I am a big fan of A Spare Key so I knew I would enjoy The Time Between Doors and Line did not disappoint. Although this is a prequel, I do recommend reading A Spare Key first. There are some things that are revealed in A Spare Key that the prequel would give away if you read it first.
If you like time travel stories, grab these novellas and enjoy!

Protecting love and protecting family come together within this book. What would we do if we could slip between times and is it worth it? This was an immersive story that was enjoyable to sink into.

The description of this book lured me in to excitement of a concept of time travel. Unfortunately, I found myself really lost while reading the book. I didn’t quite grasp the plot. I understand this is a prequel, however, the characters felt shallow and underdeveloped. Maybe I should’ve read the main story first, Spare Key, before this? Not sure.

Thank you to NetGalley for the eARC. All opinions in this review are my own.

Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in return for an honest review. I absolutely loved The Spare Key so I was excited to read this prequel. The Time Between Doors was just as good as the first book and definitely filled in a lot of background regarding Anna and how she came to be in that situation. I would have loved these books to have been much longer and more detailed as the story is so unique and interesting. An amazing story and I will definitely be recommending it.

I wish there were more books about time travel, like this one. So complicated and interesting! I loved each of the different timelines.
