Thank you, NetGalley for this copy.
I will admit I was interested because I love wolves and thought it would be like The Wolves of Mercy Falls with the wolves but I wasn't. I didn't read all of the blurb so I had a faint idea of what it was about.
Once I got through a couple of chapters I couldn't put it down! The characters were interesting and even though Anna the main character annoyed me at times in later chapters I grew to like her and when you look back at what she has been through it is understandable.
In the middle when Anna has baby Hope I thought that bit was rushed, with her and Michael but she says in the book that life has gone so quickly, so much is happening in such a short time and that came through really well.
I am a bit spiritual and wolves do mean a lot to me. I did think the wolf would have a bigger part in the book as it is part of Anna.
I would love to see a little sequel about the sister. Very well written about trauma and addiction but I think a warning of some sort in the book about what sort as when I read the beginning I felt a bit like not picking it back up but later on when traumatic things happen it isn't sudden it shows the lead up which I think prepared myself for what is to happen.
I do think it might be dark for YA and more New Adult instead as some themes are too graphic but then again some things nowadays are introduced early in life.

I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars. I loved the way the book started, I was hooked and wanted to keep reading just from the prologue. However as the story went on I felt a bit lost on what was happening and what ages they were ect. I might re read it later to see if my opinion may have changed. However I loved the concept of this book and reading every trauma that the girls go through.
