Great lessons for any leader in any profession. Content presented in practice, concise manner that is easy to understand and start to implement.
I listened to this as the audiobook and think I would prefer the physical book. Though the narrator was easy to understand and listen to, the information could feel redundant at times.
This would be the perfect gift for any professional.
Thank you to NetGalley and Brillance Publishing for the ARC of this book.

Thank you to NetGalley & the publisher for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book!
I listened to the audiobook of this, and it was easy to follow! I will say I wish I also had the physical copy to be able to right notes down with. I found myself pausing the book and going back to repeat parts in order to take notes.
If you’ve read a Mark Miller book before, this reads the same and has great content.
It has great ideas and reminders for leaders at all levels, I will be buying this for the ones in our organization once it comes out.

An excellent examination of what it takes to be a good leader. I really enjoyed this book. It gave some good information on how to work as a team, how to make meetings much more meaningful, and how to connect with your employees.

A valuable resource for anyone in a leadership position who is looking for inspiration and realignment in their supervising mentality!
This audiobook was full of "aha" moments that I know would also be a great resource in print, so I will definitely be picking up the physical copy of this book to add to my collection when it is published. It is not only a great read in the moment, but a great book to refer back to for different issues or situations, or even just a general outlook reset.
Whether you are already a supervisor looking for some reinvigoration, a new supervisor wondering how best to begin your journey, or an aspiring leader who wants to make a plan - this was one of the best leadership books I have read in the last few years.
The narrator, Tim Fannon, was excellent for this book. His clear vocals and intonation throughout made this an easy book to listen to.
Thank you to NetGalley and Brilliance Publishing | Brilliance Audio for the advanced digital copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest opinions.

This book is so practical, I have preordered four copies and recommended it to at least another four people. I really appreciate the focus on taking leadership philosophy and making it practical and applied. It's filled with examples but even more importantly with strategies for how anyone can become a better leading starting with themselves, moving to their team and the culture of where they are. I have nodded along so much while finding actionable items. So practical. Love it! I listened to the audiobook and am excited to get the hardcover so I can sit down and underline the content.

CONTENT
The title of the book is apt as it is a how to guide to lead everyday. The content of the book matches what the title offers. The language is appropriate to almost all the professions. The divisions and chapters do line up accurately. A smooth and satisfactory read.
WHAT DOES THE BOOK OFFER
The book offers tips and tricks on how to lead in a normal life. Approaches and examples are relatable and a few real life examples do add value to the overall content.
Structure. The structure of the book enables a reader to be engaged from the beginning till the end. ‘LEARN GROW PRACTICE’ motto of does resonate throughout the book. Clarity and approach of the writers is good. The need for team building with examples of their own experiences do add to the overall content. The SERVE acronym (See the future, Engage, Reinvent, Value others, Engage) that is introduced in the early chapters sets the tone of the entire book.
PEOPLE WANT CERTAINTY BUT WILL SETTLE FOR CLARITY
The book explores need for narration, engagement with team. The emphasis on need for change and how to introduce it to team is worth remembering for almost all encounters. The most important topic this book covers is How to attract and keep right people… Once again the questioners are great. The age old saying It is not what you say, but how and when you say matters, was covered superbly. The points out forward by the book about need for team meetings and how should they be conducted is amazing. The book ends with one of the most important lessons ‘Build the culture.’ Which in my opinion is the appropriate way to finish a book about building leaders.
Narrator
The narrator has done a great job! The audiobook was immersive and exciting at almost all part of the book. There are some caveats, namely you will need a notebook/ note app open in background for noting all the points being discussed in the book. Especially, the ‘practice’ parts. The use of word ‘HTTPS’ to describe the website did disengage me from the immersive narration.
The audiobook is a great alternative to paperback if you commute to your work everyday and have spare time of 15 to 20 minutes during the traffic/ public transport. The quality of the content demands you to have a book with you to know the action plan so that the theories are put to practice.
Why four stars. The constant reference to official website for almost all the lists and questioners instead of a local pdf is somewhat of a let down. A complete package with additional if needed should have been directed to website.
‘Succinct and worth revisiting.’
