Thank you to the author, Harper Collins, and to NetGalley for the ARC!
As a fall lover, I knew I would have to read this book! This romance was so much more than just a cute fall novel, it was a warm hug with a slight breeze! I loved this novel, and definitely loved Valerie’s writing style. This novel encompasses everything I love and feel small town romances should be! Set around a gorgeous apple orchard, lovers of fall, romance and wholesome stories will fall for this one!

A cozy fall romance The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn was a fun fast read that made me want to go home and experience a fall festival! This is a small town romance where the FMC has to come home after she has been fired from her job after being accused of stealing the idea from her fellow coworker/ex-boyfriend…they just broke up last night. When her mother calls her about getting help for the event that is happening at home she, Ellie, decides it is the best time to come home until she can figure things out.
Aiden is basically a neighbor. He tends/owns the orchard while her parents own the inn. And when Ellie gets own they are forced together.
I loved this story. It was the perfect cozy romance that really just would go amazingly with a cup of apple cider and a nice warm fire. It gives the perfect fall vibes and it also has some pop culture references all the girlies will love…like the Gilmore girls.
If you want to get ready for fall or you want that fall vibes right now pick up The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn!
Thank you to Avon for the complimentary copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Yes, yes, yes! This book had me in the mood for fall!
An orchard, romance between childhood friends, a festival, and fun cast of characters.
This was a delight to read!

Thank you, NetGalley, for the opportunity to read this ARC!
This was a cute, sweet, quick read! A cozy fall romance, complete with dogs, a fall festival, and a bookcase with a rolling ladder.
This book makes you wish it was fall already!!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the arc.
Spicy Gilmore Girl vibes? Say less. This book was such a delight to read and made me forget that it's actually August and not in the "Ber" months.

Overall giving this book 3.5 stars. I think this book is such a fun time, I love the fall vibes. I thought it was going to be a 4 star and then what brought it down for me was sometimes how flighty the FMC is. I was okay with the mentioning and sarcasm about dementia twice. After that it was mentioned as a joke 3 more times at least about her parents. I just thought that was overkill. Also the thing about only fans was weird. Loved the MMC - Aidan is everything, and the cute fall touches like Pumpkin the pug!

This is my first read for this author and I absolutely loved this book! Ms. Bowman did an incredible job painting a small town fall picture. I immediately could not wait for the season to start. I loved both Aiden and Ellie and I am hoping we get to see his sister Charlotte in a book sometime as well.
This book is an easy read for anyone who likes a quick witted heroine and a stoic and rugged male lead.

This, to me, was like the perfect fall version of a beach read. It was cute, it was funny, it was nostalgic, it was steamy. There wasn’t a single character I didn’t like - with the exception of the two you weren’t supposed to like.
If you have any experience with a small town in the Northeast, whether you grew up in one or visited one often, you could see that town in almost all of the descriptions. It was such wonderful nod to that tight knit, Hallmark movie like community.
I love the friends to lovers trope that played out between Ellie and Aiden but more so the fact that they grew up together and he’s loved her from the beginning. It was very sweet.
I read the book in two days and I am so excited to recommend this book at our store.!
My overall rating is a 4.3 out of 5.

Two people in a wedding party reunited in Vegas where one wants to rekindle and one wants to never see the other one again. Will stolen memories and shared spaces make love blossom one more time?
Bowman brings the reader along to witness what happens when young lovers see each other after a broken heart and many years. Will they be able to mend the heart to find love with each other again?
I loved that the book included and connected characters from her two previous books that helped add depth to her two new main stars. I wish there was more story after Vegas than there was.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review. It’s a cute and sweet story with very low angst. It has a lot of fall and small town vibes which is great for the fall. That’s all the positives but Ellie was stubborn and immature and some of her actions didn’t make sense like she was so wishy washy. But the other characters were great and hope they have their own stories.

Eleanor ‘Ellie’ Lawson is enjoying the city life and her job as an event planner until her life is turned upside down. Her boyfriend dumps her, she is fired from her job and has no place to stay.
Aiden Parker has always helped his parents run their apple orchard and has dreams of running it one day as well. His main concerned at the moment is figuring out a way to make the orchard profitable again so they don’t lose it.
When Ellie’s mom calls her for help the timing is perfect. She will be able to help with the Harvest Festival and have a place to stay until she figures out her next move. What she doesn’t plan on is sharing the attic apartment with grumpy apple farmer Aiden. Ellie has big plans for the festival but Aiden is not happy with all the plans. Will they be able to work together on the Harvest Festival and make it successful?
I really enjoyed this book!! It was a lot of fun and very entertaining!! The dialogue that Ellie had with herself throughout the book was hilarious and so much fun. Aiden was great as the grumpy apple farmer who wanted to keep things as is but find himself going long with Ellie’s plans. I thought Ellie and Aiden were great together and happy they were able to figure out that they were perfect for each other. The secondary characters were absolutely delightful and really added to the story. I highly recommend this book!!

3.5⭐️ this was very cozy and perfect for fall. it felt like the story was heavily inspired by gilmore girls and i thought that before they even made the references. i mean the town’s name is harvest hollow…. but i love gilmore girls so honestly i loved that.. i loved the quirky townspeople and the whole storyline about the festival they were planning. the only thing that was a tiny bit grating was the way the fmc spoke and her inner monologue like it just felt a little juvenile and resolution to every problem seemed to come immediately which made the read less stressful but you know sometimes you want at least a little suspense. overall, this was very cute if pretty predictable.
thank you netgalley and avon and harper voyager for this arc in exchange for honest feedback

🍎 Small town

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have to admit that what drew me in to this book was the promise of Gilmore Girls, but spicy, and it delivered. Harvest Hollow was very reminiscent of Stars Hollow without actually BEING Stars Hollow. We got to know the people and businesses in town, and of course, everyone was in each other’s business. So if you’re looking for a light, sweet, autumn in a small town, Gilmore Girls meets Hallmark-style read with some spice thrown in there, look no further, because this book is exactly that. Plus, there’s a pug named Pumpkin and he wears pajamas. How could you want anything more?
The Autumn Harvest Festival is a character in itself in this book. We are taken along in its planning and we get to see it come to fruition, experiencing every bump along the way. It’s this festival that brings together our main characters, Aiden and Ellie. But wouldn’t you know that they knew each other long before this circumstance? It’s fun to see them forced into reconnecting, fighting over what they think is right for the festival, and bringing up memories of their childhoods by being together.
The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn was a joy to read, especially in the blazing heat of summer when I’m desperate for some fall vibes. I truly enjoyed many of the little details, like Aiden and Ellie singing the Gilmore Girls theme song together. The writing, while choppy at times, was easy to read and felt conversational, which I appreciated. I also enjoyed that we were getting acquainted with Harvest Hollow at the same time as Ellie was getting reacquainted with it. It made all of the introductions feel natural, and while it did feel a bit overwhelming in sheer number, I didn’t mind it because I imagine it was overwhelming for Ellie as well.
I would have loved for there to be maps included at the front of the book. One map of the inn and orchard, as Ellie mentioned not knowing which barn was which, and one map of the town. I think it would be a super cute addition to be able to visualize where everything and everyone is. And while I loved all of the Gilmore Girls references, I did notice that Lorelai’s name was misspelled, so I hope that is rectified before publishing.
A few standouts:
* Knitted true crime chicken
* Miss Guin the goat
* Harvest Hollow Hot Sheet
* Gilmore Girls at the drive in
“It’s not easy to say no to your ideal of success. But…sometimes your definition of success changes.”
“When you find the person who’ll save you from what you’re afraid of, don’t let go.”
“This will always be your home, Ellie.”
Thank you NetGalley, Avon, and Harper Voyager for the early copy of this book! Receiving a free advanced copy of this book did not influence my opinions or the content of my review.

Adorable! I loved everything about this cozy fall romance! I grew up in a small New England town with apple orchards and it just brought me right back! It was a cute love story with an amazing fall setting!

A sweet rekindle friendship to love romance. The story is so cozy with sweet characters and lots of feelings for the holidays. A must read.

Ellie Lawson’s city life falls apart overnight, dumped and jobless, she heads home to her parents’ cozy inn in a Long Island orchard, hoping for peace and quiet. Instead, she finds Aiden, the handsome and stubborn son of the orchard’s owner, already living in her attic hideaway.
Forced into close quarters and tasked with running the high-stakes Harvest Festival, Ellie and Aiden must navigate clashing values, growing tension, and undeniable chemistry, right in the heart of small-town chaos.
This book was cute! I liked Ellie and Aiden, although I didn't find either of them to be particularily deep characters. If you're looking for an easy fall romance - this book is definitely for you.
3.5 stars

This is a Cute Romance, and this is the first book in the Honeycrisp Orchard Romance series. I found this book to be so cute and fun read. There were a few sexy times in this book, but this book was mostly a cute romance. I so enjoyed reading this book. I love the dogs in this book so much. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn was a really cute fall inspired romance with some vibes that reminded me a lot of Gilmore Girls. Things I loved about this book: the premise of the story (Ellie returning home after being fired from her job only to find one of her childhood friends in her apartment and also planning the festival). I also loved the sweet nods to Gilmore Girls and the fall vibes (I seriously need some cider and a donut).
Things I didn’t love: the timeline of the story felt off and parts of the writing style weren’t my favorite.
For me this was a 3⭐️ read - I’d recommend if you’re looking for a sweet, fall romance.

Thank you NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review. This was a cute and spicy read! It definitely got me in the mood to decorate for Fall and attend a Fall Festival! This book definitely gives Hallmark movie vibes where Ellie goes back to her hometown to help her family save their Inn. As a last ditch effort, they are throwing a Harvest Festival to earn money to save the Inn. Along the way, Ellie rediscovers the magic of the Inn and finds love with her old friend Aiden.

The Honeycrisp Orchard is a moving and contemplative ride to the heart of a family apple orchard where regrets and dreams for the future blend gently. The novel is generously supplied with sensory details. You can almost catch the scent of the crisp fall air and taste the cider. But the aspect that truly separates this novel is how it deals with grieving, forgiving, and the gentle magic of starting over again.
The hero's journey was completely believable and realistic. Her return to the orchard after a painful episode in her life was so truthfully and warmly written that I was rooting for her healing with every page. The love developed at a slow pace with just the right amount of tension and sweetness. I adored that the love interest was not a "savior" but someone who stood with her as she learned to find her own path.
I also loved the side characters, ranging from quirky townspersons to fiercely loyal family members, who were full of life without bogging down the main tale. The orchard itself approaches being a character, representing not just tradition but evolution.
My only criticism is that the pace in the middle labored a bit, but the payoff in the latter chapters was worth it.
Perfect for fans of cozy and heartfelt fiction with a strong sense of place and emotional resonance. I’m so grateful to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this early. The Honeycrisp Orchard is a story I’ll carry with me every time the leaves start to turn.
