The information in this book was good but it was not well laid out well. I was very confused by some of the boxes in different places as well as some of the photos being chopped off on certain pages. At times it felt almost like this was done in a non-professional atmosphere.
While I think kids would enjoy the information, I think the layout and the quality of the images could be great improved upon.

I didn't know much about Shohei Ohtani before this but I love this biography series for children. Ohtani is amazing not just for his many accomplishments but for his morals and values when making professional choices. Being both a pitcher and a batter is important to Ohtani, and he really showed his doubters when he joined the 500/500 club by making 500 hits as a batter and 500 strikeouts. I loved the photos chosen for the book, which showed how young he was and how happy he is playing baseball.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this ARC
