I really like the way this book is laid out in four clear parts, which made it easy to dip in and out of. The message that nature can be found everywhere if we slow down and really look is one that resonates with me. The author shares personal stories and experiences, which helped bring suggestions to life. I especially appreciated the gentle encouragement to be more present in nature, to look more closely, and then to look again with fresh eyes and to ask questions about what's happening and why.
Some of the activities suggested (like walking like animals or 'meeting a tree') didn’t quite land for me personally, but I can see how they might work well for other readers. I did find some parts a bit too detailed or in places, but others will likely enjoy the depth. What I took most from it was the reminder to put my phone away, go outside, and just be for a while.
Meditation and mindfulness are woven through the book in a practical, grounded way, and I liked that it offered different ways to try.
