A very different book - weirdly gripping and intensely intriguing. I enjoyed reading it and I'm sure all the readers of dark sci-fi fantasy would appreciate the plot.

I really enjoyed this book. I’m glad it was easy to figure out since I didn’t read the first book.

Okay I have to say that I am an absolute IDIOT because I did not realize that I was reading the second book in a series and man was I pissed because I was like crap I am going to miss something but I had to wing it and continue reading and to my surprise Holy Hades Sandra did a wonderful job of filling in my crazy blanks without having to read the first book so I was happy!

Seanna is on a mission to find out who she is and why she is the way she is. See the love of her life created her and crafted her after many failed attempts on his behalf. But Seanna knows there is something wrong with her well not wrong but different because she can smell human emotions and she has super strength and if that is not weird enough she has this need to devour human souls.... what the hell.... she is like what is going on with me and why am I like this.

So she decides she is going to retrace Samuel's steps and find out what happened by getting answers she so desperatly needs. But as she is uncovering things she finds out what Samuel has done and she gets to see first hand the failures Samuel has left behind.

Will she continue to love Samuel or will she walk away from this life and save humankind...........
