I love a great book that delves into an interesting subject with clear explanations and research. This book was dense but in a good way. I took my time reading this, thinking about it and then talking about this with one of my friends that is African to get her point of view.
As a nurse, this book was a very interesting one and really gave me a good insight into how black people have been treated and what the biaises are. I really think that this book is a great one to read for anyone that works in healthcare and is genuinely interested in treating everyone equally but also making sure that we do the same amount of research and funding for people of each skin colour and background.
I would recommend this book. It was also written in a very good way, not too difficult to comprehend and not too basic that I fet like I needed more information.

A detailed and emotional exploration of why black people die sooner.
The writer starts with the roots causes of the matter and opens the readers' eyes to how racism persisted in medicine, and other areas.
This is a must read for health professionals, policy makers, politicians, lawyers, and everyone who wish to challenge misconceptions and inequalities.
I am glad this book is evidence-based and scholarly but also generally easy-to-follow.
