Drives Me Crazy is a short and sweet romance with a charming setup and easy banter between the main characters. The pacing is fast, making it a light read you can finish in one sitting. The premise had great potential, and the writing style flows well.
However, I felt the romantic arc could have been more developed. The connection between the characters moved very quickly, and I personally would have enjoyed seeing more emotional buildup and depth. Some themes—such as family tension—were introduced but resolved too smoothly to create real impact or character growth.
Readers who prefer low-angst, clean romances with minimal conflict will likely enjoy this. It’s a feel-good story that keeps things light, but I would have appreciated more complexity in the relationship and plot.

If you are looking for a sweet, quick read, this is the perfect book for you. The main characters are a college soccer star and an overachieving student council member. Diego gets in trouble to not attending his class, so he has to go before a board of students who will determine his fate. His punishment is to go on a trip to Mexico to play soccer with the kids there. While on the trip, him and Valerie, the FMC, become attracted to each other, and decide to give their relationship a shot. There are, of course, problems that come along with them having a relationship, but I won’t spoil those in this review. I would give this book a shot!

cute and swoony, missed something on the chemistry and being closed door didn't help in the end.
sometimes, it was a tone immature for a college romance but sweet nonetheless.
i enjoyed how it evolved either way and i liked the end!

Valerie and Diego’s story was an adorable novella and wholesome up until the end. This was a closed-door romance which focused more on the storyline and tension hill up between Valerie and Diego while they were in Mexico for a school trip.
I didn’t read the first couple books in this series since this author was new to me but I do want to go back and read them to learn more backstory on the supporting characters. This was a quicker read but still adorable nonetheless!

this book was too cute. and made me bashfully take a few exciting hours being totally in love with the plot and characters within.
i loved the characters as individuals and when they came together? well yeh fabulous!
Diego and Valerie might be the complete opposite to each other. they might have their own plan for the future. they might think the other is never going to be in the same space as them and nor would they want to be. but when they are forced to do just that they might just find answers in each other, a balance and strength for and from one another. and are we glad we get to read it happen?...yes, yes we sure are.
the banter was on point and witnessing the bickering slowly move on to something more made me smile each time it became clear it was happening. there little moments. the knowing of what was happening between them, and even the not knowing was just a joy to feel part of. i actively smiled at parts and had the youngster tingly toes feeling at others. am i too old for books like this? NEVER. and long may that be the case if i get to read these books!
i also love how not only did the pair find so much love from their trip, it also helped them so much more besides that.
this book is part of a series but can definitely work completely fine on its own.
this is a quick read and i whizzed through it.

Sometimes what you think you want and what you need are very different things! Enemies to more and a fun adventure getting there as they discover what they planned may not be what they really wanted - opposites not only attract but merge! Good banter and sizzle and fun plot, no spice for those it may matter to.

This book was too cute!!!
One of the best novellas I’ve read in a long time. I instantly connected with Diego and Valerie. I liked how we got more chapters from Diego’s POV, because I liked being in the MMC’s head more lately.
While it was a little speedy at times, for a novella I thought it was perfect. We get to see our favorite college and explore a bit of Mexico. It was a fun read!
I’ve been in a book funk lately and sort of stressed. This book provided me with a quick read that didn’t have much chaos or conflict. This is perfect if you want to escape your current world and simply relax for a couple hours.
