The is book is a great addition to the Toronto Terror series. Just a fun book with a great cast of characters! It was wonderful reading more about all of them. Makes me want more, more, more!!! Love Essie and Nate. Their whole dynamic is perfect! I just can’t get enough of these characters! And just the right amount of spice!! The narrators were so delightful as always!

In theory, a fairytale loving, sunshiny princess and a broody, brainy, relationship adverse engineer should not fall for each other. But fall they do. Hard. After being forced together as the best man & maid of honor at the wedding of his brother & her bff, Nate & Essie go from bickering & one upping each other to a hot, no strings summer romance in the blink of an eye. With his commitment issues and her undying pursuit of happily ever after, they know that can’t give each other what they need, but they sure can give each other what they want for a week. There’s plenty of steamy sizzle, mild angst and the found family dynamic central to all Toronto Terror books. Esie’s brother Flip adds some levity and tattooed bad boy Connor is given a surprising moment to shine. I can’t wait for his book! The dual pov narration for the audiobook by Savannah Peachwood & Teddy Hamilton was exceptional as well.

This audiobook was so good!!! Teddy Hamilton never disappoints, he made me fall for Nate even harder!
I really enjoyed this story, getting to see Rix and Tristan’s wedding was epic. There was a lot of sneaking around and so much spice!

I Could Be Yours was the absolute best feel good summer romance. As always with everything Helena Hunting writes, the banter was top tier, the feels hit me right where it hurt, and the spice was excellent! Teddy Hamilton as Nate was complete perfection. I swear that man could read me the dictionary and I'd still be obsessed. Teddy never disappoints and having him voice this grumpy, broody, man with all his baggage and past traumas just reminded me why he's a go to narrator for me. And Savannah Peachwood absolutely NAILED Essie. She's all sunshine and rainbows and the way Savannah portrayed her made it so real and brought her character to life. I loved seeing our favorite people from The Toronto Terrors and it was extra special to be part of the wedding for the couple that started it all.

Helena has done it again! This was a great summer read with a lot of our favorites from the previous books in the series. This couple struggled with communicating 🤣 I wanted to scream just talk to each other. Another funny sexy swoon worthy read.

Nate and Essie are finally here for your summer reading!
Grab the book, a bottle of wine and settle in for a fun, steamy ride with this couple!

📚 I Could Be Yours is a hilarious, heartfelt, and steamy rom-com starring Essie, a reformed fairytale fanatic turned determined maid of honor, and Nate, the emotionally constipated best man who kissed her once six years ago… then disappeared. Now they’re thrown together in a whirlwind of wedding events, salsa lessons, and unresolved tension—with a side of serious chemistry.
👨👧 Nate is the ultimate grump with a tragic backstory and walls a mile high. But underneath that broody surface is a man learning to heal, let go, and maybe believe in love. Essie? An unapologetically vibrant, vulnerable, and fierce heroine who brings the sunshine and isn’t afraid to call Nate out—while still protecting her own heart. Their dynamic? Pure fire.
💞 The romance is the perfect mix of banter, slow-burn tension, and deep emotional payoff. Watching Nate soften and Essie hold strong makes for a satisfying journey. Their chemistry simmers beneath every shared look and flirty retort, and when they finally give in? Whew. That steam is earned.
👧 You’ll love the found family vibes, the cameos from the Toronto Terrors crew (hi Beatrix & Tristan!), and the way the supporting characters add joy without stealing the spotlight. It’s part of a hockey-adjacent world but doesn’t require reading the previous books (though The Way I Hate You adds extra context!).
✍️ Helena Hunting’s writing here is some of her best—sharp, funny, and emotionally layered. And the audiobook? Phenomenal. Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton bring Nate and Essie to life in duet narration that makes every moment feel even more real.
🌟 I Could Be Yours is a sizzling, feel-good romance with depth, humor, and a whole lot of heart. Perfect for fans of sunshine-grump pairings, emotional redemption, and wedding chaos with a side of slow-dance seduction.

I enjoyed this sweet story. Always fun to learn more about the side characters. To follow along on the journey of their friendships. She has a unique way of bringing life to all her characters. They come alive as I read and or listen.

This story is the play-by-play of Rix and Tristan's destination wedding and the love story between Essie, the MOH and Rix's best friend and Nate, the best man and Tristan's brother. Essie and Nate have known each other their entire lives and shared a moment when they were in high school, but when Nate went off to college, he ghosted Essie and for the past 6 years the unresolved tension was been festering.
With the wedding coming up, Essie and Nate are forced to spend time together while they assist the happy couple with their wedding to ensure that they have the best day possible. But with Essie being the sunshine, bubbly princess who believes in true love and Nate being the wounded grump who doesn't believe falling in love can last, they clash on almost everything. Essie is a helper and always wants to go above and beyond for her loved ones, while Nate is not as enthusiastic about all the requirements that come with the wedding, but wants to give his brother the best send off possible.
Now that they're adults, their unresolved tension has developed into sexual tension and they decide to embark on a casual relationship until the wedding is over and then go back to platonic acquaintances. Their chemistry is hot as they finally indulge on their desires and the more time they spend together intimately, the more they start to fall for each other. Navigating all the responsibilities of the wedding while trying to keep their relationship a secret from everyone and not catch feelings in the process becomes futile. But they both have unresolved trauma that is holding them back from really making their relationship work outside the bedroom and navigating that will make or break their future together.
This was a fun love story that gave us a re-introduction to the Toronto Terror world and made me even that much more hyped for the next couples that are coming up! Savannah and Teddy were fantastic on this title. They brought the complexities of the characters to life and made the story that much more entertaining

I absolutely loved these two! This story had the summer romance vibes that turn into forever, their banter was so much fun to listen, too, and Helena's signature quirky characters were in full force. Full of fun and romance from cover to cover, and the phenomenal narrators were just the cherry on top!

If you have been reading Helena’s Toronto Terrors series then you know how the tension has just been BUILDING between Nate and Essie every chance we saw them on page. I was so excited to finally get to their story to find out what happened between them and then to see them finally say “f*ck it” and break that tension! They just had the best chemistry and there was so much longing between them. They both had it bad for the other for so long! Their banter just built the more time they spent together and the closer they got the feelings between them couldn’t stay hidden for long no matter how hard they both tried to fight it. I absolutely loved both Nate and Essie! In every book Essie has been such a bright light! She just has such a fun personality and I loved her positivity and spirit! Such a good match for Nate’s grumpy storm cloud energy!
I listened to the audio which is duet narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood who were absolutely perfect for Nate and Essie! Love the audio and would definitely recommend! Thank you so much Helena and Tantor Audio for an ALC of I Could Be Yours! I loved it! 🩷

4.25 🌟 This is classic Helena Hunting! I’ve been looking forward to Nate and Essie’s story since Chase Lovett Wants Me. These two are the ultimate grumpy x sunshine duo!
Essie is determined to make Rix’s wedding go off without a hitch. Nate is determined to be just as good of a best man for Tristan (he’s very competitive). These two constantly butt heads but once they give into their attraction things def heat up!
My heart def went out to Nate and all his baggage. One of the things I love about Helena’s storytelling is the way she has her characters accept and deal with their emotion trauma.
You’ll love this book if you enjoy:
🌴 Second Chance
🌴 Grumpy x Sunshine
🌴 Dis-like to Love
🌴 Opposites Attract
🌴 Best Man & Maid of Honor

I've been waiting for Nate and Essie's story, we've seen hints at something between them in other books.
Savannah and Teddy did a great job bringing Nate and Essie to life.
Helena Hunting's books always have me laughing.
This was a great grumpy/sunshine, second chance, found family romance.
I love that we got to see Rix and Tristan's wedding. Some of the problems that happened there are funny and some are kind of unbelievable.
I'm really looking forward to Dred and Connor's book. There were enough little teases that have me excited for it.
I received an early copy and am providing and honest review.

If you love a broody hero with walls a mile high and a sunshine heroine who lights up every page—𝘐 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘉𝘦 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴 will ruin you (in the best way). Nate Stiles is the ultimate grump: a science nerd with a tragic backstory and a severe aversion to love. Essie Lovelock? A former fairytale addict turned fabulous maid of honor, determined to keep things professional… even though Nate ghosted her six years ago after one perfect kiss. Now forced into wedding duty together, the tension simmers and the banter SPARKS. The chemistry between Nate and Essie is fire. Their dynamic blends sharp wit, emotional vulnerability, and the kind of slow burn that makes you scream, “JUST TELL HER YOU LIKE HER ALREADY.” Helena Hunting writes the heck out of this grumpy/sunshine pairing, and when Nate finally lets his walls crack? 🥵 Worth. Every. Page. The Toronto Terror cameos gave me all the cozy found family feels, and the wedding party chaos kept me grinning. Hello, salsa lessons & bachelor/bachelorette shenanigans! Plus, Nate being a hot nerd with science talk AND emotional growth? Oh, boy. Swoon time. Read this, my friends! You won’t be disappointed.
🎧 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:
Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton nailed it. Their duet narration turned the banter electric and the spicy scenes into full-body experiences. Yes, headphones are recommended.

If you’re a sucker for second chances, grumpy-sunshine dynamics, and a little forced proximity magic, this one is going to hit the spot. Essie and Nate were everything you want in a romance duo. Snarky, sweet, a little messy, and completely meant for each other.
Six years ago, they shared a kiss. Then Nate ghosted. Now? They’re thrown together as maid of honor and best man, tasked with planning pre-wedding events for their best friends. The spark is still very much alive, but Essie’s not about to fall for Nate again. Not when she’s holding out for a fairytale romance and he seems allergic to happily ever afters.
But resisting Nate? Yeah, that doesn’t last long.
Essie was so easy to connect with. Her Type A planner energy mixed with her dreamy fairytale heart made her incredibly relatable. And Nate? A total grumpy nerd with a hidden soft side. He’s exactly the kind of book boyfriend I fall for. Watching him open up and grow emotionally was so satisfying, and I couldn’t help but root for him (and their HEA) the entire time.
One of my favorite things about Helena Hunting’s writing is how she lets her characters truly feel. Working through emotional baggage instead of just brushing past it. Nate’s past hit hard, and I really appreciated the tenderness with which it was handled.
The audiobook made it even better! Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton brought so much personality to Essie and Nate’s banter, making their chemistry pop even more. Such a fun listen!
Whether you’re deep into the Toronto Terror series or picking this up as a standalone, I highly recommend giving it a read (or listen!). It’s a charming, trope-filled treat that romance fans won’t want to miss.
Tropes you’ll love:
💍 Second Chance
☀️ Grumpy x Sunshine
💘 Dislike to Love
🎉 Best Man & Maid of Honor
Thank you to NetGalley and Helena Hunting for the ARC!

Nate is one hot guy. He is too serious for his own good. Essie is one amazing fun woman. She will do anything for the ones she cares for. They have a connection from when they were younger. They have an amazing connection. They both need to share their feelings for each other. Loved the way everything played out. Could not put this book down.Loved the narrator’s.

I really loved this audiobook. I was obsessed with Essie's sister's book (Chase Lovett Wants Me) so I was hoping this would be another favorite of mine and it was! Teddy Is already my favorite narrator and Savannah is always a favorite, she's just fantastic so this was a dream team from the start! Essie and Nate are so sweet together, I love the second chance trope storyline. It was so great seeing so many familiar faces throughout the book, I loved it so much! It's like coming home to friends! I highly recommend this series, it's phenomenal! Another hit by Helena for sure.

I loved Nate and Essie’s story!
Second chance, he’s grumpy and is relationship averse, she’s all the sunshine and fairytales, she has some fun piercings, he is secretly sweet and together they have all the chemistry.
Their story is book four in the Toronto Terror series. It may be read as a standalone. It does have interconnected characters in a friend group. This series is one of my favorite stories by this author.

Book Review:
Helena Hunting you did it again! I loved this story so much. It’s a perfect blend of second chance romance, fairytale magic, and witty banter! Nate is the grumpy hot nerd that doesn’t believe love is in the cards for him, while Essie is miss pocket full of sunshine and fairytales! These two really love getting under one another’s skin and competing against each other. Then again having an o*gasm competition sounds pretty good to me! In addition, this love story shows how even though the spice could be hitting, emotions and how you handle them are just as important. So don’t be afraid to express your feelings cause you never know if someone shares the same with you!
Audiobook Review:
Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton are a breath of fresh air with this second chance romance story! Savannah fits Essie so well with her candy sweet voice and charm. Her narration is honest and literal sunshine! Teddy remains the narration god for any book he does! He played the hot nerd with ease and charisma!!

*Audio Review*
I Could Be Yours is a delightful summer romance! Nate and Essie are two people who can't stand each other, but are so drawn to each other at the same time. They are best man and maid of honor for Tristan and Rix's wedding (If You Hate Me) and provide plenty of banter, angst, spice and sweet moments while planning it. They have a connection that allows them to open up with one another plus really hot chemistry. In the end, Nate has to deal with his issues and feelings surrounding his Mom leaving when he was a kid before he can fully love Essie. No cliffhanger here, Nate and Essie are MFEO and get their HEA.
Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood perform duet narration and were excellent! Savannah is so fabulous when voicing all the various female characters and giving them all a personality that absolutely suits them. Teddy is Teddy. Amazing! I love his narration and the vibe he brings to all the characters.
Thank you NetGalley and Helena Hunting for the ALC. All thoughts are my own.
