I am normally a huge fan of dark romance and Persephone Hades retellings but this wasn't it. I just wasn't captured by it. It stayed pretty uneventful throughout the story. Also, at about the 15% mark the author really doesn't do great job with demonstrating the fine line of S. assault vs. dark romance/consent. This book was not for me.

Of Prophecies & Pomegranates was the best book because it seamlessly blended romance, mythology, and emotional depth into a beautifully written story. Inspired by the Hades and Persephone myth, it offered a fresh perspective with rich world-building and compelling characters. The chemistry between the leads was magnetic, and the tension kept readers hooked from the first page. Its lyrical prose, layered storytelling, and themes of choice, power, and sacrifice made it unforgettable. Every chapter deepened the mystery while tugging at your heart. It wasn’t just a romance
it was an epic, immersive experience that stayed with you long after finishing.
