Dalton Rains’s Ferrari is a vibrant and captivating introduction to one of the world’s most iconic sports car brands. The easy-to-read text and eye-catching photos make learning about Ferrari’s history and design feel like a fun, fast-paced joyride. Young readers (and even grown-ups!) will zoom through the pages, hooked by the fascinating facts and colorful storytelling.

I felt that the images in this book let it down as the blurring would not have appealed to my son. The information was very basic and I felt it could have had more.

One of a wide set of eight pamphlets about the coolest cars (there are also Jaguar and Tesla ones available, too…) this takes us quickly round the world of Ferrari. But it's going to teach us very little. The first chapter is over six pages and is about fifty words – but the box-outs and captions probably make up twice that much. The other chapters are probably similar in proportion, and by the time you've got all the model numbers and speed data and so on, you've hardly got a flowing narrative. What these books will do is get the very young into the idea that there is a non-fiction book for them, and the format should not purely be thought of as a "school" book, for learning. They can be fun, too. This is – pictorially, but seldom elsewhere.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the authors, the publisher and Netgalley for allowing my children and I to share this book.
My kids really enjoyed this book. My oldest isn't really a car fanatic but he really liked the part on the hybrids and thought that was extremely interesting. My youngest however completely loved this book as a little car fanatic who wants to know everything he can about cars and really wants me to bring this home along with the others in this series!
This was simple enough for them both to read, minus some help with names, but that's to be expected in this situation. However it was well thought out, and very educational. It was engaging, well being straight to the point and actually age appropriate. The quiz at the end was honestly a perfect addition, that actually helped reinforce all that they learned. Most vehicle related books for kids now a days for this age range aren't written geared towards their ages for them to be read independently by children. They're usually written in a way that's really overwhelming with pointless facts that even those younger children already know. This book wasn't that though at all. This would honestly be the first children's vehicle book and series I would actually bring home for my son!
Thank you very much from the bottoms of our hearts for allowing us to snuggle up and read this book together, I really appreciate it!

This is an awesome book that I know many kids will adore! The first thing I liked about this book was the variety of different Ferrari models that the author chose to include. It added a lot of diversity to the book and made it even more interesting. Adding onto that, the images added a lot to the book as a whole because they were relevant and gave readers the opportunity to connect visuals with the writing, enhancing learning. Yet another great thing about this book was the choice of facts. There was never a dull moment, and all of the facts were fascinating; I was engaged the whole time I was reading. Lastly, I want to applaud the author for choosing to write about sports cars. It's something that you don't see often, but it's very appealing to a younger audience. Bravo!
