This is a short and very cute graphic novel about three of the puppies from 101 Dalmatians and how much they really want to be like their doggy hero Thunderbolt. Their dad takes them out to a farm so they can learn and while learning, they also help keep the farm safe. If your kid is a fan of 101 Dalmatian, they are going to like this. It’s short, it’s sweet, it’s to the point, and I really like the art choices that were made. Plus, there is a preview for D for Dalmatian in the back and I think that is an even better looking graphic novel that I can’t wait to read.

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in exchange for a honest review. I promise my review is 100% accurate to me.
Cute wholesome graphic novel with familiar faces. I really enjoyed reading this and look forward to more

Thank you to NetGalley and PaperCutz for the ARC of 101 Dalmatians: Lucky’s Guard!
This was such a cute and fun story! It’s all about a group of pups who want to be superheroes and learn how to help others. What I really liked was the message that when you’re learning something new, there’s often a chance to put those skills into practice in real life.
While the pups were doing their training, they heard some cats in trouble—and ended up helping them for real! Later, they also worked together to catch some mischievous bunnies. Even though the pups were arguing a bit at the start, they figured out how to work as a team in the end, which I think is a great message for kids.
This book is playful, adventurous, and full of teamwork and heart. A great pick for young readers who love animals and want to see kindness and cooperation in action!

Oh, this is so cute. Little Dalmatian Lucky watches a TV show with a superhero dog Thunderbolt, and wants to be like him. So, his father takes him and two of his siblings to go visit Sergeant Tibbs and Colonel at the farm. The dog and cat are supposed to put the 'Cadet' Dalmatians through tests, instead, first the doggos help save some kittens, and then, they solve the mystery of the eaten carrots. As I said, it was super cute, and, a definitely awesome comic for the kiddos. So funny.

Thought it was super cute and still captured the feel of the old 101 Dalmatians, so Disney fans old and new won't get disappointed. Actually would work well with dog lovers in general.

I would like to give a huge thank you to @netgalley and @papercutz publishing which give me the opportunity to review new stories that I can add to my classroom library.
Lucky’s Guard was a charming graphic novel that gave me tons of nostalgia from my own childhood. I loved everything about it. The author captured the characteristics of Lucky, Rolly and Penny wonderfully as well as the other characters. I can’t wait to add this graphic novel into my classroom library. I just know my students will enjoy reading it.
