Reading more of Cindy and Biscuit’s adventures was such a wonderful time! In the first volume, we got to know them a little, but it left me with some questions... questions that were finally answered here in volume 2. Both characters are absolutely adorable, and the way they complement each other is wonderful. There is truly no better bond than that between a girl and her dog, their connection feels phenomenal.
Just like in the first one, this volume brings us a series of short stories, each one capturing a new adventure where Cindy and Biscuit face off against... robots, aliens, skeletons… and sometimes the confrontations turn into something more, which I really enjoyed.
I definitely want to keep reading more about them, so I’m very grateful to the publisher for the e-arc!

Thank you NetGalley and Oni Press for this arc
5/5 stars!
This was so good! It reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes, but for a bit older audience, full of monsters and adventures that span multiple pages. Cindy is a powerful girl, keeping her town safe from invading monsters and aliens with the help of her dog Biscuit. This was a really fun read, but had an undercurrent of melancholy. She doesn't really have friends, and seems to get picked on. One kid mentioned her dad, which we never see - where is he? I haven't read volume one of this, but i know i would love it and i plan on reading it for a bit more context. The art in this was fantastic too, just enough detail to be appealing to kids and adults alike. The aliens and monsters were unique and interesting. I loved this!

I'm not updated with any indie comics stuff much less from the UK but if this is considered a hit, then Dan White's "Cindy and Biscuit" is indeed a hit. I have no idea of what will I read (I rarely read the blurb or description). The few opening pages of this graphic novel gives me that "Calvin and Hobbes" (with monsters and aliens) vibe because it was presented as a comic strip. So I'm on my "one gag per day" mode. I never thought those were appetizers for a great graphic novel buffet! So there are long stories, one page ( "slice of life" stories) with panels and a whole page only artwork with just one speech bubble or caption. Those variations of how the stories and artworks are presented doesn't deter how good and enjoyable reading this comic is. Such versatility is indeed commendable. It's not hard for anyone to "get it" from what the author is intended to get across to the readers. I also like that the dog has it's own solo adventure. The artwork's minimalist color pallette which has two pastel colors is a stroke of brilliance. The pastel colors changes in every narratives and it really fits the comic.
Overall, this graphic novel is a must read and you'll enjoy every bit of this.

Cincy and Biscuit it's an episodic story that successfully blends the perfect dose of comedy, action, and fear. I love it.
Thanks to NetGalley and publisher for this advanced reader's copy.

this was a nice book I think it was really trippy my favorite character is the dog biscuit it reminds me of my old dog who pass away he had the same name. I also like the spookyness of the graphic novel.

An interesting second book of the series. I read the first and thought I would give this one a try. The stories are a little disjointed, but overall likeable. The main character is sort of a Calvin and Hobbes type, allowing her imagination to take her on an endless series of adventures with her dog Biscuit. Children will enjoy the funny monsters and aliens. A good read.
Thank you to #NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Cindy and Biscuit manages to be both a cute and incredibly creepy book all at the same time, with a heavy dose of sci-fi along with the humor and horror. I like the art style- it was reminiscent of Jamie Hewlett's work. I'll give other volumes of this a read as well

I was happy to see a return of Cindy and Biscuit! A girl and her dog who fight all kinds of monsters and robots. The artwork is amazing!
