Peaceful Parenting provides meditations, positive affirmations, and journaling prompts for each different phase of becoming and being a parent.
One of the best parts about this being an audiobook is that you actually get to practice the meditations as you listen. The author feels like a friend, mentor, therapist, etc. giving encouragement and reminding the listener that this stage IS hard and you are doing a good job.
I think this would be the perfect gift for any pregnant or postpartum moms.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for this book for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Peaceful Parenting by Latham Thomas is an ideal guide for mothers and expectant moms who want to begin a meditation practice or deepen their existing skills. This book offers 20 thoughtfully crafted meditations designed to support and empower you throughout your parenting journey.

This audiobook was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Peaceful Parenting is so much more than a meditation program—it’s a grounding, affirming companion for the often overwhelming journey of parenting. Latham Thomas offers not just tools for mindfulness, but also compassion, wisdom, and care in every track.
I loved how each meditation was tailored to specific stages and emotions we experience as parents—whether it’s preparing for birth, managing postpartum exhaustion, or just trying to stay present in the chaos of daily life. The format made it easy to return to whenever I needed a moment to reset. Some days I needed the guided visualizations; other days, it was the simple reminders to breathe and be gentle with myself that made all the difference.
Latham’s voice is warm and calming, and you can feel her decades of experience in every word. I especially appreciated the inclusion of journaling prompts and self-care tips, which helped me reflect more deeply and bring the meditations into my daily routine.
This is a resource I’ll be coming back to again and again. Whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, or actively parenting, this audiobook offers a sanctuary you can carry with you. Highly recommend for anyone looking to parent with more presence, peace, and self-compassion.

I will use this to help me with parenting my kids% it was very information. I will see if my husband wants to read it together.

As someone who experienced infertility for 4 years, had 4 pregnancy losses, and ultimately had to undergo IVF, I wish I had this during my pregnancy. I am now a new mom and 10 weeks postpartum. During my pregnancy, I was very overwhelmed by my past pregnancy experiences. These meditations would have helped me navigate those challenges with more grace and compassion for myself. Even now, not pregnant, I listened to the whole audiobook and found it supportive.
This meditation series was exactly what I didn't know I needed, especially during being 10 weeks postpartum. I found so much peace in these short sessions. They are easy to fit in my busy day. Latham Thomas is both the author and the narrator. Her voice is so calming and supportive, and she pairs that with beautiful background music that helped keep me calm and grounded.
So much stood out to me. I love how Lantham talks about what is happening in the body during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I also loved the journal prompts. They made me pause and reflect in a way that felt healing and not forced. Even with a newborn, I could find a moment to connect with myself. The movement exercises were a nice touch to get my body moving when so much of my day is spent holding my baby.
I love that this doesn't shy away from the hard parts of pregnancy and parenthood. So many resources only talk about the joys of becoming a parent, but this one acknowledges the sleepless nights, the fears and the stress. It's honest and validating. Mediation 4 in particular focused on stress. I felt seen in my anxiety and not judged for it.
I loved the affirmations, especially those for new parents. After a traumatic experience where my newborn had to be rushed to the ER at 4 days old for having an unusual temp. I blamed myself. One of the meditations helped me reframe that I wasn't a bad mother. I followed my intuition, which saved her.
This program feels like it was created with deep empathy. I hired a doula for my pregnancy and birth, and I love how Latham is a doula. You can feel her heart and passion supporting moms.
Whether you are pregnant, postpartum, or in need of a healing space, this is something I wholeheartedly reccommend.
