2 ⭐️ Unfortunately for me this book was tough to get through - the chemistry of our two main characters I found lacking, and there was a level of immaturity that I found it hard to relate with. I loved the original story but for me, the books don’t live up to the hype!

OK.....best trilogy I've read in a really long time. Whoever adapted this into English.....I love you and I'm so grateful I was approved for these books. This was the best way to end this series. Ruby and James' relationship is one I had such a love/hate relationship with in books 1 and 2 but book 3 made me love them together!! James maturing and finally standing up to his father was everything I had hoped for and more. The perfect amount of spice, laughs, and tugging on my heartstrings was a perfect balance of emotions in this book. Now that I've finished the books....I'm gonna watch the series. Huge thanks to Berkeley for approving me for all 3 of these books!!

An emotional rollercoaster has been increasing in waves in the first two books, and comes to an explosive finale in the final book of the trilogy. Just wow - complex and compulsive, you might get angry at times, sad, frustrated, and in the end elated. Quite the ride.

This story is full of tension, heartbreak, and ultimately, hope. Ruby and James face seemingly impossible obstacles—family pressures, misunderstandings, and the risk of losing everything they’ve worked for—but their love never wavers. Watching them fight for each other, support one another, and overcome every challenge was both emotional and inspiring. In the end, their love conquers all, proving that true connection can survive even the toughest trials. I absolutely loved this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys heartfelt romance with strong characters and a love story that truly triumphs.

What a great way to end the Maxton Hall trilogy! The character arcs were so good. These little babies grew so, so much, and I loved watching it. Ruby & James forever. This series continues to be soap opera / reality tv rich kid drama, and I love it so much. The books are so easy to read, but they seriously suck you in. I loved getting the additional POVs, everyone got their HEA, and the wrap up was complete and satisfying. A great YA / coming of age drama! Can't wait for more of the TV Show too!

I loved this series the first time around in Spanish and it’s even more epic in English!!! So grateful I got early access to these. My heart breaks in all the ways for these characters. But glad they got the ending they got

This really wrapped but the trilogy well. My love for Ruby and James just continued to grow. Also Mortimer, man is a VILLAIN. Like so wrong and just stuck thinking he knows what is best when really it’s hurting his family.
The ending though is what was great. Lydia having her babies and being happy with Graham. Ruby and James being together and being supportive of each others dreams was chefs kiss. James wanting to travel and being able to do so was amazing. Lydia having her babies and once old enough she’d go and work at Beaufort, AMAZING.
Lastly the amount of different POV’s was great. Understanding the characters being read about on their level since it’s their perspective was something I really enjoyed. It gave new light to the main characters and what was happening around them.

3.5 ⭐️
This series started off so strong for me where I was OBSESSED. By the time we got to the third book, the stakes were slower and the conflict felt drawn out. We have Ruby and James working together and basically dealing with the Beaufort drama. I loved all the other POVs we got and seeing Lydia and Graham start to come together made me happy. It just felt slow and I wasn't as invested. I feel like this could have been a duology. However, everyone got their nice little happy ending tied in a bow.

3.25 stars, 1.5 spice
Thank you to Berkley for the e-arc!
Man, I wanted to like this more. I am still so excited to watch the show, but this was fell a little short for me.
The drama in this one just didn't hit as hard for me. Ruby and James have really figured their stuff out in this one, and we finally get to see James standing up to his dad.
We get more POVs versus the previous books, but I just felt that the secondary relationships just weren't developed enough, they're more brushed over.
and the final climax drama felt resolved so quickly for being the ending to the whole series.
I think if you are a huge fan of the show and you're dying to know what drama is coming, definitely read the books, or better yet listen to them. (I really enjoyed the audio of the first which is out!)
I do think that at this point the show is actually better than the books.

This one was just like the show on Netflix this book was so easy to read you forgot about everything else and just kept reading until you finished 😅😅

I recently read Save Us by Mona Kasten and really enjoyed it! The characters pulled me in right from the start, and the mix of drama, romance, and emotion kept me hooked until the very last page. A satisfying conclusion to the series.

What a fantastic end to the Maxton Hall trilogy! I can't get over the depth of these characters' arcs. THIS is how you do character growth, while keeping characters *in* character. I love these characters and this story so much; it is everything I love in coming-of-age and YA.
Can't recommend enough. SO grateful to Berkley and Netgalley for treating me with ARCs!

I love these books from Mona Kasten. They were worth the wait to have them published in English. I look forward to reading more of her books.

This series is very entertaining and I'm very excited to see it in the TV show however the writing is just not working for me in this one.

Overall I enjoyed this book. The cliffhanger from the second title did not hit quite like I hoped it would. However I liked seeing the growth in multiple characters.
One tiny complaint I had with the writing was that it was mostly in British English, but every so often an American English term would be used. For example, at one point it was miles instead of kilometers.
However, I still enjoyed it and I’m glad to have read the entire trilogy. I’m excited to see if Amazon prime keeps going and if it stays true to the story.

Thank you NetGalley and Mona Kasten for an advanced readers copy of Save Us in exchange for my honest review.
Okay so, as you know, Ruby is very type A personality which I LOVE. So you want to know what the sweetest moment in the book was to me? When Ruby told James she gave him his own color in her organization journal 😭 like why did that have me giggling and kicking my feet?! It was just so oddly adorable.
I will say my only pet peeve with this book is it felt like we got off course a bit from who the story is originally about. I love all the side characters but felt like all the extra POV's took away from our main couple. So many times we got a side character POV and I just wanted more Ruby/James moments.
Other than that, I still love this series!

And that’s a wrap on Maxton Hall!
I really enjoyed this series, and I’m very excited that Maxton Hall was renewed for a third season! I could really see how much the characters have grown since book 1, and how they continue to stand up for and choose themselves. I also really appreciated the found family of this friend group.
I really loved how everything worked out in the end! Loved seeing everyone get their HEA. There are definitely some side characters who I’d love to get more of their stories.
If you’re a fan of gossip girl or pretty little liars, I think you’ll really like Maxton Hall, and highly recommend reading the books before jumping into the show!
Thank you so much Berkeley via NetGalley for the eARC! The English translation of Save Us is available November 4 (just in time for season 2 of Maxton Hall)!

This last novel of the Maxton Hall series was really great! It made me feel emotional, hopeful and lighthearted. This also gave me some really good laughs. It came with vivid descriptions and a diverse cast of characters. It was romantic, where the enemies turned into lovers. The characters were all lovable! I really enjoyed the dual points of views, the forced proximity and how the opposites attracted! This also came with redemption and trust, family pressure and social pressure intensity. I could really feel the chemistry between the two main characters. I was not fully immersed while reading this. However, the book was just really hard to put down! This romance also comes with a moderate spicy level and a wonderful ending! Overall, I rate this book a 3.5 out of 5 stars!
I think people that would enjoy this book would be a fan of the romance genre. Also, readers that have watched “Maxton Hall” on Amazon Prime would love to read this book! Content warnings include abuse, death, explicit sexual content and grief.
Thank you to NetGalley, author Mona Kasten and Berkley Publishing Group | Berkley for this eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
This updated version of this book is expected to be published on November 4, 2025!

Can’t believe this series is finally over! This one picks right from the final conflict in Book 2, so there will be Book 1/Book 2 spoilers in this review!
I adored the drama, new POVs, and the continuation of Ruby and James’s relationship. I also liked LydiaGraham and would have loved to see more of Wren and Ember. I know these were just meant to be side romances but I was surprisingly invested in them since the second book. Ruby and James were so good together in this, and I liked their chemistry more than the first two books. I liked how they worked through the new issues that came up in this book, though there were a few moments that were frustrating.
James’s father was so insufferable and I’ve got to give the author some credit for writing such an unlikeable character. I did appreciate the reconciliation of all the friendships in this and wanted to see more of AlistairKeshav’s story. The friend’s POVs were interesting and I feel like their characters had a lot of potential through their backstories.
My main gripe about this was how the ending and plot felt very rushed, especially with the storyline spread out over a trilogy. I did find the plot revealing surprising but I feel like it was introduced too late at that point. Because of that, it didn’t feel like the conclusion I wanted. I was left with wanting more closure and was also expecting more development from everyone.
These books aren’t perfect, of course. But this was still quite entertaining and very fun to read! I would definitely want to read more of this author’s works and I think there’s still a lot of potential. The writing is easy to understand and it was paced well. The elite academic setting, wealthy characters, and drama made this very bingeable.
The TV show is actually well adapted and done better in my opinion. I’m excited to see how everything else will be adapted on screen!
Thank you so, so much to Berkley and the author for this opportunity to read the entire series!

After so many things are left up in the air Ruby struggles to find her way and hang on to her dream of Oxford. Did James really try to take that away from her? Could he really be that cruel? Or is something else at play?
In this third and final installment Save Us brings us back into the complicated and always emotionally charged lives of James and Ruby. Ruby is fighting to keep her dream of Oxford alive and James finds himself fighting to save his reputation and battle the demons of his troubled past. It's a battle that is going to be tough for sure, but they are determined to do it together. But they must find a way to keep outside forces at bay too...
This book really had it all, but most of all it showed us the personal growth of this young couple and gave us a real sense of appreciation for their dedication to one another. Even when outside forces tried to keep them apart and cause self doubt. I enjoyed this trilogy, it's words kept me engaged and fully invested in the lives of these wonderfully drawn characters the whole way through. It was a enjoyable escape for me, one that squeezed my heart in all the best ways! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, via NetGalley request, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
