Not what I was expecting, I was expecting more of a physchological thriller, but this was more of a domestic thriller set in a psychological thriller setting. It was emotional, at times unbelievable, but overall a fun read.

Bonnie and Steffan go hiking in the Alps and get caught in a snowstorm they find an isolated cabin in the woods, the woman welcomes them in but all is not as it seems. Full of twists and turns as you'd expect from Jessica. Good well drawn chracters and a plot to keep you reading. Thanks to Inkubator books and Netgalley for this review ARC.

This book had me absolutely glued. Jessica Huntley spins a slow-burning psychological thriller that’s as chilling as the snowstorm her characters are trapped in. Bonnie and her husband Steffan seek shelter in the Swiss Alps, but what they find is far more dangerous than the storm outside. Enter Annalise—an oddly generous stranger with a presence that’s both comforting and unnerving.

The tension builds quietly, but relentlessly. What made this story stand out for me wasn’t just the suspense—it was the emotional depth. Bonnie isn’t just a woman trying to survive the cold, she’s unraveling the truth about her marriage and the stranger who’s sheltering them. The isolation amplifies everything: fear, suspicion, betrayal.

There’s no flashy twists here—just a deeply human unraveling in a setting that feels almost mythic. Huntley’s writing is spare but elegant. You feel every moment of dread, every flicker of doubt. And by the time you reach the final chapter, you’re left wondering who the real danger was all along.

With thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for proving me with an ARC of this book for a free and honest review.

Mountaineering in the Swiss Alps can be nerve-wracking enough, but add in a snowstorm, the legend of the White Witch, and a little dramatic backstory that we hop back and forth to, and it adds up to a very chilling thriller that will have me thinking about it for weeks. The author did a great job really bringing the characters to life on the page, I wanted to know more about how they got to this point in time and what choices or events lead here.

Bonnie and Steffan are hiking in the Swiss Alps, however, they hit a bad snowstorm that turns them around but also brings them to an isolated cabin in the woods. How everything unfolds is not how you expect, and also so mind-boggling! I gasped, I was flabbergasted, I was sad, there were so many emotions that Jessica brought through. Highly recommend if this is your genre!

This book would be absolutely perfect for winter reading.

The bitter cold, snow, the Alps, the hiking, the exhaustion - all perfect for a cup of hot chocolate and a sofa in the winter.

Some of the story was a bit predictable and some of the story regarding the marriage between Bonnie and Steffan seemed a little unbelievable.

However, this was a page-turner and I think readers who enjoy domestic suspense or death-defying settings would enjoy I WILL FIND YOU.

Thank you NetGalley and Inkubator Books for an e-copy of I WILL FIND YOU to review.

I rate I WILL FIND YOU four out of five stars.

Caught in an Alpine snowstorm, Bonnie and Steffan stumble upon Annalise’s isolated cabin. Grateful at first, the three soon start to feel the emotional and physical impact of the storm.

This was a snowy survival thriller with a popcorn feel - entertaining, tense, and very readable.

I liked how the main timeline was broken up with past events. Annalise’s origin story was pretty epic. She’s the wild card, but sympathetic too.

Bonnie is the heart of the story. Her search for her brother’s body is the catalyst for the story but I found myself questioning some of her choices - not gonna lie, trekking the Alps felt insane to me!

While there are a few reveals along the way, I wouldn’t call this twisty - it’s more about atmosphere and tension than shock factor. Still, it wraps up in a satisfying way.

𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗?
This isn’t a nonstop adrenaline survival thriller. It’s a story of flawed humans trying to survive - the elements, each other and whole lotta snow!

This was a real tense and reality read, told from multiple points of view. I really enjoyed the way the stories linked and the tension was palpable at times. It was gripping throughout .

This book was very tense! I really enjoyed reading it and I had a hard time putting it down at times. I loved the format of the book with different povs and times that is always one of my favorite things in books. I had a hard time connecting with the characters but that might have just been me not finding them very likable. The only thing I did not like was how so many things were unresolved until the epilogue and then a bunch of stuff was revealed, it felt a little rushed. Other than that it was a pretty good book!

The premise of this book sounded amazing and I was instantly attracted, especially as I love Jessica Huntley‘s dark and twisty psychological thrillers.

This one starts slow, then gathers pace and it is a quick read, but it didn’t really ever take off for me. I would say it is more of a murder mystery than a psychological thriller. The twists were predictable and the two main female narrators, Annalise and Bonnie, were too similar for me to differentiate between them as the POVs and timeline switched for each chapter.

I was expecting something more shocking when the two women’s backstories came together, but the tenuous link that was revealed was not really a shock considering how Annalise lived in the mountains.

Enjoyable enough, especially for those who are new to thriller style books, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations for me this time.

I Will Find You by Jessica Huntley is a gripping, chilling, claustrophobic and intense thriller set in the Swiss Alps.

The story is told from the perspectives of Bonnie and Annalise, both in the present and past. The narrative gradually unveils layers, providing just enough suspense to keep me captivated.

A sudden snowstorm, a remote cabin, three strangers, who will survive?
We follow Bonnie and her husband Steffan as they seek refuge in a mysterious cabin during a snowstorm in the Swiss Alps. They are welcomed by a mysterious woman, Annalise. As they are trapped together, things get terrifying, and Annalise grows increasingly creepy. Soon, we learn that everyone hides a secret. Is there a way out?

The writing flows quickly and is easy to digest. I absolutely loved it!

I enjoyed this book tremendously. An atmospheric ride from first to last page with a few twists in between. It took me around a day or so to finish. Highly recommended. I'll look out for more from this author ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Poor Bonnie!! This book is gripping and heartbreaking at the same time. It also shows how a human can push past all their limits to survive. Bonnie and her husband, Steffan, embark on a trek across the Swiss Alps when a horrible snow storm make them seek refuge in a remote cabin that isn't on any trail markers. They think they are "saved" by Annalise but things quickly turn dark and deadly, it's a race for survival against the weather and their host.
Jessica Huntley provides a chilling thriller that sets the scene with so much vivid details. You are guessing to how things are going to turn out quickly and you are rooting for Bonnie to survive. The twists and turns that keep coming will make you flip pages at a quick pace to see what is going to happen next. Absolutely bone chilling at times.

This was an exciting and atmospheric read.
A couple is hiking in the Swiss Alps trying to find Bonnie’s brother who was killed.
They get caught in a. snow storm and find a cabin with an old woman. This begins a twisty story that kept me on the edge of my seat. Is the lady the white witch of the Alps? What is her story?
The story goes back and forth between Bonnie and Annalise.
It was a fast read and I would recommend.
Thank you

This novel took me forever to finish, and it wasn't because it didn't have the makings of a good story, as it absolutely it did. It was just the constant jump every chapter not only between Bonnie and Annalise but also them in the past and them in the future that just kept taking me out of the story.

Added to that, neither Bonnie nor Annalise had a strong enough personality to truly distinguish one from the other. There were several times I had to stop and think, “Wait, which one is this again?”, which is far from ideal when you’re juggling multiple timelines and perspectives. If I can’t easily tell two main characters apart, the emotional stakes just fall flat for me.
Then there’s the marketing. The front cover promises “a gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist” and “the truth will chill you to the bone.” Unfortunately, for me at least, it delivered neither of those things. The plot was fairly predictable from early on, and when the big twist finally hit, it felt very underwhelming.

That all being said, I don't think that this was a bad book by any means, in fact for someone who is just getting into the suspense/thriller genre (or who doesn't mind the constant switching back and forth), I think this would be a great read for them. It just missed the mark for me.

I thought about this book all day long waiting to get a chance to sit and read it again. This was a gripping thriller and I felt the claustrophobia of being snowed in. I thought this was really well written and loved how the author was able to weave sympathy for the characters between the different timelines. I was however confused about Annalise's hair and don’t feel the difference was explained. I assumed she was wearing a wig, but it wasn’t clear to me.
I really enjoyed the characters and enjoyed the captivating story. This will be one I will think about everytime I am on a snowy mountain. And while the Swiss Alps sound beautiful - it’s not a place I have any plans to travel to. 😆

We follow Bonnie and her husband Steffan as they seek shelter in a cabin during a snowstorm in the Swiss Alps, only to find themselves drawn into the unsettling company of a mysterious woman named Annalise.

I’m a huge fan of isolated mysteries, stories where characters are trapped in a confined space and forced to confront each other, so the premise immediately pulled me in. But while the setup was promising, the interactions and unfolding events didn’t fully deliver the tension I was hoping for.

The writing is fast-paced and easy to get through. But the repetition, overly coincidental twists, and a lot of telling rather than showing made it hard to stay emotionally invested. Certain motives didn’t make sense, and the prolonged focus on being trapped began to feel more suffocating than suspenseful.

The central theme that people aren’t who they seem had potential, but the story didn’t dig deep enough to make it resonate.

I Will Find You is a chilling tale - in more ways than one. Bonnie and her husband Steffan are hiking or maybe hunting for something in the Alps. It's cold. Very cold. So cold that when they realize they veered off course, they may just freeze to death. But then they spot a lone cabin that may be their salvation.

But the cabin is occupied. With urban myths swirling in Bonnie's mind about the White Witch, she can't decide if she feels thankful or scared of the cabin's lone inhabitant. Will Bonnie be safe in the cabin, or should she have stayed out in the cold?

This is a really good story. Very detailed descriptions that will make the reader believe he or she is in a spooky cabin with snow taller than the chimney. Good. read.

👵 She smiled with rotten teeth and offered them tea.
They should’ve run.

🌙 I finished at 2:30 a.m. and couldn't sleep — read at your own risk.🥹🥺

📖 “I Will Find You” by Jessica Huntley is a tense, heart-thudding ride that had me completely gripped—and absolutely terrified.

🏔️ Set in the unforgiving Swiss Alps, the story traps you in a snowstorm, an isolated cabin, and a nightmare of secrets and manipulation. Annalise, the eerie woman who offers shelter, might just be the most chilling character I've encountered in a while. That 😬 rotten-toothed smile, her 🍵 spiced tea, the 🔪 meat-chopping sounds—I could feel the fear crawling up my spine.

💔 Bonnie came to the mountain with one heartbreaking goal—to recover the most important thing in her life. But what she uncovers is a horrific truth that emotionally wrecked her... and left me boiling with rage. 😡

😵‍💫 The atmosphere is claustrophobic, the tension tightens like a noose, and the cracks in Bonnie and Steffan’s marriage only make things more unstable. Every page left me wondering: What does Annalise want? And who will make it off the mountain alive?

📚 Fans of Ruth Ware, Lucy Foley, and Freida McFadden—this one’s for you.

⚠️ Read it with the lights on. And maybe avoid cabins. Or tea. Or both. ⚠️
