I think this is a fantastic book for anyone on a GLP-1 medication. I learned more in the first few pages than I have from my Dr or pharmacist since starting these medications. The simple to follow flexible meal plans and recipes are fantastic. Highly recommend‼

As someone on a GLP-1, you very quickly learn that you can no longer eat the same as you previously did, and it’s definitely a huge lifestyle change. This book gives information on GLP1s, as well as delicious recipes that make the transition so much easier. The nutrition breakdown is so handy, the recipes are simple and not over-complicated, and are super easy to follow. I have definitely saved a lot of these to try on the future!

The recipes in this book are fantastic! Most are simple and accessible ingredients which is lacking in many health focused cookbooks. Focusing on the GLP -1 patients probably isn't even necessary. But having the detailed nutritionbreak down was so helpful. These recipes would be good for anyone wanting to add more healthy meals to their menus!

When I saw this I had to check it out. I loved the recipes in here but also loved the info in the beginning.
There were so many recipes that I immediately had to save to add to my list asap!

I've been an Ozempic user for the past three years, and I've lost 90 pounds so far, which I'm very proud of. I know a lot of people look down on others for using it, but I firmly believe to each his own. No one understands how hard losing a substantial amount of weight is unless they've actually had to do it. When I saw this cookbook I was very intrigued, and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it have a ton of great recipes, but there is also a lot of valuable information about the medication for new and seasoned GLP-1 users. The photos are vibrant, and I love that the recipes don't contain a bunch of ingredients that aren't available in regular grocery stores. I look forward to trying them, and I would highly recommend this cookbook not only to GLP-1 users but to everyone because they are healthy for all.

As someone in a GlP-1 type injection, I loved finding this cookbook. It not only explains gLPs but gives good advice and recipes. Believe me when I say you cannot eat the same on a gLP-1 as you did without. Even with just smaller portions.

This is packed with no nonsense science behind GLP1 and the newer weight loss injections. It tells how these work and what side effects are possible. It also details how to avoid these by eating and drinking sensibly. It lists useful foods, food shopping lists and gives links to useful websites, such as myplate.gov.
The recipes are specific and refer to USA versions of food. This is a book to return to as an aid for weight loss diets rather than read and learn. The pictures of the foods look inviting and advice is given about how long tge food keeps, im the fridge for example.
I enjoyed the chapters on the weight loss injections best and very useful advice such as maintaining adequate nutrition and what that means.

What a great cookbook! I appreciated that this cookbook contained more information than just the recipes. There is very helpful information in the beginning about overall strategies for macronutrients. The sample weekly plans are great. And the end even includes shopping lists. The recipes look great, very simple and easy for the average home cook. There is a great mix of meals and snacks. This is one of the first cookbooks I've read through where I could see myself actually making every recipe in it.

Thank you for the ARC. I’m on a GLP-1 for the last 6 months so this cookbook was great to learn some new and health recipes. I always struggle at figuring out what to eat or cook for the family so this was helpful.
