Nate ghosted Essie 6 years ago after a kiss she can’t forget. Now his brother is marrying her best friend and they’re the Maid of Honor and the Best Man, so they’ll need to spend some time together. Essie thinks he hates her because Nate is a grumpy guy. He doesn’t believe in love, and she’s all about the fairytale. Maybe it’s their past, maybe it’s just sexual tension, but maybe it’s more. I loved Essie and Nate and their grumpy sunshine moments. Another great book by Helena!

4.5⭐️ This was such a fun, swoon worthy romance.
Essie & Nate are such a great couple, they have a bit of a part, and both of them have hidden feelings for the other & the angst is top notch!
This was a sweet & very emotional story. Essie & Nate both had some pretty big things they needed to work through for their own mental health. I loved the chemistry, the banter, the sass & the competitiveness between these two.
I absolutely adore Flip and how he poked and prodded to stir things up, but when it came down to it, he was the loyal caring friend that was needed.
This was a lot of fun, a lot of spice, a bit of chaos, some outside drama, new friends and old friends & a lot of healing.
I am excited for next Terror romances.

Thank you so much Author Helena Hunting for giving me another beautiful opportunity by sending me a ALC & ARC of your New Upcoming Romance Novel☀️🏝️💋✨

“Toronto Terror Book Series”
5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️AUDIOBOOK & READ!! I destroyed this book up!! Soon as I heard- Teddy Hamilton & Savannah Peachwood, as the narrators I was hooked instantly and fell hopelessly in love with this tale and the way the author was able to captured both of the main characters so beautifully! And already loving the characters from the author’s previous series just made the tale even better, especially with the hot tension that was blooming from the first few chapters👀✨I just knew it was going to be a new favorite 5 star read for me. The chokehold that Nate and Essie have me in is absolutely no joke! I love these two so much!!
Essie has always been the pretty one, she gets attention from men and women for her beauty. She is a hopeless romantic and is always falling in love and ending up with a broken heart. Nate doesn't believe in love, because no one ever stays. He is the grumpy storm cloud to her sunshine and rainbows and oh my heart I fell hard for these two and how they love, support and see each other. they are competitive both in and out of the bedroom and the antics they get up to made me laugh out loud and smile so hard!
The Babe brigade is back, along with cameos from Lavender and Kodiak, Hemi's brothers, Chase and Cami and Brody and a few others. I love that Helena's series' are all interconnected and we get to see what our old favorite characters are up to!
Narrated in duet by Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood, the performances of these two exceptional narrators elevated the story and brought it to life in a whole new way. I couldn't imagine better casting and the experience of consuming this book both as a eyeball read or and audio read is fantastic!
I received an ARC and ALC of this book and voluntarily give my honest review.

i LOVEE Helena hunting so much! Seriously an auto buy author for me and this series is one of my favorites. The audiobook was so good! Teddy Hamilton and Savanah Peachwood are two of my favorite narrators and I knew they would kill it with this one. Dreamscape media scored with this one 🤭

🍹Book Review🍹
4⭐ 3🌶️
This is a sports romance for those who don't really like a whole lot of sport or aren't really into sport romances. It works so well! However, be warned that there are a lot of characters from past Toronto Terror books and it can sometimes be a little hard to follow. I knew this was not a stand-alone when I picked it up so I will not hold this against the book.
This is a spectacular love story, but it was the ending that really made me love this book so much. Without giving too much away, the MMC and the FMC realised that they have issues that they must navigate before they come together and I love that. Yay to informed decisions and realism in relationships! The narrators, Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood, were fabulous.
Big thanks to the author Helena hunting for a copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.

Nate Stiles and Essie Lovelock are the best man and maid of honor for the upcoming nuptials of his brother, Tristan, to her bestie, Rix (If You Hate Me). Nate and Essie have history stemming from a hot kiss six years ago, and then he ghosted her. Nate doesn't believe in love at all since his mother left him, Tristan, and their youngest brother Brody when they were young, which explains his ever-present grumpy personality. Essie holds a completely opposite point of view when it comes to love; she just hasn't found her "One" yet. The proximity planning and emotional oneupmanship challenges between Essie and Nate reach a crescendo when they find themselves trapped in a shed together. Surprisingly, there's someone in their friend group who's been secretly playing Cupid for them. That's all I'm going to say. I loved that all the couples from the Toronto Terrors series and Kodiak and Lavendar Waters Bowman from Little Lies also make appearances which makes this author's fan truly happy!

I really enjoyed Nate and Essie, my favourite couple from the Toronto gang so far.
Essie’s a sunshine and rainbows hopeless romantic looking for the Prince to her Princess. Nate is a grump with abandonment issues and doesn’t believe there is a happily ever after. Being the Best Man and Maid of Honour forces the two together after he ghosted her six years ago.
The wedding guest list includes the couples from The Toronto Terror series along with some favourites from other Helena Hunting series which always lead to lots of laughs and sweet moments.
Tropes:
👑 Second Chance
🖤 Brother’s Wife’s Best Friend
👑 Grumpy Nerd and Sunshine and Rainbows Princess
🖤 Sports Romance
👑 Opposites Attract
🖤 Hurt/Comfort
This can be enjoyed as a stand alone but I recommend reading If You Hate Me first.

Helena did it again. This book was everything I didn’t know I needed. Nate is so grumpy and you can see how the past has hurt him. When Nate and Essie start to help with the details of Tristan and Rix’s wedding the sparks begin. Essie is a bright light in Nate’s dark cloud. Listening to the audio pulled me in and I couldn’t stop. Their banter is amazing! The narrator’s were amazing pulling the emotional depts and passionate scenes together. Helena has a way of making you feel as though you are apart of this friend group and right in the middle of all the action. It was such a beautiful story.

I Could Be Yours is the sixth installment in the Toronto Terror series, and it delivers a sizzling second-chance romance between Nate and Essie that hits all the right tropes: frenemies-to-lovers, opposites attract, grumpy/sunshine, and forced proximity. I was hooked from start to finish.
Six years ago, Nate and Essie shared a kiss that could’ve changed everything—until Nate ghosted her the very next day. Now, they're back together as they co-organize the wedding of Nate’s brother and Essie’s best friend. What starts as a rivalry over wedding duties quickly spirals into a hilarious battle of wills, full of snarky banter, undeniable chemistry, and unresolved tension. As they spend more time together, old wounds resurface, but so do long-buried feelings. The push-and-pull between them is both frustrating and delightful, making their journey feel authentic and deeply satisfying.
This is a story about healing and growth. Watching both characters evolve was incredibly rewarding. The friendships and family ties woven throughout the story added warmth and depth, and seeing familiar faces from earlier books was a treat. This was an enjoyable read and I look forward to more from this author.
🎧 Audiobook
The duet narration by Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton was phenomenal. They brought Nate and Essie to life with just the right balance of vulnerability and emotion. Their performances elevated the story, making it even more immersive and heartfelt and making the listening experience an absolute delight.

Nate and Essie are completely at odds with each other. But when Nate steps in as the best man and Essie takes on the role of maid of honor, their rivalry over wedding responsibilities turns into a hilarious showdown. Will they end up in jail ... or tangled up in bed?
This book had me hooked from the start. The chemistry between Essie and Nate is electric. With the classic grumpy-sunshine dynamic and a delightful second-chance romance, the tension and humor kept me turning the pages.
🎧 Audiobook Experience
The duet narration by Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton was a match made in audiobook heaven. Peachwood perfectly captured Essie’s yearning for a fairy-tale romance, alongside her reluctance to take risks after past heartbreaks. Meanwhile, Hamilton brought Nate to life as the hot nerd with a complicated relationship with love, showcasing his journey toward becoming the right man for Essie. Watching Nate’s character growth was a highlight, and I found myself rooting for their love story every step of the way.
Plus, it was fantastic to see familiar faces from the Toronto Terror and Blaze University series make appearances, adding depth and excitement to the overall experience. I’m left eagerly anticipating what’s next for the Toronto Terror crew!

Another great read from Helena Hunting. While not a true part of the Toronto Terror series, we got to see plenty of characters from those books thanks to Nate being Tristan's brother and Essie being Rix's best friend. A fun romance between Nate and Essie as they help to plan Tristan and Rix's wedding.

I absolutely loved this story. These voice actors did a fantastic job of bringing sunshiney Essie and grumpy Nate to life. The duet-style narration just makes this audiobook.
I do love it when one of the main characters is grumpy. Seeing how the other main character melts them is just the best!
Get ready for secret, late-night trysts, him noticing her, like REALLY noticing her, a deep connection, a guy who shows up by working on himself, and all the side characters we know and love from the Toronto Terrors and Tilton U series.

I thoroughly enjoyed Essie and Nate’s story. I had been picking up vibes for them for awhile and to read this story was perfect. I loved reading about Rix and Tristan’s wedding and everything leading up to it. I loved all the spice and everything nice (wink wink). I listened to the audio while I read the ebook which was a first for me. I loved the characters, the story, the narrators, and alllll the peeks of what’s to come. I can’t wait for Dred & Connor’s story. Anyway I give this 5 stars for both the ebook and audio!

I Could Be Yours by Helena Hunting is a sizzling, emotionally charged destination wedding romance full of heat and second-chance vibes! When Essie, the bride’s fiercely loyal best friend, comes face-to-face with Nate, the best man who ghosted her six years ago, their explosive chemistry reignites in a whirlwind of stolen glances, razor-sharp banter and unresolved tension.
Hunting is a masterful at balancing scorching, slow-burn passion with heartfelt vulnerability, and she delivers this here as Essie and Nate confront their history, painful pasts and the undeniable pull between them. The tropical wedding setting adds an escapist vibe, while the regret, longing, and red-hot desire of their budding relationship makes this reunion utterly addictive. Hunting leaned into her signature blend of wit, steam and raw emotion to craft a romance that was as intoxicating as it was cathartic.
I listened to the audiobook, narrated in duet by one of my favorites, Teddy Hamilton, and a new-to-me narrator, Savannah Peachwood. These two were so in-sync, absolutely nailing their performances and bringing to life these characters and all their chemistry, heat and emotion. I loved it! Five smooches from me for I Could Be Yours by Helena Hunting!

I really wanted to like this story, it had the greatest lead up. But it fell flat considering the other characters. the only reason I struck through it was that the other characters and nods to other stories were in here.

Who doesn’t love an enemies to lovers, hysterical, Helena Hunting, story. With all the zany characters I’ve grown to love over time. I absolutely love everything about Nate and Essie’s story. You have it all, great characters, hysterical moments, and a happily ever after. Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood do a great job with this duet style audio book.

I loved Nate’s broody grumpiness so much! I loved seeing him peel back the layers to Essie’s personality and how encouraging he is of her work. And I loved that Essie is obsessed with his brain 🤣 the whole bad*** babe brigade is phenomenal and seeing the whole Toronto terror crew show up for Tristan and Rix’s wedding was so fun! I loved Nate and Essie’s love story — Nate had a lot of growing to do but he wanted to do it to be the best he could be for Essie which is beautiful to see play out on the pages. Another winner for me!

MY NEW FAVORITE FROM OUR QUEEN!!!
Helena always knows how to write a damn good book, but I feel like her banter between the characters shines so much more brighter in either enemies to lovers or dislike to lovers, and for this reason, I was absolutely hooked on Nate and Essie’s flirty banter. These two were everything!!
I could FEEL the desire and the pull towards each other that these two had, and I just knew once they finally got together it would cataclysmic. They exploded absolutely off the page (and in my ears 🎧), and I LOVED them together. I knew there would be some hurdles for them to overcome, but they did and I’m very happy with how their story ended.
Nate and Essie are two of my favorite Helena characters that I’ve ever read. Nate with his broody, grumpy self, and Essie with sunshiney personality, you’d think that they’d clash, but they fit so well together. There were so many times where I wanted to just hug Nate. He’s struggled with abandonment issues from his mom leaving them as kids, and to see him battle through that was heartbreaking. I kinda resonated with that side of him, because I also have mommy issues, and I could sympathize with how he felt. I’m glad he got the help he needed for him and Essie so that they could grow and start a life together.
Teddy and Savannah performed the audio for this in duet, and it was utter PERFECTION. Teddy is great with conveying grumpy/broody mmc’s and he was so fitting performing as Nate. Savannah, with her flirty inflections was wonderful as Essie. These two performing together was a treat for my ears that I wasn’t expecting. Highly HIGHLY recommend listening to this on audio. & while you’re at it, grab her Toronto Terrors series on audio too!! I just cannot recommend Helena’s books enough!! 🥰

Essie and Nate are now forced to spend a lot of time together after Nate ghosted her 6 years ago. There were so many times in this book I wanted to shake them both and force them to talk! Buuut that being said, the slow burn and chemistry between these two is unmatched. This was a perfect second chance romance. Also if you get the chance to listen to the audiobook, DO IT. Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood are literal perfection in bringing life to these characters
