My heart!!! I did not expect this to be so emotional! I couldn’t put this down. There were so many sweet, soul crushing, moving and unforgettable moments packed into this.

If you want to feel literally everything …this is a must read!
What a heart wrenching, emotional journey I just went on! This was such a beautiful read.

Looking forward to reading this one again. And again. And probably also again.
The cover will really draw in readers who are looking for something with a heavy feel.

If you are any kind of a real human being you will feel every ounce of this book. Every moment every life choice made between them changes everything. All the emotions and trials and tribulations. This is such a rollercoaster and it is so real. It’s heart wrenching and so beautiful. The strength that you can live through anything if you just give a fuck and have someone strong and have the strength to let someone in.

Maybe Life Is This is one of those rare books that makes you pause and feel—really feel—what it means to be caught between loyalty and longing. Following Darian Alister, a man who believes life is best lived by the plan, the story slowly unravels his carefully crafted world when Elina enters with quiet grief and unexpected connection. The writing is poetic without being heavy, and I found myself deeply moved by the emotional realism and the beautiful, aching way love and timing clash. It stayed with me long after I closed the book.

Okay, but what just happened to my heart?! 💔✨ This book is like getting hit by a love train you didn’t see coming—and I loved it. Darian is the kind of guy who has it all together (or thinks he does) until Elina walks in with her mystery eyes and emotional x-ray vision. I legit couldn’t put it down. This story is full of slow-burn feels, deep soul moments, and those “OMG did they just say that?” scenes. It’s sexy, sad, smart—and totally unforgettable. Just read it already. 🌧️💫📘

Heartbeats and Torn Blueprints
Whoa—Maybe Life Is This had me emotionally tangled like earbuds in a pocket—messy, magnetic, and totally impossible to walk away from.

I really appreciate the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for giving feedback!!
that being said.....
I had to stop reading around 38%. when I first started I was openminded, the summary doesnt give much away about the plot - and the way is started was promising. some really thoughtful similes.
then very quickly over the next few chapters, it started feeling like the author leaned heavily on AI.... I say heavily because the amount of repetition and EXCESSIVE similes is NOT NORMAL. Also, there is a lot of skipping around where they arent showing or telling us anything but suddenly things have escalated without telling us anything.
Again, there is no way that this wasnt HEAVILY written by AI. The idea had to be original. i suggest starting over with your idea. Readers know when something isnt right.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ability to review this ARC.
First and foremost, I do not support the use of AI imagery. From what I can see on the cover, AI appears to have been used. I believe that reflects badly on the book and an illustrator could have been used instead.
When I got to chapter two, I honestly had concerns that AI may have been used on the writing as well. The chapter is split into sections that almost feel prompted. The use of the cover as well as this have made me very concerned and therefore I will not be able to finish the book entirely.
