A very informative and thorough book on understanding fertility. This book would be a great resource for anyone navigating fertility issues. The author is very compassionate and clear in her writing. It's easy to tell how experienced she is.

The Lucky Egg was an extremely informative read. As a woman who has started assisted reproductive support, I wish I had had this book in the beginning of my fertility journey. Dr. Lucky Sekhon explains things in such an easy to understand way while still instilling hope, which many medical professionals are not able to do. I really appreciated the breakdown of terminology and explanations that gave information, guidance, and hopefulness. I also liked the play on "egg" for the chapter titles, which I felt was a cute touch on a subject that can naturally feel stressful. This book validated some of the information I've learned during my fertility journey while also teaching me new information. I also like how the author included guidelines on what to look for and avoid in terms of fertility doctors/clinics. I would definitely recommend this book to others.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

The Lucky Egg by Dr. Lucky Sekhon is an absolute must-read for any woman who is just beginning to consider trying to conceive or has already started the journey. I truly believe this book will become a staple resource for fertility, standing the test of time.
While it’s easy to turn to the internet for information, it can often be overwhelming and conflicting. What sets this book apart is how comprehensively and clearly Dr. Lucky addresses all fertility questions in one place. She makes complex topics easy to understand and includes real patient examples, which really help to illustrate potential fertility challenges. The book is thoughtfully broken down, making it simple to navigate whether you're seeking specific advice or just starting to learn about your fertility.
I especially appreciated her in-depth discussion about aging and fertility — it gave me a renewed sense of hope and clarity. If I could, I’d give it 10 stars! Reading this felt like chatting with a close friend who’s also a fertility specialist — Dr. Lucky’s warm personality shines through the pages. I was so impressed that I immediately followed her on Instagram — she’s just that likable and inspiring!
This book is an invaluable resource that I will recommend to every woman on her fertility journey. Don’t hesitate — it’s a game-changer.

Honestly, such an informative, educational read. Dr. Sekhon lays out all the information simply and effectively with stories woven throughout. I wish I had this when I was younger and I will definitely be gifting copies!

This was a great informative read. The dedication page got me really choked up knowing she wrote it for her daughters. I wish I was able to read something this informative in my younger years. As someone dealing with fertility issues I’m very happy to have this resource.
