ARC Review

Great start to a series. Pam is having trouble with her dog Bob and her neighbor Tyler is there to help. The relationship between Pam and Tyler is just in the fledgling state, but it is really their mutual love of their dogs that shines in this first volume. The book hints at further struggles and past problems that are likely to be addressed in later volumes, but this first volume does a great job of introducing the central characters and providing emotional connection.

The art is pretty good and I like how it changes to highlight large emotions and comedic moments.

Would definitely recommend and plan to check out volume 2 when it drops.

Thank you Netgalley and Webtoon for the ARC!

Thank you NetGalley and Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

The first volume of Love 4 a Walk is a cute introduction to the series! We follow Pam who is struggling with her Doberman, Bob's separation anxiety when she leaves for work every day. Pam's neighbor, Tyler, offers to train Bob and to keep him company during the day while she is at work. Pam and Tyler both have past relationship trauma, and both swore off dating to just focus on their dogs. However, over time, they start to fall for each other the more time they spend together.

The romance between Pam and Tyler happens pretty fast, but there is no denying their chemistry. They both are rounded, complex characters who have their own personal struggles to work through. However, Tyler is still a mysterious character, as we still don't know too much about him, which I hope gets explored in future volumes.

The artwork is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. However, there were times where I was confused on which panel comes next, but that may be because it was an e-arc rather than a physical copy.

If you are looking for a grumpy/sunshine romance and a story revolved around dogs, I highly suggest you check this out!

Love 4 a Walk was a Webtoon I missed in my era of reading Webtoons, however it was so cute and had me giggling and kicking my feet a majority of the time! Both the main characters love their lil dogs so much and it's so wholesome to see them interact both with each other as well as the pooches. Any miscommunications throughout the first volume for the most part get talked through and all in all it was a great read!! I'll be excitedly waiting for volume 2!

thank you netgalley and WEBTOON for the ARC.

this was so cute. i could see the plot being in a fun romcom novel. i have not read any of the webtoon. i may continue the series, it's hard to tell with the first in a series. i like the art. i'm curious about the characters emotional baggage and if we go more into depth about that. 3.25 ⭐️

As someone that is a fan of Love 4 a walk on WebToon I was pleasantly suprised to not only see the ARC on NetGalley, but to get approved!

So thank you to NetGalley and WebToon Wattpad for the chance to read this wonderful adaptation of a cute, cozy, heartwarming webcomic. The story focuses on two neighbors that couldn't be more different. A working girl who can't control her dog, and a night owl looking to help. These two both are dealing with their own heartbreak and finding that falling in love isn't a walk in the park.

I loved the art style before and I continue to love it in this new format. I always have a hard time adjusting to webtoon to comic books, but I do think this one made a very well done transition. The characters really come to life and just like when I was reading it for the first time I couldn't put it down!

I love Pam and Tyler, and how they both are trying to figure out life together. (Plus I love that they start off as friends and move to something more). Plus Tequila and Bob (their loveable dogs) make for such a nice addition to this story.

Definitely recommend this story to all, but keep reading for more. The story is worth it!

Very cute, very sweet, but also surprisingly emotional. Full disclosure, I am not a "dog person" per se, but I love animals and understand the bond a human forms with their pet(s). This first volume introduces us to the characters and their dogs and starts what I'm sure will be a very romantic story. I went into this thinking it would be more of a comedy with a potentially shallow story/romance, but it does introduce some pretty serious topics while still being a lighthearted story overall. I'm excited to see where this story goes!

Art was beautiful.

Pam is pure sunshine. She's loud, optimistic, and fiercely loyal, especially when it comes to Bob. I respected how she always fought for Bob, even choosing him over her ex. That bond really gave the story the heartfelt connection. Tyler is definitely a grump. But underneath, he shows his kindness and patience with Pam and his dog, Tequila. It was a very interesting balance between the two.

What I appreciated was that Tyler offered to help Pam not out of ulterior motives, but simply because she was loud. It felt genuine especially as someone that lives in an apartment. Their back and forth had me laughing out loud.

I did feel some parts were underdeveloped. Tyler's backstory didn't feel fleshed out, and sometimes Pam's behavior came across as a little immature for her age. Still, I loved seeing her stand up to her ex.

Overall, this was a fun, lighthearted read. I will be continuing with the series.

“Love 4 a Walk: Vol. 1” by Nuria Sanguino

4⭐️/5⭐️

A super cute first installment in the popular webtoon series. I briefly read a few chapters, but never from the beginning, so being able to read this first volume was a treat.

It’s got comedy, a hint at romance, and some very cute dogs. Pam is neighbors with Tyler, and she struggles with giving her dog enough attention with how busy she works out of the home. Tyler offers to dog sit, and through their devotion to their pets, a sweet little romance starts to take root. You can tell these two have some very natural chemistry, I can tell subsequent volumes will be just as fun to read as this one.

I'm going to be honest and say I'm still thinking about this story and whether or not I like it or it's just fine. It's probably a 3.5 star for me. At first I didn't think I'd like the FMC, but maybe that's because she's a lot like myself in regards to her "bad qualities" and it made me feel some type of way. But I also see the potential of this story and the direction it could go, to be fair I have not read the webtoon, but am tempted to check it out now. I do really like Tyler's character, he is the typical MMC that I enjoy in my stories.

Both of these characters have a lot of baggage and trauma - it will be nice to see all of that being sorted through in later books. It affects their communication and way they interact this this volume, and while I didn't "enjoy" their fight I guess it's something that could have happened in real life. Even though I think it was a little bit of a dramatic response on the side of both characters.

This will not be a series I'll be able to purchase for my library as we only have YA manga, and this story while not going there in this volume, probably will go there at some point.

Thank to #NetGalley for an advance e-copy of #Love4aWalkVol1 to read and review.

"Love 4 A Walk" is AMAZING! The story is not only cute, but it has depth. The two main characters are ride-and-die dog lovers. Pam is a cherub-like woman who is in love with, well, love. She saw how much her parents love each other, and that flipped something in her, a need to find a pure love like theirs. Sadly, she's naive. After agreeing to adopt a dog together - an adorkable Doberman named Bob, Pam and her (now ex) boyfriend had a falling out. He demanded she choose between him and the dog. She chose the doggo.

Tyler is her handsome neighbor. He has a Shih Tzu named Tequila. After a rather funny meet-cute, he ends up training Bob while Pam is at work during the day. We get a glimpse into his relationship trauma, but not as much as we get with Pam. Still, this is a good guy who's also sworn off relationships like Pam has.

The interactions between Tyler and Pam felt realistic, especially given their personalities. I also need to mention Pam's BFF/coworker Ann. That woman is hilarious yet a true friend who wants the best for her buddy. I enjoyed every scene with Ann, too. I laughed out loud during a particular scene, but I'll leave that for you to discover.

Overall, this is a romantic comedy worth checking out. I need to get my hands on the next volume. This story is for all the pet lovers (especially for dogs) who know just how pure hearted animals are, and for those who put in the work to raise a happy and healthy pet. Bonus for readers who love romance and want good characters to get a happily ever after.

Thanks Netgalley for the review copy.

Read this!!!! An adorable, slow-burn romance that involves dogs. I adore the characters, the humorous moments, and the opposites attract trope. It begins with Pam being given an ultimatum from her boyfriend: It's me or the dog. Thankfully, she makes the right choice, and though her pupper isn't the most well-behaved, she luckily has a neighbor who is pretty good at training.

When I heard this was a Webtoon, meaning I could get more of it now, I immediately checked it out and am still enjoying their story and the hijinks that the pups, and owners, get into.

Thank you Webtoon Unscrolled for the free copy to review!!

This was a cute start to a series! Both of the main characters definitely have some emotions to work through from past relationships/experiences...but I love how they're starting out and bonding over their love of their dogs. Very cute and I can't wait to read more!

Thank you to Netgalley, Edelweiss, and Webtoon Unscrolled for the opportunity to read and review this Graphic Novel. This was a really adorable first volume to a series. If you are a dog lover and enjoy neighbor romances, this is for you. I think its going to be one that when I need something cute and adorable and low stakes drama, I will continue on. Because of these points, I have to give this a solid 4 out of 5 stars

This was such a cute read! I love the story and how it flows! I can't wait to read vol 2! I love the dogs, the backstory and the quirky characters. My only problem is the MMC seems to have different body shapes when he's showing his top half vs full body. I can't wait to learn more about the ex girlfriend who is a vet(?).

It's a SUPER fun story, I really liked it, Tyler and Pam's interactions are the best haha, I'm definitely going to keep reading this webtoon!

Thanks Webtoon Unscrolled / netgalley for the arc

Love 4 a Walk is an insanely cute comic about two opposites who are brought together by their love of their dogs. Our female main character- Pam has a doberman named Bob and our male main character Tyler who has a cute tiny dog named Tequila.

Tyler agrees to help Pam with her overactive dog and in turn they both become closer, sharing numbers and apartment keys. From there it is clear they have a bit of chemistry (Yay!) Tyler even goes as far as helping Pam with her ex-boyfriend who is a total….

While this does end in a cliffhanger and is seemingly a slow burn, the story and artwork are beautiful. The story is well thought out and cohesive with a few twists and turns (and yearning). I think it is safe to say that I am HOOKED when it comes to this series. I look forward to reading volume 2!!

This is a hilarious slow burn romance about a tattooed hot neighbor with an overprotective Shizu and a woman with a Doberman who has a habit of falling in love at 1st sight. He ends up training Bob, and Bobby is absolutely adorable AF. The illustrations were gorgeous and colorful, and the story was so good that I need vol 2 ASAP!

This is my honest opinion of the ARC I received. Thank you to the author, Weebtoon Unscrolled, and NetGalley for the opportunity.
