This! 5 freaking crazy good stars. Who is she?! What is she really like?!?! GUILTY OR NOT GUILTY?!?!
This book follows a girl through 4 different peoples point of view. This device made it so much harder to guess anything. I had no idea who she was or what she was like or whose perspective to believe. AND THAT ENDING!!
If you like psychological thrillers, RUN don’t walk to read this one! Or listen to it. The audio is superb. *chefs kiss*
I will be looking for this kind of intrigue and being sorely disappointed.
Thank you Nicci Cloke, Harper Audio Adult, and NetGalley for this book. I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Intriguing premise, but didn't fully deliver.
Her Many Faces starts off strong with a compelling mystery and a haunting tone that pulls you in quickly. Nicci Cloke sets up an eerie, twisty atmosphere that promises a gripping psychological thriller. The alternating perspectives and secrets among the women add a layer of suspense that kept me curious.
However, as the story unfolded, the pacing began to drag and some of the character motivations felt unclear or underdeveloped. While the themes of identity and friendship were interesting, I found myself losing connection with the characters toward the middle. The big reveals didn’t quite land with the impact I expected, and the ending left me with more questions than satisfaction.
Overall, it's a decent read with moments of intensity, but it didn’t quite live up to its potential for me. Good for fans of slow-burn thrillers who enjoy layered female dynamics, but don’t expect a tightly wrapped conclusion.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC audiobook. I was pleasantly surprised with this audiobook. I have never heard of the author Nicci Cloke. The title of the book is what got me to take a closer look at the synopsis. The main character, aka. Katherine, Kate, KC, Kit and Wild Kate is a completely different person, especially depending on which POV you are listening to from other characters. It was confusing trying to follow which "Kate" was being described and by WHO was describing her at the beginning. But eventually you catch on.
This novel really showcases how one person can be somebody completely different depending on the type of relationship you have with them. I had no idea which Kate I was going to get at the end and I enjoyed that. Usually I like to try and figure out the plot line prior to the ending, but in this case I let the story play out. I am happy that I did that. Moderate sexual content. Profanity. Ages 17+. I recommend this audiobook to others. All of the narrators were good.

This one had such a unique plot. Someone accuses her of killing four of her exes — or maybe she actually did it? I kept going back and forth the whole time, which made it even more fun. It had suspense but in a kind of quiet, creeping way, not over-the-top.
The story felt different in a good way. Not just another crime drama. It played with guilt, blame, and trust in a way that kept me thinking, and the whole time I couldn’t really tell who I was supposed to believe.
Also — it was a really nice audiobook. The voice fit the mood perfectly and made it super easy to stay hooked. I honestly just wanted to keep listening and figure out what was really going on.

Oh my, this book was a doozy. I was just so utterly confused for most of this if I'm being honest. I don't usually struggle that much to keep track but I was constantly finding myself rewinding.
Review for the audio book specifically- pretty good if you can keep up, this one has to be taken slow I think. I loved all the narrators overall and I felt they each did a great job, although again it was hard for me to keep track of who was dad who was lawyer etc. Because they all had parts that told about themselves and different points of time like the lawyer and his ex during the talk where he mentioned I believe it was Malorie a previous client of his.. or the dad and talking about everything to do with her childhood and her mum.. lots of names.. and it was just a pretty large cast to keep up with, because it was audio, it lost me.
I think this is one I definitely need to go back and read on physical format. To tab and keep notes. I just couldn't keep up with it otherwise. I did put it down around 50%. I think I could really like this one in a different format.
Leaving this at 3 stars because what I did read was not terrible, I'm just lost. It has potential and I don't want to get more frustrated with it.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an early audio copy in exchange for a review!

This was the first book I read where you get to know the main character through everyone else’s eyes. You see her as a child teenager and young adult and you get others perspective on who they think she is. This book does a great job keeping you turning those pages to figure out what actually happened and why. I always love a book with a twist at the end and this one delivers! This will definitely be an author I will read more of their books! Fun fast paced read for sure!

3.5 stars. The multi‑perspective structure is clever and the shifting narratives kept me engaged, though the pacing dragged at times.
As for the ending, I honestly can’t tell if Cloke meant it as a twist or if she knew readers would see that exact resolution coming—which made it more irritating than satisfying.

Her Many Faces by Nicci Cloke is a beautifully written psychological thriller that quietly grabs hold and doesn’t let go. From the very start, I was pulled into a richly layered story full of tension, emotion, and complexity.
What stood out most to me was the incredible character development. Each woman in this story is crafted with care and authenticity, flawed, vulnerable, and undeniably real. Their voices are distinct, their journeys compelling, and their secrets kept me engaged the entire way through.
The storyline unfolds at a steady pace, with a subtle but ever-growing sense of suspense. Cloke’s writing is thoughtful and deliberate, never rushing but always drawing you deeper into the characters’ lives and choices. It's the kind of story that makes you think about who people really are beneath the surface, and how far someone might go to protect the life they’ve built.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable and haunting read, and I appreciated the emotional depth just as much as the intrigue. A solid 4 stars from me!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Her Many Faces by Nicci Cloke (book cover is in image) is a multiple POV mystery about Katherine Cole accused of murder. Told from the perspective of her father, a childhood friend, a lover, her lawyer and journalist, we learn about Katherine and the events that lead to the murder.
I had the pleasure of having the ALC and the eARC and found it very easy to switch between the book and audiobook. The cast of narrators did a fabulous job of narrating the story giving each character a distinctive voice. I recommend this book to those who like multiple POV mysteries with unreliable narrators.
Thank you @harperaudio, @williammorrowbooks, and @netgalley for the opportunity to listen to this ALC and read this ARC. All opinions are my own.

I’m normally not a fan of more than a two or maybe three narrators. It makes a book too hard to follow, to keep track of perspectives, but I can’t imagine Nicci Cloke’s Her Many Faces being told any different than it was, from her father, her one childhood friend, her hook-up guy, her lawyer, and a columnist looking to maybe spin her story into a book. The last chapter in Katie’s own voice is what sealed Her Many Faces as a five-star read/listen though. It wraps it up in just the right way., with a jaw-dropping reveal.

Katherine is on trial for murder and stands accused of poisoning four wealthy, influential men. She fled the scene of the incident, is quoted as saying they deserved it, but maintains her innocence.
I enjoyed this one so much because of how different it was. The entire book was told from the POVs of different men who knew Katherine throughout her life. The chapters flip back and forth between different portions of her life, and each narrator tells her story the way they saw her.
I loved the narration in this book, and how there was a full cast of characters. It made it really easy to tell each POV across, despite the fact that they were all pretentious men speaking for a woman. The pacing was good with each narrator, and across the narrators. Sometimes with multiple, I need to slow down or speed up, depending on which one is speaking at the time, but there was none of that here.
It actually made me really annoyed and fired up, but in a good way. Katherine was on trial for murder, this was her story, and here it was being told by a bunch of men. They all assumed they knew her, but it was unclear if any of them REALLY knew her, because it was all their own skewed versions of her.
We don't get a single moment of Katherine's POV until the very end and very last chapter.
Overall, even though I was irate at these men who were essentially mansplaining Katherine's life, I really enjoyed the book. It was very uniquely done, and I was glad it wasn't just another thriller about another woman who may or may not have poisoned a bunch of men.
I would recommend this one of you are a thriller reader and looking for something unique.

This book was told in a very inventive way. But I think being inside the heads of toxic people and a side red herring plot that I wasn't that into, it made this book drag more than it should. The narrators were all terrific, however. I did like how the book resolved but wish I could have seen more of the woman's perspective--i wanted her response to what these men were thinking of her.

Buckle yourself in for a wild ride!
Five men all know the same woman. We are treated to their POV's as to how they know her and in what capacity, when she is arrested and put on trial for murder.
I'm not going to say any more about this one except that it is well worth a read. It took me awhile to keep track of the different personalities but once I got ahold of who was who, I was in and running. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more by her.

𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖~ 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐒 ~ by Nicci Cloke~ Thanks to Netgalley, William Morrow, Harper Audio and Nicci Cloke for an ALC of this novel that releases July 15th 2025. I found this one in a “soon to be released" article and it captured my interest so I was happy to receive an ARC. Unfortunately, this one was not a hit for me. The structure of this was cool, in that the characterization of FMC Kate, comes from the POV of five men in her life. The one message I did receive and enjoy is the idea that we all are different versions of ourselves in the minds of every person we interact with. Other people’s perception creates the reality of who we are to each individual. That was the best of this for me. Otherwise, I found it quite flat. There were so many narrators and side characters and I didn’t know enough about very many of them. The pacing was very slow and then sped up right at the end. Hence, I was already unbalanced, trying to keep all the POVs and their relationships and backstories straight, then, the ending was like whiplash. All of a sudden there was a little clue and then it was solved.TBH, I was mostly bored and kept trying to find something or someone to care about to connect with this and I just never did. Also, the little bit that readers get from Kate herself, was not enough to even like her or not. Sorry and sadly, this is a miss for me. But I am still grateful for the chance to give it a try early and I am an outlier, so this may be a me thing for this book. Hence, as always, readers can glean for themselves if this one sounds interesting enough to pick up .

Many thanks to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I binged and loved this incredibly smart, propulsive, well written mystery/character study. It's actually difficult for me to determine exactly what genre this book is- it's just GREAT.
Her Many Faces follows the arrest and trial of Katherine Cole, a young woman who has been accused of the murder by poison of 4 very wealthy and powerful men at an exclusive club where she worked as a server. The structure of this book is very similar to Notes on an Execution and equally well done. Katherine's story is told through the perspectives of 5 men in her life: her father, a friend from childhood, a romantic partner, a journalist writing about her case, and her defense attorney. It is truly incredible what Cloke was able to seamlessly cover in this book: a murder mystery, online radicalization, the long term results of grief and trauma, the danger of misinformation online, and how women's lives are picked apart and judged and the impact these judgments can have- particularly if they come from the gaze of men in positions of power.
Like most mysteries/crime dramas coming out of the UK and Ireland, this is far smarter, deeper, and thoughtful than most in this genre. I never saw the ending coming, but when it did, it made complete sense. The narration of this audiobook is excellent, but it can be difficult to initially keep up with who is who- I recommend if you listen that you initially take notes. I highly recommend this for readers looking for a (very) smart and propulsive read.

Loved the way this story was told like peeling back layers with each POV of the main character Katie. Lots of interesting twists and turns and of course the big twist. Great thriller.

Okay, maybe I’m not out of my thriller era because this book was awesome! I love multiple POVs and short chapters so much. I loved the ending; it tied the twists together beautifully.

Oooo, twisty twisty! This was such a unique way to tell a story about a singular woman and not use her POV- it’s very rare that I would want it solely done by men but it truly works in this novel! The POVs, paired with the time jumps, allowed for so much suspense. The way it’s written, it was hard to tell who was telling the truth & what actually happened. It had a ton of topical plot lines that really elevated the story. I highly recommend it!

I am a sucker for the alternating points-of-view trope and this book DELIVERED. The story of a young woman accused of murder, as told by several different men in her life—so chilling, disturbing, and topical, I couldn’t put this one down. The writing is thoughtful and clever, the details doled out in excruciatingly precise pace. The narrators were all excellent.

4.5 Stars
This story of a supposed killer on trial for murdering four men gripped me from the beginning. The book is written in multiple POVs of all men who are involved in the suspected killer’s life. A super fast paced thriller that was different than everything I’ve been reading lately. One potential draw was the multiple POVs were a little hard to remember at first, but nothing a little notepad can’t solve!
The narrators of the audiobook did a fantastic job with their storytelling and inflections, it really was the cherry on top for me.
Thank you NetGalley and HarperAudio for the ARC!
