Another fun cozy fall read! loved the characters and story telling of this book and curious to see if maria and jesse get a book or not. I do like that the book touched on some not so common topics and did a good job of bringing them to light in a mature way. Thank you for the arc!

The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn certainly evokes the charm of Hallmark and the spirit of Gilmore Girls.
🍁 Small-town setting
🍁 Grumpy and sunshine dynamic
🍁 Friends-to-lovers trope
🍁 Slow-burn romance
🍁 Forced proximity
Ellie experiences a double setback, losing both her job and her relationship on the same day. Seeking a fresh start, she returns to her family's inn in Harvest Hallow to assist with the harvest festival. The unexpected arrangement of sharing a room and collaborating on the festival with her attractive childhood friend Aiden presents a challenge, as Ellie is resolved to maintain professionalism and ensure the festival's success.
I found the unique characters in this book quite delightful, including the quirky Uber driver, the town gossip, and even the animals with distinct personalities. I also appreciated the secondary romances.
The story is told from Ellie's perspective, and there were moments when I wished for a glimpse into Aiden's thoughts.
This book offers an enjoyable and lighthearted read that perfectly captures the essence of autumn.

I want to thank Valerie and Avon and Harper Voyager for granting me early access to this cute and cozy fall read! I was kind of skeptical when I first started reading it but after a while, the storyline grew on me. I loved the Gilmore Girls and the Bridgerton references in the book. I loved the fall setting. As I was reading the book, I could smell the crispness of the autumn air and taste all the beloved donuts and the yummy cider as Ellie found her way through the hardships. The love story between Aiden and Ellie was super cute and my favorite line from this story was one of Aiden's towards the very end of the book.
"I wanted to stay there, because you're there." Like how freaking cute.
4.5/5 stars! I will totally be recommending this book to all my book friends.

4.5 enthusiastic stars!
This is the book that I WISH "The Pumpkin Spice Cafe" had been! It gives all of the fun fall feels, all of the small town vibes, all of the steamy romance, BUT with a heaping helping of humor that had me laughing out loud during practically every chapter! It felt like the most entertaining cozy and fun Hallmark movie I'd ever seen. This is officially my FAVORITE fall-themed romance!!
Ellie has been practically ejected from Manhattan, back at home in small town Long Island after being thoroughly defeated by her former life. She quickly learns that her parents' beloved B&B, and the neighboring orchard, are in trouble. Ellie's ready to roll up her sleeves and use her event planning prowess to save EVERYTHING. The problem comes in the form of the hottest and broodiest farmer that you ever did see: Aidan. He's the son of the orchard owners, Ellie's childhood bestie (and more?), and her current roommate. He's reluctant to trust her and her plans to save the day. They decide to put their heads together to see if they can come up with something they can both agree on...other than the fact that their chemistry is becoming scorching hot!
I had the BEST time with this book. I adored the cast, including the animals. I've read many small town, fall-themed books, and many feel like they're merely checking boxes and following a formula. Valerie Bowman makes this type of novel feel like a fresh and fun experience, turning small town tropes into organic additions to the plot. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect five stars was that I wasn't always the biggest fan of Ellie, which was minor. There is one other small issue for me, and I struggled with whether or not to even mention it, because I'm sure it's very hard for authors to include humor that won't offend anyone. I have a close family member with dementia, and the numerous references to dementia as a running gag was hard to swallow. But, on the whole, I ADORED the author's humor.
There are at least two more couples that I can see being featured in future books of this series. Are they here yet??? I'll wait. Now? Okay....still waiting. 🥳 Don't mind me getting in line to be first to read them!!
I'd like to thank Avon and Harper Voyager and Netgalley for the eARC of this series. All opinions expressed are my own.

I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Dont judge a book by its cover/title! I thought this eould be a very cheesy hallmark type book, but it was very enjoyable! I wasn't cringing and thinking how unrealistic. I liked it!

This was so freaking cute! Gah! This book made me so insanely happy and I was kicking my feet in my doctor’s office waiting room. I have zero shame. The Fall vibes are immaculate, the story is so cute and fun.
Ellie is a big shot marketing executive in the city who, by no fault of her own, is fired and end up at her families inn at an apple orchard. Suck it Geoff! The town is adorable! There are Gilmore Girls nights at the drive in, everyone knows everyone, and there’s a pug named Pumpkin! Oh, and he wears pajamas. Stop it!
She reconnects with a childhood friend, Aiden, who is very much no longer a child. Add one scoop of forced proximity, a dash of friends to lovers, and a sprinkle of spice, bake until hot and you have the perfect read to transition you into the Fall season.

This was such a cute well written Hallmark-esque story! I so wish I could visit the Inn and Orchard and take part in the Harvest Festival. Not only did it give Gilmore Girls vibes, it included Gilmore Girls drive-in showings so that gets an A+ in my book! I loved the cast of characters in this book. The little hints at chemistry and tension between some of them makes me so excited to read future books in this series.
I so wish we got more of Aiden & Ellie! I wanted more of their backstory instead of just vague mentions. I wanted even more of their current story! We time jumped a lot so I didn’t get the feel of their yearning for each other and everything felt a bit fast.

This was a fun, quick read.
The fall theme is always a yes, especially when it's done well, like it is here. I was a little meh on the FMC, but she definitely grew on me. I really liked that Ellie grew; she had some pretty big realizations on what's been holding her back and was able to break free from that. The romance was sweet, a little slow burn, a little will-they-won't they. Overall, I enjoyed this book a lot and hope to see more of this series!
Lots of tropes here - farmer guy/city girl (sort of), forced proximity, second chance romance, small town.
Thank you Avon and Harper Voyager for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

This was an absolute joy to read! If you’re looking for that fall seasonal romance with cozy vibes and a little spice then this one is for you! Many thanks to the publisher and netgalley for this copy for read and review

A cozy fall setting, hometown romance, and adorable pug? What more could you ask for in a romance novel! Ellie Lawson is an ambitious NYC-based event planner whose life is turned upside down by her conniving (now-ex) boyfriend. Returning home to the orchard inn run by her parents wasn't on her to-do list, but she soon finds her event planning skills put to the test as she works to launch a Harvest Festival that will hopefully boost business for her family. But it won't be easy, especially when it turns out that she'll be sharing an attic apartment with the frustratingly attractive Aiden Parker, son of the orchard owner who has plenty of his own ideas for maintaining the family business.
Valerie Bowman did a beautiful job of telling a story that was relatable, funny (so many of the pop culture references made me laugh out loud), but most of all, engaging. The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn feels like a warm and cozy fall hug, with just the right amount of tension and romance leading to an ending that was sweet and satisfying.

The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn was the embodiment of fall. It was cozy, giving Hallmark vibes, and I enjoyed every moment.
Elle lost her corporate job in the city, so when her parents asked her to come home and help with an event, she couldn't refuse. Expecting to stay at her family's attic apartment, she was surprised to find Aiden, a childhood friend, also staying there.
Aiden is a flannel-wearing MMC who "looks like he should be on the cover of Hot Farmer Weekly." Oh, and did I mention he has a bookshelf with a ladder?
I loved their relationship, which was a slow-burn full of tension, banter, and teamwork. Aiden reminded Elle how important it is to find joy in what you do.
I also fell in love with Pumpkin the pug because who wouldn't want a picture and love on Pumpkin!
This is the perfect fall romance, set at an apple orchard in a small town. It's a quick, easy read that will leave you wanting to decorate for fall! It's perfect for people who enjoy "Gilmore Girls", "Fall I Want", and "Pumpkin Spice Cafe".

3.5⭐️ this book had the best quaint autumn vibes but I think our couple needed a bit more depth for me to fully believe in their passion for each other.

I enjoyed this book a lot it gave me the fall vibes already . I was sitting down with a hot tea my blanket and I felt I was immersed into this story for me it really was a book that I could read quickly and it didn’t take me as long as I thought ! I would love to read this again with my book club in November !

This was a cute book and I think it could be a hit for lovers of smalltown or friends to lovers romances. The inn and orchard setting felt very fall and cozy. I also loved the dogs in the story. I am interested in reading possible spin offs for two of the characters that I think could have a romance of their own, Charlotte and Maria. Where this book missed for me was the inner dialogue of our female lead felt a bit immature at times. Some of the descriptions were also repetitive.

4/5 ⭐️
ARC review
This book was so cute. The childhood friends to lovers trope is always heartwarming, and I'm a sucker for an added dose of forced proximity.
Aiden and Ellie were fun to watch fall in love, and their support of each other's dreams, despite not always agreeing that was the path that they themselves may have chosen, was sweet. The story was lowstakes and very cozy. The side characters were enjoyable, and there was a subtle undertone, particularly at the end, of empowering women in the workforce, especially when they are just as, if not more, capable in the same industry as their male counterparts. Overall, a very Hallmark-esque fall read.

This was…. Not great. The description of the cozy small town with the fall decorations was nice but excessive at times. Ellie’s inner dialogue was so cringy, and very excessive. The characters randomly got basically offered millions of dollars that they turned down… huh? The writing felt like fanfic, not well done and no real depth to the characters. Yikes.

The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn is such a fun read! It’s a light cozy romance with some sexy scenes and great fall vibes. This book is low drama and low stakes, but has enough activity to keep it interesting and moving forward.
The book is perfect for anyone who enjoys hallmark movies, and I’ll definitely look forward to more books in this series.

4.5 ⭐️. Thanks to NetGalley and the author for this arc for an honest review. Sometimes seasonal books like this can be too corny but this one was just right. A perfect cute, fall book for people who like hallmark with a mix of Gilmore girls. Just what you need to get you into the fall feels. I enjoyed this so much and recommend to anyone looking for a cute cozy fall romance.

If you’re looking for the perfect fall, small town romance, this one’s for you. I’m not a big romance reader but this story was too cute and had the right amount of spice! Ellie finds herself going back home to her small town after her life in the city goes completely south. Reconnecting with her old friends and family and reconnecting with her roots new opportunities open up for her and she sees the real meaning of success. Loved the story! ✨

Cozy with a capital C. It was like a cheesy Hallmark TV movie in the best way. Only this was for autumn instead of winter. Very predictable, but sometimes these are the books you need if you are a mood reader.
