Ruby's plans for Oxford are dashed and her relationship with James has come to a close. But James is willing to fight for Ruby's dreams.

The final installment in the Maxton Hall novels brings back favorite characters while also exposing the motivations behind others. Well-written despite being about those that are a bit too young to act as they do. I could not tell this was a translation.

Thank you to Berkley Publishing Group and Net Galley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

This book was a delightful return to the world of Ruby, James, Ember, and the rest of the crew. As the final installment in the trilogy, it’s crucial to read the series in order to fully appreciate the journey. It made for an easy, enjoyable escape! Huge thanks to NetGalley for the chance to see how everything comes together in the end. I'm completely in love with this trilogy—while I’m sad to see it conclude, the ending was beautifully done. My heart feels full and content. A definite five-star read!

I loved the first Maxton Hall book, but this one didn’t quite hit the same. The story dragged at times, and too many POVs made it hard to stay fully invested. Ruby and James were still strong together, with James finally standing up to his father, which was satisfying. The romance and chemistry were enjoyable, and there were some fun, emotional moments, but overall it wasn’t as engaging as I’d hoped.

The third and final installment wraps up all of the loose ends of the trilogy decently well! In this book we get more character points of view, providing a well-rounded perspective as the plot finishes with an epilogue of our beloved characters post-Maxton Hall. Getting to see the action from Alistair, Wren, Ember and even Graham's standpoint made the story more rich and engaging to read.

Although I feel as if some of the sub-plots could have had more detail, or even deserved another book. The ending also felt a tad rushed with the main plot wrapping up in the last 10% of the book. Overall, I'm glad our James and Ruby get their happy ever after. This English translation has truly been a gift.

Thank you Net Galley and Berkley Publishing for this arc in exchange for an honest review!

Save Us was the perfect finale to the Maxton Hall series, and it delivered all the drama, romance, and emotion I had been waiting for. Ruby and James’s relationship had been through so many ups and downs, and this book tied everything together in a way that felt both satisfying and heartfelt.
I loved how Ruby’s determination to fight for her future shone through, even when it seemed like everything was stacked against her. James’s struggle to break free from his father’s grip added so much tension, and it was impossible not to root for him as he tried to prove that he could be more than his family’s expectations. Their bond felt deeper and more genuine than ever, and every scene between them had that perfect mix of passion and vulnerability.
The side characters also got their moments to shine, making the story feel full and well-rounded. The pacing kept me hooked, and the emotional highs and lows made the ending feel like an earned happily ever after.
This was a fun, emotional, and thoroughly satisfying conclusion that made me fall in love with Ruby and James all over again. A fantastic ending to a binge-worthy series.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

What an ending to this series. Everyone got exactly what they deserved. Even Mr Beaufort. Finally. James finally gets to be his own person and follow his own dreams. Ruby gets the man she loves. Lydia and the rest of their friends also get everything they wanted. Loved this 💥

I loved this series and this was a magnificent end to the trilogy! Mona Kasten's storytelling is very addicting and captivated me each minute.

I loved this book series and the tv show adaptation so much! It’s definitely one of my favorite contemporary romances!!

For this book specifically, it was a little slower for me compared to the other two. I feel like this partly had to do with me starting school again and not having as much time to read. However, I’ve slowly been working my way through and still really enjoyed it!

This book had a lot of interesting turns and plot points that I wasn’t expecting! I think the plot wrapped up the series pretty well. However, I did feel like the ending was a little bit rushed and that there were some filler moments throughout the book. This series probably could’ve been a duology.

For the romance, I still love James and Ruby. I loved how their relationship really matured in this book. I like that while the author did include a little bit of spice, she still made sure they had a strong emotional connection fueled by trust and friendship within their relationship.

As for the other romances: I loved Lydia and Graham. Lydia is still my favorite character from this whole series and I loved her development so so much! I didn’t really care for Ember and Wren’s story however, they definitely got better by the end and I think Ember matured a lot more in this book as well.

I feel like there is still some information missing. Such as what ever happened with Lin and Cyril? I’m also still wondering what went on with Percy and James/Lydia’s mother that was alluded to at the end? Definitely a little rushed and some plot holes at times.

Overall, I still enjoyed this book and really loved the series! Definitely recommend if you like contemporary romance and are interested I watching or enjoyed the tv show!!

Thank you to the publisher for gifting me an e-arc of this book!

What an incredible journey this book has been! I thoroughly enjoyed it and hate that the series has come to an end.

The final installment of the Maxton Hall series was an emotional roller coaster. It not only continued James and Ruby's story but also delved deeper into Lydia and Graham, Ruby's sister Ember, and several members of the friend group. Packed with emotional drama, a touch of suspense, and incredibly well-written characters, I couldn't help but fall in love with these people.

Although this series has been out for a while, it's just now being released in English. Amazing work by Mona Kasten, and a big thank you to NetGalley for the ARCs.

I absolutely love this series and would recommend to any young teen who wants a romance but nothing too graphic.

I cannot believe that it’s over!!

Ever since I watched the first season of the Maxton Hall show I’ve been dying to read the books. I feel so lucky to have been able to receive ARCs for all three books in the series.

The cliffhanger at the end of book two was incredible and I couldn’t wait to dive right into the third book as soon as my request for it was accepted. I loved how the third book picks up exactly where the second one left off. it really lets you jump right back into the best of the moment so easily.

I think this was the most “lovey-dovey” versions of James and Ruby that we’ve seen in the series despite all of the drama happening around them. At this point in the series they are finally at place where their trust in each other is sure and strong and I love it. I liked that this series didn’t drag out their romance. It let them be together, but we got to explore the obstacles that they would face particularly with James’s dad Mortimer (who is the true villain here).

Once again we get more POV chapters. We get the usual Ruby and James as well as the added Ember and Lydia POVs from the last book. Book three, however, also adds Graham and Alastair as additional POV chapters which I found so interesting. There’s not many chapters from their perspective, but when it does happen it’s very crucial to the story. The structure behind these books and balancing whose perspective we get at a specific time is very meticulous and meaningful. I think Mona did a brilliant job with giving readers a well-rounded story, but also not overloading the prose with too many narratives.

I’ve grown to love Lydia so much. We don’t really get the chance to know her very well in the first book and I’ve loved getting her perspective in the last two books. She’s gone through so much and to see how far she’s come in her journey was wonderful. I can’t wait to see how her story translates to the screen.

I don’t want to talk about any specific scenes in this book just yet because I don’t want to spoil anything for the tv series, but I truly cannot wait to see how some of my favorite scenes will look on screen! Season one did an excellent job of staying true to the book and I can only hope that continues.

I think the only thing about this book that bothered me was the way Ember’s subplot felt a little too rushed. I feel like her little story could’ve been fleshed out more over the course of the novel, but the ending for her story felt too fast. I found myself growing frustrated with her even though I’ve loved her character so much. The pacing simply felt a bit off for me during the Ember chapters, but that didn’t take away from the book as a whole.

This book made me laugh and cry. I felt their pain and their happiness and their sadness. Each character has gone through so much and I can’t believe the whole series takes place over one year.

I cannot wait for the rest of the series to be out in the world! Mainly so that I can have my own physical copies to annotate as I see fit!

The first book titled Save Me is out now in its new English translation with book two titled Save You coming very soon in September 2nd! That leaves everyone plenty of time to get ready for season 2 later this year!

Book three titled Save Us releases November 4th just before season 2 releases so if you are impatient like me and need to know what happens next, then get your hands on this one asap!

A million thank you’s to Netgalley and Berkley Publishing for hearing my cries and giving me this ARC! (truly if I had to wait until November for book three I might’ve spontaneously combusted after that cliffhanger!)

I read this whole thing in one flight. Once again, WTF is Lydia's storyline. I appreciated the more Succession-y vibes of this one (Mortimer Beaufort is truly the worst) and that we got this with minimum will they/won't they angst. I can appreciate the turn this story took but there were so many loose ends that I'm still wishing we got the answers to. Overall, while I don't think I'll be purchasing the book, I will be watching the show!

Ahhhhh…I’m so in love with this trilogy and I’m sad it’s over but it wraps up so beautifully and my heart is so full and happy! Five Fantastic Stars!

We get the last book in the trilogy and whewwwww…..we go through the gamet of emotions. We get a little bit of everyone’s POV and it’s such an emotional rollercoaster.

James and Ruby are trying to navigate their lives and all the road blocks or really manipulations. But these two lean on one another to fight for their love. They fight for their future. And it’s so beautiful to read. Their love will conquer all!

Ember and Wren figure out themselves through all the changes. And Wren changes his stripes and gives Ember everything she needs.

Lydia and Graham are so strong.

All the characters have grown so much. They all take over their lives and each fight for what they want. And they will stop at nothing to get there. I will miss this “family”.

Thank you to Berkley and NetGalley for the advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are solely mine.

save us was such a satisfying finale to the maxton hall trilogy. it tied together all the messy drama, heartbreak, and romance in a way that felt complete, but also left me wishing i could stay with these characters a little longer. ruby and james’s story has been emotional from the start, and this book gave them the growth and closure they deserved.

i really loved seeing james step into his own and finally stand up for himself, especially against the pressures of his family. ruby, as always, was strong, steady, and the kind of character you can’t help but root for. together, they’ve been through so much, and watching them come out on top felt like the perfect payoff.

i also appreciated the multiple perspectives sprinkled throughout. some of them added a nice layer to the story and gave insight into side characters i had grown attached to along the way. at times, though, i did feel like the focus strayed a bit too far from ruby and james, who were always the heart of the series for me.

pacing-wise, the ending did feel a little rushed—there were a lot of revelations packed in at the last moment—but the emotional impact still landed. it was bittersweet closing the final page, because as much as i loved the way everything wrapped up, i wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye.

overall, this was a heartfelt, emotional, and dramatic ending that delivered exactly what i wanted: love, resilience, and a true sense of closure. the maxton hall trilogy will definitely stick with me, and it’s one i could see myself revisiting whenever i want to relive all the tension and romance again.

There is a lot more character development for side characters here and they are highlighted a lot more, and going through their own issues. But some of the side stories felt like they were there to add filler and I found myself not caring too much about a lot of them.

This is a very easy read with simple writing, but something about it is addicting, it's apparent why this book series is now adapted into a tv show, it reads perfectly for a teen drama.

Man, everyone is way too forgiving, or am I just petty? Because I would be holding a grudge way longer, and I'm not talking about just one character, I mean multiple. I'm pretty certain no one here would have earned my forgiveness besides James, and maybe that just means I'm a bad person.

I really love James here, his maturity is evident, he's really grown into himself, and he seems so genuine. The author was great at making me hate Mr. Beaufort. And Ruby remained to be just as likeable as the previous two books.

Toward the end I found myself getting really frustrated with the conversations and choices these characters were making, and everything wrapped up very quickly.

Save Us is the 3rd and final installment in the Maxton Hall series. It picks up immediately where Save You ended. We get even more POVs in this one, but they are all distinct and easy to keep separated. There were times where I wished that James and Ruby got more on page time. I missed my babies!

Ruby's life is upside-down after the cliffhanger at the end of Save You. Everyone else is also going through some sort of strife, but things are resolved by the end. The ending did maybe feel a little rushed as new information was dropped in at around 85%. I still enjoyed the read and can't wait to see the adaptation brought to TV!

Thanks to Berkley and NetGalley for an eARC of this book for an honest review.

This book, the third and final book in the Maxton Hall trilogy, starts where the second book ended. Ruby and Graham have been set up, and someone has sent modified pictures to Lexington. Graham is fired, and Ruby is suspended, upending her whole life plan of attending Oxford. This one switches POV between so many characters, which can get a little overwhelming at times, but I also liked being able to see what each character was thinking. Alot of things are happening in this story, but I was never confused, and I feel like this one wrapped up the trilogy perfectly. I am sad that it is over, but it will definitely be a series that I will reread. 4.5/5

I liked the closure but didn't enjoy this one as much as the first two. What I assumed would happen, happened but not in any exciting way. 🤷‍♀️ There were also so many POVs that I would have to scroll back to see who's view I was in. With that many POV, I feel like it could have been more, as in more books and a little more in depth.

Still love the series though and will continue to recommend it. Now to watch the series!

Thank you Netgalley & Berkeley for an ARC.
