Check it out.
Thank you, Boldwood Books, for providing this book for review consideration through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are solely my own.

the winter wonderland express does sound wonderful especially at christmas and there are alot of characters on this journey it was a sweet story but i have to be honest i really strugled to get into this i just couldnt relate to Aubrey or get behind her and because of this the romamce part fell flat for me but it would be a nice cosy book tp read at christmas.

When Aubrey's fiancé dumps her literally at the altar just days before Christmas, her first thought is for their honeymoon, a luxury snow train winding through Europe's most beautiful Christmas markets, from Paris to Stockholm, ending in Lapland under the Northern Lights. It was meant to be the most romantic ten days of her life, and now she has to go it alone. Arriving on the train and not wanting to be known as someone who was jilted, she accidentally implies her new husband died in a horrible accident. She quickly discovers she's not the only singleton on board, and the group of single passengers nickname themselves 'The Unlucky in Love Travel Club.' But as the train gathers pace through snowy landscapes, so do Aubrey's feelings for absurdly handsome travel journalist Jasper. Maybe her magical Christmas honeymoon for one is exactly what she needs, and perhaps she's not as unlucky in love as she thought.
