Rockstar/musician romances arent normally my forte but I saw so much hype around this book that I had to read it! I was given an audiobook arc off Netgalley and I loved it! The narrators did a fabulous job and the fact it was dual narration with the VA switching depending on who was talking was so good!
April and James are both quite realistic and likeable characters. Their emotions and banter seems so natural and their chemistry was amazing.
James was very thoughtful and selfless while April was a ray of sunshine. April's friends definitely stole the show though, their jokes and banter was so cute and really showed the true meaning of girlhood.
The spice was hitting and their chemistry was soooo good! I just hope I never have to hear the word 'Sopping' used for being wet ever again :)

Sadly this was a DNF for me at about 40mins - I don't want to read about the two MCs eye fudging each other after her current fiancé went down on her literally 30 secs. The narrators were great with what they were working with - I gave this an extra star just for them.
I am really sorry but this just wasn't for me. I am sure that there are a huge number of people that will gobble this up like its a chocolate fudge sundae (I don't know why I am obsessed with fudge at the moment) so maybe you should give it a try and see how you go.
Thank you Netgalley and Hachette Audio for the e-audiobook and because its been a strange week, I have given an honest review

I listened to this on audio and appreciate the opportunity.
I debated whether to DNF this multiple times but it’s against my nature to not finish, so I’ll provide a brief review only.
I struggled with the idea of this being a forbidden romance when it wasn’t, the sense of cliche (from characters to tropes), the sense of overly verbose descriptions about the mundane, and most importantly a lack of chemistry between the characters.
I felt the narrators tried incredibly hard to ‘make’ the relationship though. Props to them with what they had to work with.
Again, thank you for the opportunity. I rarely rate books so low on this platform and can find things to rely upon as strengths but wanted to be transparent about my areas of struggle.

This was a cute and super steamy debut from Tierney Page, but if you've followed her on TikTok of Insta you already knew that this book would bring the heat!
My favourite part of the book (other than the romance) was the group of girlfriends she has and how supportive and amazing they were of each other. Give us more female friendships in romance books! I also really liked the narrators, they embodied the characters perfectly.
Super steamy romances aren't my usual go to but I know Maddy will love this one and so will many other people! Enjoyed this one regardless and will absolutely be reading the second book! <3

- London setting
- ex-fiance's brother
- musician MMC
- found family
- no third-act breakup
- 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
- dual pov
- duet narration by Will M. Watt and Evelyn Rose
What a debut from Tierney! The Other Brother has so much going for it, and I was hooked from the very first page.
Let's start with the main trope because is there anything hotter than ex-boyfriend's brother? I think not. James is the ultimate blend of sweet and spicy. He knows April has major trust issues thanks to his brother, but he's patient, grounded, and completely transparent with her.
Then there's the setting. The London vibes are immaculate, and they had me itching to book a trip back! What makes this story shine even more is the incredible found family. Every side character adds something, but Gemma completely steals the show. I need her book immediately. She's chaos in the best way.
And can we appreciate that there's no third-act breakup? Just healthy communication and two people fulfilling their dreams together. It's refreshing and satisfying in the best way.
Now let's talk audiobook. I love an English accent, and Will Watt's voice? Deep, soothing, and the perfect match for James. He nails both the vulnerability and the dirty talk (a skill, honestly). Evelyn does a beautiful job as April, capturing her strength, softness, and sass. The duet narration is the cherry on top of this already delicious romance.
A fantastic debut that blends heat, heart, and humour. I can't wait to see what Tierney does next.
Thank you to Hachette for the physical and audio copies 💖.

3.5 stars
The audio for this is amazing!! The narrators were perfect!! Will Watt is *chefs kiss* 😍🥵
The storyline was just lacking something for me and I was expecting more from the spicy scenes.
Overall I enjoyed it, and a good debut for this author!

Oh my! Loved it! So hot 🔥
I was exited to read Tierney’s debut story and to listen to it by audiobook was even better.
This duet narration performed by Will M Watt and Evelyn Rose made for easy listening and was really enjoyable.
Now to the story -
I loved it, James came across as a dark sexy man with a heart of gold.
Definitely swoon worthy and a musician to boot.
That he happened to be April’s fiancé’s brother was but a small complication.
April was a stunning woman with a heart of gold who came across as not so confident in relationships with men.
She was devastated when she caught her fiancé out and her perfect world as she knew it, shattered.
Luckily she has amazing and hilarious best friends to help her move on.
Finding themselves constantly together at times James and April form a friendship that later becomes more.
A fun, sexy, hot story of two people finding that they mean more to each other than they ever could have possibly imagined.
I’m looking forward to the next story in the series.
Thank you to Tierney Page, NetGalley and Hachette Australia Audio for the audiobook.

An ex-fiancé’s brother, a rockstar romance? Say less. This was HOT!!! I’m already a huge fan of Tierney’s content, so I was beyond excited to dive into this one, and boy oh boy did it deliver.
The audiobook? Incredible. James’s accent was doing everything, and I was fully obsessed. I also absolutely loved Gemma; she's one of my favourite side characters ever, and I seriously can’t wait for her book.
Unpacking James’s heart slowly but surely was so wholesome. He was soft, loving, and so attentive to April. On the other hand… The Other Brother, I hate everything about him.
If you’re after a spicy, drama-filled, low-effort (in the best way) romance read, this one’s for you!

I don't know what Tierney Page put in this book but I ate it up in less than a day. Somebody give that girl pen and paper because I NEED MORE. The Other Brother checked all my romance boxes: funny dialogue, relatable characters, scream-worthy tension, and spice that will make even a seasoned smut reader giggle and kick their feet.
Despite being full of beloved tropes, nothing about this book felt old or overdone, and everything from the characters to the settings felt new and exciting. James wasn't the typical bad-boy archetype; he was soft, caring, supportive, and actually listened to his friends and family. That said, every time he opened his mouth my knees went weak. Like what do you mean this Adonis can sing beautifully one minute and say absolutely filthy things the next?? April is stronger than me because I would have been locked in from the moment I saw him hold a guitar.
The ex-fiancé's brother element was the perfect tension. With April battling her own feelings for James out of guilt, every interaction between the two became positively electric. I wish she hadn't felt so guilty because oh boy was Lucas a narcissistic sh*thead. If someone gave me a plane ticket and a shovel I'd head over to London and start digging that man's grave. His actions and behaviours felt so heartbreakingly believable, especially in this technological age, and comparing his lying, cheating ass to swoony, musically gifted, bad-boy-with-a-heart-of-gold James made falling for the other brother so easy.
I cannot believe this is a debut. Tierney Page deserves to be right up there alongside great romance authors like Ana Huang, Tessa Bailey, Elle Kennedy, and Lyla Sage, and I'm so excited to see where this series goes. On that note, if Gemma doesn't get her own story, I will WEEP! That girl needs to find a decent man after her run of bad luck. I need more London romance drama in my life!
Also, these narrators are PERFECTION. Any time there is dual narration in an audiobook it immediately makes me more invested, and I got CHILLS listening to these two bring The Other Brother to life. They brought depth and clarity to the emotionally charged scenes, and then sprinkled in a delightfully feral quality to the spicy scenes. It's all about the ✨balance✨

OK Swoon; kind of desperate to hear a guy call me "sweetheart" at this point and pretty upset that non of my ex's have had bothers! This was such an enjoyable audio listen which I devoured so quickly. She's a fun, easy romance - perfect for when you want something fresh and light. The attraction between April and James felt so realistic and relatable. Not to mention the girlhood between April, Gemma and Anna gave this such a fun vibe with Tierney's humour sprinkled throughout. Outstanding for a debut novel.

Cute read, great narration. It was a perfectly average romance. We were promised forbidden romance though, and this was not that. While I appreciate this book for what it *did* actually deliver, there was no forbidden romance since both the characters were single when they got together, and it had been a significant amount of time between relationships (which is healthy, and great to see, but not what was expected. As a consequence, there wasn't much tension.
Overall really easy page turning read!
