Ugh I just wanna live on Silver Pines Ranch!!
To be completely honest I wasn’t sure how I felt about the segue into these characters getting a book, but I was wrong! These two are my new favorites of the series!
I think I cried like 4 times 😂😭
Haden and Cassie were so raw and sweet to one another under all their playful sass. Thank you Net Galley for the arc. I don’t want this series to ever end!

I love Paisley Hope and everything she has put out in the last year or so! This series is so good, it will suck you in and never let you out!

Freeing the Wild by Paisley Hope is small town cowboy romance perfection, something that this author truly excels at. I have loved every book in this series, but this just might be my favorite.
Cassie is a rising country star needing a break, and Haden is the rugged horse rehab cowboy next door who is actually a total sweetheart. One unexpected night together turns into something much deeper when fate brings them back together at Silver Pines Ranch. The chemistry between these two was palpable, and really electric. I absolutely loved them together, despite being opposites and having obstacles in the way. The spice was REALLY hot, but are we really surprised when it is Paisley Hope writing it? Nope, I am not and she did not disappoint in this area.
This has so many tropes we all love: one night stand, opposites attract, forced proximity, he falls first (and hard, by the way), and that dreamy found family vibe that makes you want to pack up and move to Kentucky. Yes, there’s a little insta lust, but the slow build of emotional connection makes it work. I was rooting for them from page one, and honestly, that epilogue truly made me tear up.
Cassie’s mental health struggles and Haden’s support made their relationship feel real and grounded. There’s depth, healing, and plenty of sweet moments to balance the signature spice. The horses, the ranch, the sister ties... it’s all so cozy and sweet and warm, even with some heavier themes that are explored in this book.
If you're into cowboy romances with spice, emotion, and the kind of soft, rugged man who’ll ruin you for all others, then you should read this now. Also, read the other books in the series because they are fantastic! Paisley Hope does not miss. 🤠💗🔥
Also... I really wish that Paisley Hope would stop including Morgan Wallen songs in her playlists. He is harmful and while I would not write her off just because of that, I am disappointed that this artist continues to be featured throughout the playlists in her books. Just a fair warning to those who do not want to support anything associated with Morgan Wallen, including this.
Thank you to NetGalley, Paisley Hope, and Dell for the eARC of this book.

I love cowboy romances and this one was fantastic! A pop princess in a small town, a sexy cowboy, and spicy chemistry between the two! A must read for romance lovers!

This was very much insta-lust, but I loved how it took them a little time to actually talk and fall back into each other again. It gave me the tension I desperately needed.

Silver Pines has my heart, along with any and all books written by Paisley. Freeing the Wild was just what I needed to cure me of my Laurel Creek withdrawals.
Let me start by saying, the tropes in this book? Perfect. You’ve got the standard cowboy romance, starting with a one-night stand, opposites attract, drifting into a slow-burn with a hint of “she’s off limits but I can’t help myself.”
Cassie, an up-and-coming country singer is rather different to the other female MC’s throughout the series. There’s so much depth to her and because of that, Freeing the Wild might have to be my favourite (although I say this at every new release of Paisley’s).
As Ivy’s sister, Cassie visits Silver Pines and ends up having a memorable evening with Hayden, our rugged yet loveable cowboy/rancher. They’re strangers, until they’re not. It’s one night, until it’s not. It’s a secret...
“Well, damn, I must have hit my head because I’ve never found mustaches appealing until right this second.”
Cassie is so determined to prove herself in her career, that burning the candles at both ends mixed with a traumatic event leads to her needing a well-deserved break. Where better to relax and recover than at the idyllic Silver Pines ranch surrounded by her family and the Ashby’s?
Except that stranger of a cowboy from her out-of-character night, months previously, throws a spanner in the works by being her new, temporary neighbour. A bit of close proximity sprinkled into what is already a set-up for the best kind of romance.
“You’re just this big rugged cowboy with a heart of gold aren’t you?”
Hayden (I love you Hayden) has been warned that Ivy’s sister is off-limits. It’s not until it’s too late that he makes that connection. He tries to keep his distance, but watching Cassie deal with her anxieties makes the pull too hard to resist.
“Some things can be just so beautiful they evoke this awakening in you, a reminder that there’s so much more out there than you’ve seen.”
There is a journey of self-development for both of the characters as they help each other to navigate their personal issues and deal with it together. It helps to have Hayden as your biggest cheerleader. And as Hayden allows himself to get closer to Cassie, he can’t help reminding himself that there is a time limit. Cassie is temporary, she has to return to the stage at some point.
“It reminds me that losing something doesn’t mean it’s lost forever, that there is always tomorrow and a new path to travel.”
I could write a lengthy book filled with the quotes and reasons I loved them. Paisley has this ability to create such relatable and endearing wit and humour through her writing and the depth of the trauma was so heartfelt that I both laughed and cried.
“When life throws you into a storm, turn around, throw your middle finder up and play in the puddles.”
The connection and journey between Cassie and Hayden had me so invested. I’ve never wanted fictional characters to be together so much. Both perfect, yet imperfect, in ways that are flawless to the other.
“Thing is, I never doubted her strength. But when I’m around her, I really fucking question my own.”
I have not a single criticism of this book. I think I fell as deeply for the characters, as they did each other.
“tell me something real.”
And the little teasers about the potential main characters for the next book? I’m not going to add a spoiler but MAKE IT HAPPEN PAISLEY. I can’t stand the second-hand tension!
Thank you NetGalley and Ballantine for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. Having read the other books in this series, I was so excited to read go back to Laurel Creek, Kentucky and read Hadens story.
Freeing the Wild by Paisley Hope completely swept me away! I started it planning to read a few chapters—and ended up staying up late to finish the whole thing in one sitting. It was that addictive.
Haden and Cassie’s story is emotional, intense, and beautifully written. Their chemistry is undeniable, and I was completely invested in their journey from the first page to the last. Paisley Hope does an amazing job balancing tension, romance, and heartfelt moments in a way that feels effortless.
If you're already a fan of the series, this book is an absolute must-read. And if you're new to it, do yourself a favor and start from the beginning—you won't regret it. I already can’t wait to see what Paisley Hope writes next!

I thought this was absolute perfection. I loved Cassie and Haden's story, the country singer and the cowboy. I've enjoyed Paisley Hope's Silver Pines Ranch series but this one was my absolute favorite. I thought it was perfectly well-written, sensitive and emotional but steamy too and I can't say enough good things about this small town cowboy romance. Thanks to Netgalley and Dell for the ARC.

Paisley Hope knows how to write a good cowboy romance.
We have country star x cowboy. Cassie (our FMC) is so down to earth and real and struggling with such real world issues. It was honestly nice to see this FMC who wasn't perfect and was struggling like the rest of us. And Haden (MMC)- I fell for that man immediately. When you find out he also volunteers at a equine therapy/rehabilitation farm- I couldn't have swooned any harder honestly. The way he was always there for Cassie in whatever way she needed him was beautiful.
It is sweet, spicy, off the charts chemistry, forced proximity, found family, cowboy, insta-lust, (maybe reformed playboy adjacent- he hasn't been a playboy in a minute but he for sure was).

Cassie needs a break from the spotlight and to deal with the pressure of being famous. Haden was a fun distraction but now she is starting to like him. Now Cassie needs to decide, should she pick fame or love? And would she like to permanently stay in the little Western town?

Thank you to the publishers and NetGally for this Advanced Release copy. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Even with my 5-star reviews I usually have bits and pieces of a book I disliked but I rate it overall. But this book was utter perfection.
From their meeting to their passionate night together, then fate bringing them back together to reading how they fall in love with such ease... I couldn't have asked for more from a cowboy romance book.
The FMC was someone I would want to be best friends with and the MMC was someone I would fall in love in first sight. When I can love them both and their love for each other, that book deserves a 5-star rating always.
But let's talk about this book specifically, there was a found family that warmed my cold cold heart. MMC has a dirty mouth to die for and the FMC is ain't a shy girl either. They complete each other perfectly and the author wrote this book in such a way that you want to shovel snow with them or cozy up in front of a fire next to them just to be around these characters. I felt like I built a real connection with all of these characters.
Jealous Haden was the most perfect thing I have read but when he gets emotional because of his love for his woman? I need to be heavily medicated because my heart can't take it.
Please read this book!!!!!!! Worst case scenario you'll be obsessed with perfectly imperfect characters that feel like family.

Thank you so much for this gifted copy in exchange for an honest review! I just adore Paisley’s cowboy romance books. They are done with such care and so well done. I fell in love with Cassie and Haden! Such a good one

Thanks to ballantine books and NetGalley for this arc. I have loved every book that Paisley Hope has written and this one is no different. I loved reading Cassie and hadens story! It was so cute.

Ughhhhhh Paisley Hope does it again… she just gets how to do cowboy romances RIGHT. The combination of kinda-city girl kinda-celebrity meeting a secretly a sweetheart cowboy just hits the spot perfectly. The way Haden is so comforting to Cassie really highlights how perfect they are for eachother. Haden is genuinely one of the best book boyfriends, he’s the best mix of spicy while still being down to earth and sweet to her. While I’ve read some of this series I am reading the rest ASAPPPP

I love the whole series this was one of my favorites of the four books so far. I can't wait for the fifth book to come out.

I devoured this book, like all the books in the Silver Pines Ranch series, and this one does not disappoint.
Cassie and Hadens' love story could not have been more perfect. It had lust and desire and a little enemies to lovers. They both gave everything to each other but also to their own lives, and in the end, they got everything they could ever want.
I loved how active the other characters from the past books are in here, and I can't wait to see what's next in this series. I hope it's Olivia 🤞
Thank you, Netgally and Ballantine, for the ARC.

I keep reading these books hoping one will finally click for me… but so far, no luck.
That said, just because it’s not the right fit for me doesn’t mean it won’t be for someone else. If you’re a reader who enjoys cowboy romance, small-town charm, and a slower-paced love story, I think you’ll find a lot to enjoy here. It has all the hallmarks fans of the genre tend to love—it just didn’t quite land for me personally.

Paisley Hope continues to impress. I enjoy all of the thought she puts into each character and the overall story of her cowboy series'. While I'm not a country girl, I can see myself in these characters and enjoy all the depth they share on the pages.

Paisley Hope does a fantastic job creating these lovable, real characters. And the ranch is such a peaceful place with a rowdy bunch of family and friends. The trauma Cassie deals with is pretty intense but she makes good choices to get better. This is so steamy! Haden is strong yet sensitive. I love their connection--they're playful yet respectful. I'm very excited about Olivia and Asher's story. Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC

Freeing the Wild by Paisley Hope is a swoony cowboy romance. The story flows easily with a clear direction, making it an engaging and an accessible read even if, like me, you haven’t read the first three books in the series. You might feel a little out of the loop at times, but it’s still easy to get into.
Cassie and Haden are both complex, well-developed characters with just enough emotional depth and personal growth to keep things interesting. Their journeys are compelling. However, I’m not usually a big fan of insta-love and this one leaned a bit too heavily in that direction for me. As well as their connection feeling a little rushed. The moments where they truly opened up to each other were my favorite. Their honest conversations and shared understanding were what really made their bond feel authentic.
Overall, if you’re looking for a spicy cowboy romance with heart and depth, this one’s worth picking up.
