This was a good read, but missed in some parts. While the romance between Wilder and Rose was hot, it felt a little off, maybe needed more depth? Also the book did drag out a bit, so it did not hold my attention. The characters themselves were pretty nice. Rose is young but traumatized and so perceived as wild and irresponsible. Wilder just bears a lot of burdens on his wide shoulders and is sinking a bit. But these two prop each other up quite sweetly.
Okay, may read Dallass book, but I'm not sure yet.

I have never been big into cowboy romance vibes but I enjoyed this one! Rose comes pretty unwillingly from the city to work at the same ranch as her older brother who is always worried about her. Her brothers best friends ranch to be exact and even though Wilder couldn’t get over her natural beauty when he meet her previously he knew she was off limits and a “wild child” who likely would never put in an honest days work: But, when Rose shows up and Wilder gets to know her for himself, he sees past the front she puts up to protect herself and in doing so his own walls begin to come down.

This was such a fun and romantic read. I have been craving a new cowboy romance and this was it!!! I was so pleased with this and ugh I cannot wait to purchase!

I loved this book, such a lovely read. The progression of Wilder and Rose’s relationship was so engaging, I couldn’t put it down! Hoping there’s more books to follow in this series, maybe a romance between Dallas and Willow would be fab!!

I’m obsessed with cowboy romances, so this was an absolute blast for me. I loved the small town, ranch vibes. This is my first Roxanne book so I’ll absolutely be going back and reading more books!

brother’s best friend, forced proximity and forbidden love are some of my favorite tropes.. so naturally, i had to give this book a go. Rose is known for being “unpredictable” and not having her life together but the minute she steps foot on Wilder’s ranch, he became the first person who truly understood and listened to her. Rose’s older brother is the reason she got the job working for Wilder and even though Wilder is closed off because of his ex, he can’t resist the way Rose makes him feel. i’ll admit i was very annoyed with Wesley for the longest time, Rose deserved more credit for handling things the best way she knew how honestly.
i think these two had good chemistry and i’m already attached to the characters. i felt so bad for Wilder’s older brother Dallas and how he was being so self destructive. i can’t wait to read his and Willow’s book up next though!! the only reason this wasn’t rated a bit higher is because of the lack of communication towards the end. both Wilder and Rose acted childish and their conflict could’ve been resolved quicker if they would’ve been upfront with how they were feeling. there were definitely some issues, but i mostly had fun with this.

Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for this arc.
I thought I would really enjoy this book but something about the writing style and the dialogue between the characters just didn't click for me. I couldn't feel any kind of connection between Wilder and Rode either. I love cowboy romance and brother's best friend is one of my all time favorite tropes, so I really wanted to enjoy this one. I did unfortunately have to DNF this one, I just couldn't get into it despite trying multiple times and taking multiple breaks.

This had all the ingredients of a small-town cowboy romance — grumpy x sunshine, brother’s best friend, age gap, ranch life, workplace tension. Honestly, it felt like the book tried to pack every trope in, and sometimes that worked, but other times it pulled me out of the story.
Rose was a lot for me. She had moments where she was fun and bold, but most of the time she came off bratty and irresponsible, which made it hard to really connect with her. Wilder fit the classic grumpy cowboy mold (broody, protective, loyal), but I got frustrated with how indecisive he was. Their back-and-forth dragged after a while, and I found myself more invested in the side characters than their romance.
That said, Willow completely stole the show for me, and I’m already excited to read her book. The ranch setting was cozy, the writing style easy to breeze through, and there were still plenty of swoony cowboy moments. Just not my favorite start to a series, but I can see myself enjoying the next one.

I loved this author so much! I could not put this book down. It was absolutely fantastic! The characters were adorable.

5/5 ⭐️ for Wild Rose by Roxanne Tully!! First book of the series was absolutely wonderful. I was hooked from page 1. I cannot wait for more of series!

4,5⭐
I absolutely devoured this book.
This was my first ever cowboy romance and I know for sure that there will be a lot more to follow because I loved this!
This book had all the things I enjoy; small town romance, grumpy x sunshine, slow burn, lots of fun banter, a strong fmc, grumpy mmc, best friends sister.
The way the relationship develops between Wilder and Rose was amazing to read. As well as the character building from both the MC's separately.
The little snippets of ranch life were very enjoyable and I can't wait to read more about Dallas' story next!
Wild Rose is a lovely cowboy romance and I had the best time reading it! Thank you so much to Netgalley and Roxanne Tully for sending me the eARC.

This book was so good. I'm a sucker for broody MMCs, add in that he is a cowboy and her brother's best friend, and I'm sold.
I liked Rose. She stayed true to her character and knew what she wanted. Wilder was her opposite, more reserved and therefore a perfect match for her. She challenged him at all times.
I wasn't a fan of her brother; I think he was a little rude sometimes, and I didn't understand completely whether I'm supposed to love or hate the Darcy girl. I can't wait to read their story, but I think Wilder's brother Dallas is next, and I think he might be paired with Rose's best friend and I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT.

This hits all my cowboy romance dreams! Rose is an amazing character to follow and I can never get enough of a "too much" woman! Especially when the hero realises thats all he needs. I love this and all of the side characters really made this one super special. I am excited to read more by Tully and now need to go find more!

Rose is wild. She is impulsive. She doesn’t take life seriously. She is in financial and emotional disarray. Or so says her brother Wesley. This account is all Wilder has ever really heard of Rose and he hasn’t seen her since she was a headstrong 16 year old.
Now Rose is coming to stay for the summer. She needs a change of pace to sort out her life and Wilder needs a helping hand on his ranch since his older brother is in an emotional free fall right now.
Turns out Rose is more than Wesley painted her to be. She’s beautiful, smart, talented and has a delightful knack for adventure. Wilder is in big trouble, he couldn’t possibly fall for his best friend’s kid sister, could he?
Well what a delightful romp this book was from start to finish. I love a good cowboy book and I love a sexy cowboy with a name that starts with a W. The chemistry between these two is palpable. They have great banter and support each other through the ghosts they are both battling.
The secondary characters are a dream. I love Dallas so much, he won my heart from the start. And Conor and Ginger. Just pretty much the whole crew. Even the ‘baddies’ were well written and helped develop the main characters further.
Can’t wait for the second story in the series now. I can’t believe I hadn’t read a Roxanne Tully book before. I just need a physical copy for my shelf!! - the cover art is divine!

I love everything Roxanne writes. She easily draws me in and I am so glad to see her grow as an author. This cover is cute and the story even cuter.

I’m in my cowboy romance era and this one was a fantastic read! A small town romance full of heart - this is one that I will be recommending to everyone!

Absolutely loved this book! I mean, cowboy meets city girl? Yes, please. Add in a protective “don’t mess with my sister,” a swoony “I love your sister,” some heartbreak, and a happily-ever-after that stitches your heart back together—and I’m sold. This was my first Roxanne Tully read, but definitely not my last. It gave me big Elsie Silver vibes (and I am here for that). And the spice? Showed up right on time and packed enough heat to scorch the page.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC of this book!

I'm a sucker for a small town romance. Add in a grumpy cowboy who is also your boss - my dream!
I devoured this book start to finish. Everything you will want in a romance book.
Looking forward to reading more of this series.

On the surface, Wild Rose is your classic small-town cowboy romance, but what really makes it shine is the way the characters are built and the layers in the plot.
Rose is a city girl looking for a fresh start, taking a job at a ranch her brother works at, one that happens to be owned by his best friend. Her family (especially her brother) sees her as a bit of a disaster who can’t make her own decisions, even though she’s fully an adult. I really liked Rose’s character; seeing things through her perspective made her easy to root for. She was definitely my favorite of the two leads.
Wilder is a rancher trying to keep things running without his brother, Dallas, who’s deep in grief after losing his fiancée. Wilder has way too much on his plate, and yet people still don’t seem to give him the credit or respect he deserves. I liked him as a character, he felt grounded and hardworking in a way that balanced Rose well.
The romance worked for me, even with the miscommunication trope (which I’m usually not a fan of). Here, it felt believable for their personalities and situation.
Dallas, on the other hand, was hard to like for most of the book. I understand grief, but the way he neglected his responsibilities and hurt others because he “couldn’t be bothered” was frustrating. I did warm up to him toward the end, and I’m curious to see his growth in the next book.
Overall, this was a satisfying, character-driven cowboy romance with just enough drama to keep me hooked. I’ll definitely be picking up the next book in the series.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received this book from Embla Books and Net Galley as an ARC, and I was THRILLED!! This book kept popping up on my feeds, so I was super excited to receive it! I really enjoyed this one! This book was absolutely adorable! =]
