I’ve loved this series for a long time, and it was so nice to finally see some development about Gwen’s background! Watching her grow and come out of her shell throughout this series has been incredibly heartwarming, though she still has a ways to go. I also really loved watching Fredrick come out of his shell and act on his feelings. The pacing was great and honestly the character development is phenomenal! I CAN’T WAIT for the next volume.

Gwen and her friends at the Cursed Princess Club prepare for a dinner party with Gwen's family... and the princes from the Plaid Kingdom? Using the dinner party as a ruse to investigate Gwen's mother, the princesses discover more than they expected, but how will this help Gwen grow.

I continue to fall in love with this series again and again. I love how it reinforces self-love, the importance of family and friendship and how none of the princesses are typical. Some great secrets are also revealed in this volume.

I was so excited to get my hands on the unscrolled version earlier. I’ve been obsessed with this story since happening upon volume 1. This graphic novel is for a slightly older teen to adult. I think some themes are for an older crowd. If you liked any of the earlier novels you’ll love this one as well.

We see the continuation of Gwen and Fredrick’s relationship. As they are still trying to understand and realize their feelings for each other. While their friendship is growing, we see their sisters have issues with their betrothed but continue to discuss and figure out who each other are.

We also FINALLY get to the well alluded dinner party. And while things go a little haywire, will Gwen, the CPC and even Fredrick be able to save it?

This graphic novel series holds a special place in my heart. Our main princess, Gwen, embarks on a journey to find self acceptance and love. Throughout her story we meet several cursed princesses who take Gwen under their wing and show her that being different doesn’t mean you are any less of a princess 👑

Four volumes are out now and the fifth is coming on November 25. I know it feels like forever (I'm dying over here), but it's a great chance to get caught up on the first four. I can’t recommend this series enough to those of all ages.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Wattpad Books for the opportunity to read Volume 5 before its release date!
