Paisley Hope continues to impress. I enjoy all of the thought she puts into each character and the overall story of her cowboy series'. While I'm not a country girl, I can see myself in these characters and enjoy all the depth they share on the pages.

Paisley Hope does a fantastic job creating these lovable, real characters. And the ranch is such a peaceful place with a rowdy bunch of family and friends. The trauma Cassie deals with is pretty intense but she makes good choices to get better. This is so steamy! Haden is strong yet sensitive. I love their connection--they're playful yet respectful. I'm very excited about Olivia and Asher's story. Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC

Freeing the Wild by Paisley Hope is a swoony cowboy romance. The story flows easily with a clear direction, making it an engaging and an accessible read even if, like me, you haven’t read the first three books in the series. You might feel a little out of the loop at times, but it’s still easy to get into.

Cassie and Haden are both complex, well-developed characters with just enough emotional depth and personal growth to keep things interesting. Their journeys are compelling. However, I’m not usually a big fan of insta-love and this one leaned a bit too heavily in that direction for me. As well as their connection feeling a little rushed. The moments where they truly opened up to each other were my favorite. Their honest conversations and shared understanding were what really made their bond feel authentic.
Overall, if you’re looking for a spicy cowboy romance with heart and depth, this one’s worth picking up.

I loved this book. I have read this series and loved each one more and more. I appreciated how Freeing the Wild had PTSD representation for both of the characters. I appreciate how it had parental abandonment shown and how it is possible to forgive and move on. I realize this is a fiction book but it was very relevant. The spice in this was perfection and I loved every moment. Such a good book. 4.5 stars.

I’ve read every book by Paisley Hope so far!
I devour her books and also never want them to end at the same time.
Freeing the Wild is a proper cowboy romance. Their banter had me laughing out out in the middle of the night. The cowboy’s nicknames for her, his acts of service, and the desire between both had me swooning!
The spice is delicious and the silver pines setting is picturesque. We get to see more of our favorite couples from past books as their lives continue. It’s all just an excellent read! What makes this book standout is how it’s a full on cowboy on a ranch romance. There’s no just tossing tropes around, Paisley makes them count in every way! I was rooting for these two characters and it delivered! Hayden is everything you want in a strong, sexy cowboy. Cassie is fierce and fun! The two of them together and add a truck or a cabin and oh my goodness! It’s sweet, steamy and also gripping. I can’t wait for the final book in this series! 🤠❄️💕

Freeing the Wild is such a fun romance book! I loved learning more about Silver Pines and how it helped to change Cassie’s life for the better.

This was a perfect mix of romance, character growth, and cowboys!

Thank you for the opportunity of an eARC, and I am leaving this review willingly.

Paisley Hope is by far one of my favorite cowboy romance writers. I’ve read, and loved 🥰 , the entire Silver Pines series. I love how all the Silver Pines books revolve around found family, Freeing the Wild is no different! I, personally, love the insta love trope and this book had it completely swoon worthy. I do think Cassie could have been written with a little more depth (or maybe it was just the fact her career didn’t agree with me personally). Nonetheless, I loved Freeing the Wild and look forward to Hope’s next book!!

WOW! I absolutely loved this.

I didn’t really understand Cassie at first, but as we got to know her character more, I became continually more enamored with her.

Haden is so dreamy. I love his desires to run a rescue farm and truly would fall for this cowboy too.

The third act “separation” was done very well- I thought it made sense for where they were in their careers and they came back together in a wonderful way.

I also love the emphasis on horses as therapy- can attest to this one.

I was so excited to get the opportunity to read this book early. I love this series with all my heart. That being said something in this book fell flat for me. I love the Cassie and Haden and their connection but the plot fell short for me. I didn’t feel as excited to pick it up. Though as all of Paisley Hope’s books do I loved the found family and getting to read about some of my favorite characters. Being back at silver pines alone was enough for me to enjoy the book. Freeing the Wild by Paisley Hope is the fourth book in the Silver Pines Ranch series—and wow, this one completely blew me away! It was my first time reading anything by Paisley Hope, and I was so hooked that I immediately ordered the rest of the series so I can binge the whole thing.

This book follows rising country star Cassie Spencer and horse rehabilitator Haden Westbrook. The plot has a steady pace and a clear direction, making it super easy to follow without ever feeling slow or confusing. It’s straightforward, entertaining, and really well-structured.

But where this book really shines is in the characters. Cassie and Haden are both incredibly well written—with emotional depth, layered personalities, and a few twists that kept me on my toes. One night changes everything between them... but is it for better or worse? Cassie is snarky, bratty, and full of sunshine (while also carrying the weight of her grief), and Haden is the brooding, steamy, rugged cowboy boyfriend dreams are made of.

The side characters add even more flavor and context without ever stealing the spotlight. That said, since this is book four, I did get a little mixed up at times trying to keep track of all the couples from the earlier books who show up in this one. So if you haven’t read the first three yet (like me), expect a little confusion on who's who and why some moments hit harder than others.

The setting is easy to visualize and follow, mainly taking place at Silver Pines Ranch, with a few detours to well-known real-life cities. The world-building is simple but solid, which made everything feel grounded and real without being overwhelming.

Overall, this book easily earned a 5/5 star rating from me, along with a 5/5 spice rating for its explicit and steamy scenes. If you're on the hunt for your next spicy cowboy romance, Freeing the Wild is absolutely the one to grab!

Rising country music star Cassie Spencer retreats to Silver Pines Ranch in rural Kentucky to recover from a traumatic incident mid-tour. There, she reconnects with Haden Westbrook—a rugged ranch hand and rescue-horse advocate—when their past one-night stand unexpectedly reignites into something deeper .if you loved the all of the other books this one's for you

I love Haden's love and ambition for rehabilitating horses that need help!

Haden and Cassie's story is so well done. The patience he has with her is so good! I loved this book and can't wait for it to hit the shelves.

This one swept me up completely. It had that slow, aching sweetness I adore in small-town romances, but with a spark that felt entirely its own. I loved most how the romance didn’t rush itself. The writing let things linger. Glances, quiet conversations, little touches that held so much weight. There was a real sense of Cassie finding parts of herself again in this quieter life, and Haden never tried to hold her back. He just made space for her to choose. This wasn’t just a sweet small town romance. It was a story about healing and coming home to yourself, about the people who see you at your worst and still think you deserve something beautiful. I felt every word of it.

I was able to read an ARC of this. And I have to say that Paisley Hope is one of my top favorite modern cowboy romance authors. I will be so sad when the silver Pine series is done, but I know that she will come out with even more books that are even greater.

It was great to be back in Silver Pines Ranch! Cassie and Hayden were absolutely adorable, and I think they had the best development out of all the couples in the series. Their chemistry was off the charts—definitely the strongest in the entire series, in my opinion.

That said, I’m not a huge fan of insta-love, and this one felt a little too fast for my liking. It seemed like they spent more time apart than they did together, which made their connection feel slightly rushed. I actually found myself skimming through the last few intimate scenes—not because they weren't well written, but because I was more invested in their emotional growth.

I really enjoyed their deeper conversations and wish we had more of those moments. Their mutual understanding helped them grow not only as individuals but also as a couple.

Thank you to Random House Publishing Group for the eARC!

I’m completely obsessed with how this story handles the conflict between personal happiness and professional ambition. It never feels like Cassie has to choose between being successful and being loved, but rather about finding the kind of success that actually matters to her. That message resonated with me so deeply and made this more than just a romance; it became a story about authenticity and courage. The small-town setting adds such warmth and charm to the story. I could practically smell the hay and feel the Kentucky sunshine while reading. The supporting characters and the community around Silver Pines create this rich backdrop that makes you want to pack up and move there yourself. I am highly recommending it.

Another trip back to Silver Pines and it was a fun (albeit) one! Cassie, a fiery rising country star, meets Haden when she comes to spend time with her sister in Laurel Creek and they hit it off immediately. Their chemistry burned HOT and led to a steamy hookup, an Irish goodbye by Cassie, and a hit song! But when Cassie comes back to Laurel Creek a few months later, the fire has been dimmed from her eyes and her anxiety is running high due to some traumatic events. Enter Haden, who can’t seem to stay away from the blonde next door.

I loved how this book tackled some harder topics like mental health and how the two main characters learned to lean on each other during tougher times. What I didn’t like about this book is how darn cheesy it could be at times. It certainly felt like instant-love so if that’s something you like in books, this one’s for you!

While it wasn’t my favorite in the series, I still love going back to visit all of my favorites with every new book. And with the crumbs left for the next book, I can’t wait to see what Paisley has in store next!!!

Thanks NetGalley and Ballentine for an ARC!
