I was not expecting this to be a Christian book of poetry about God, the Bible, etc so it was not for me. I could see this being suitable for a Christian family to read after dinner or to add to a church service.

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to experience this! Much appreciated.
This was an interesting collection of poems. Most of the themes I noticed were on faith, family, aging, and love. Altogether, I think I highlighted about 9 lines that really stuck with me. One of them being "Hurting people, hurt people." So simple, poignant. I've heard something akin to this in therapy with different wording but the the meaning was the same. I would say "The Squabble" would be my favorite. It depicts wisdom and her described method would be worthy of exploring for anyone.
I am not a spiritual person but I enjoyed her descriptions of her faith and how important her spiritual journey is and the love and solace she has gained from it.
Thank you very much for the poems and I hope I can check out more from this author in the future.

i didn't realise this one would be so heavy on religion, it's sadly not my cup of tea. but i did enjoy a few poems which were called: the orphan, the friendship list, hurting people... hurt people, first kiss and my heart never lies. while some poems worked better than the others for me, i'm still glad i read it and still wanna continue my journey on trying more poetry books!

A really unique poetry collection.
I related with most of the poem.
It had like a an atmosphere that hits home.

Poetry used to be my favourite genre when I was at Primary school, I don’t read it so much now as an adult but I must say this book is beautiful and I truly recommend. 🌸
No Big Thing!, Closet Cabinets, The Squabble, Feathers, Things Left Unsaid, Aging With Grace are my favourite poems here and within a few words they say it all.

This book was emotional, but also encouraging in a way. The poems are short, yet meaningful, and provide a sense of comfort. This is something that intrigued me a lot. Also, the way this book talked heavily about Faith made this book even more impactful to me. I loved how there was rhyming in the poems, and they were all different yet structured similarly. It is well written and made me want to read more. I was never tempted to stop reading, I just wanted to keep getting sucked into this beautiful world of poems that she had written.
Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read this ARC early, and a big thanks to P.S. Glyckherr for writing this beautiful poetry book.

It’s difficult to review a book like this. While all the poems seemed deeply personal to the author, they didn’t really speak to me. But that’s often how poetry is—one size does not fit all.
Glyckherr covers a wide range of topics and it is clear that much work and thought went into this little collection.
