Addie’s Eyes is one of those rare stories that feels like it’s been waiting for you your whole life. It follows 12-year-old Addie, who’s blind, as she finds solace in the tales of a misunderstood sideshow performer—and then is swept into his magical world where sight returns and truths unfold. It’s a mix of whimsy and warmth, with surprising emotional depth that caught me off guard in the best way. I loved how it made me feel both wonder and reflection—it’s beautifully written and quietly powerful.

Blind girl + hairy sideshow guy + magical seeing powers = one heck of a heart-squeezing, soul-lifting ride!
Y’all, Addie’s Eyes gave me all the feels and then some! I laughed, I got misty (okay fine, I ugly-cried a little), and I wanted to crawl into this book like it was my childhood blanket. Addie is smart, brave, and totally lovable—and Fedor? Big fuzzy cinnamon roll energy. The magic, the twists, the whole “wait, she can SEE now?!” moment? Chef’s kiss. If you’ve got a soft spot for whimsical adventures and stories that make your heart grow three sizes, grab this book and prepare to get enchanted. 👁️🐻💫
