Glass Wings flutters between beauty and brutality, offering a gritty, gothic reimagining of Tinkerbell that’s as haunting as it is uneven. The imagery is striking, Hadley’s transformation, marked by pain and dark magic, is visceral and unforgettable, but the pacing stumbles, and some emotional beats get lost in the shadows. Still, there's a compelling darkness to the world, where chains clink louder than fairy dust, and wings are earned through suffering rather than wonder. It doesn’t always soar, but when it does, it's with a broken elegance that lingers.
