Reading this book I didn’t realise it was the second book in a series, but it is a complete standalone book.
Now to read the first one !
Thea and Nicks stories, really enjoyable characters both main and supporting.
A good storyline and a Christmassy setting.
A delightful read which I would recommend
Thank you to Netgalley, Boldwood Books, and Fay Keenan for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

Very cute Christmas novel.

I haven’t read any of the other books in the series but Fay does a wonderful job of making sure you don’t need to have read them.

Thea is such a lovely character and Nick is just delightful.

With interest rates rising Thea is forced to face the fact that she needs another way to make extra money, her teaching salary just doesn’t cover it. This is when Nick steps in with an offer of a part time job to help him out, he doesn’t realise it yet but it means so much to Thea and as they gradually get closer you learn more about the pair of them when they were teenagers.

Overall a very cute, very entertaining read with a lovely ending.

With thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the advanced reader copy of Fay Keenan’s new book

This is the second book in the series, but is a story in itself, so can also be read as a standalone tale. It's a lovely easy to read tale of Nick & Thea, will definitely get you in to the Christmas spirit

Such a sweet, cozy, heartwarming read! Set in a small town, it is super festive and filled with great characters! This is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone and will be a perfect winter read for everyone! Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for my digital ARC!!

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the author, the publisher, and Netgalley for allowing me the privilege of being able to read this book. I really appreciate it.

I had the privilege of previously being able to read the first book in this series, so I really appreciate having some previous knowledge of these characters. However you don't need to have read 'A Sky Full of Stars' (Charlotte and Tristan's story) in order to read this book. Fay Keenan does a fantastic job of making this book it's completely own thing with little nods that catch you up on important information from the previous book.

I was really excited to read Thea's story after reading so much about her in her brother Tristans story. This one however fell a lot flatter than I was expecting though. This book like the first suffers from timeline errors that don't make sense as you're following along. I have to break a little from my beliefs about spoilers because there is no other way to word this and it really frustrated me with this story. The storyline part of having Thea's ex and .etc come back into the picture, unless it's a big centre focus for the next novel was completely unnecessary. As her son asked if what happened didn't happen would he even be coming around at all. That's honestly how I feel. I don't know if it was meant as a climatic twisty moment that pales in comparison to the ones in her previous book, or lead up to a new book but it truly wasn't needed. If it was removed the rest of the book could have still flowed the exact same way. It really feels like one of those if he wanted too he would have and I personally wouldnt have felt comfortable if that happened to me. He never once truly apologized for what he did and it just feels dirty and poorly done.

Honestly if that part had been cut, and we saw more of Nick interacting with the kids that would have been incredible. The characters in this book are fantastic and fun and real. I just wish collectively more time was spent on them coming together and being together seeing them flow together then lead up to that part at the very end. It would have felt more relatable or real and magical, as apposed to what is two characters that have known each other for over 30 years pretty well just seeming to insta fall (and not in the fun way) and say hey well we've barely talked in years let's just do this. I wanted the magic and fun of them creating a life together not just let's do this.

I know that doesn't sound very great this was a good book, it had a very Christmassy feel that I really loved, but it was the love that's lacking for me that really takes away from it for me.

Thank you very much again from the bottom of my heart for allowing me the privilege of being able to read this book. I really appreciate it.

Nick Saint, the quiet farm shop manager in Lower Brambleton, has secretly loved Thea for years. Stuck in the friend zone, he’s given up on her ever seeing him differently. But when Thea helps out at the shop during Christmas, she’s unexpectedly swept up in a crush she didn’t expect. As they prepare for the Christmas market, Nick’s thoughtful gestures begin to melt her heart. Could the one thing she really needs for Christmas be Nick?

I thought this was a cute read! I enjoyed the friendship and growing relationship between Nick and Thea! I loved the supporting characters and their strong love and loyalty to Thea while also telling her when she may be missing something right in front of her! I loved the Christmas setting. Overall just very cute.

4/5 stars!

Thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood Books, and Fay Keenan for an eARC in exchange for my honest opinions!

Nick and Thea are a great match! This is a very sweet storyline and will get you in the holiday spirit.
While it's second in a series, it can be read as a stand-alone.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for access to this eARC.

Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood books for the chance to read this book I enjoyed it . It is the second in the series but could be read as a stand alone .It is a good easy Christmas read to get you in the spirit . Following on from the previous book, but can be read as a standalone although I’d recommend reading it, we find out more about Thea and her two children, Cora and Dylan. It’s coming up to Christmas and single mum and part time teacher Thea is struggling to make ends meet. She reconnects with Nick who she’s known forever and when he offers her some work at his family farm shop she accepts. As they start to work together they both realise that maybe there’s more to their friendship and that they actually quite like each other……….. This is so easy to get lost in and with fairly short chapters I found myself saying ‘Just one more chapter!’ Heartwarming with a bit of drama, an engaging storyline, individual and believable characters, this is a delightful read. Thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the ARC

Loved this Christmas romance. Nick and Thea are great together and finally come full circle. Charming and so Christmasy you have to read this.

A sweet, cosy Christmas read without much drama. It’s a romance book which follows Thea and her feelings about childhood friend Nick and is very easy to fall into and forget about the world. It’s a perfect small village, English countryside romance without much jeopardy and no need for trigger warnings. A heads up that this is the second in the series but it works perfectly well as a standalone book, but I did enjoy the first one more.

Oh I couldn't put this down. Thank goodness I haven't been sleeping so I could read this book it's so amazing and like real life that I kinda wish the characters where my family just so I get to see the happiness in real life... I'm a sucker for a love story and one that has twists and turns like this one does is the best as long as there's a happy ending which in this one there is which I'm so happy about. Can't wait to buy this book.

A lovely second story in this series, that reads fine on its own. We follow Thea and Nick, childhood friends who find their way to each other. It's a sweet story with some twists and turns related to Thea, her kids and her ex, making a cozy Christmas romance.

This book was a really sweet and cosy read that made me feel warm inside. Even if I didn’t read the other books in the series, I still enjoyed the story a lot. The setting in the small village of Roseford felt very charming and inviting, like a place you want to visit. The characters were lovely and easy to care about, and the story mixed second chances and a little bit of mystery in a nice way. It was a perfect book to read with a cup of hot chocolate during the holidays. Overall, I gave it 4 stars and I’m curious to read more from this author soon. Thank you so much to the author and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving a honest review

🎄 This was my first read by Fay Keenan & I really enjoyed the whole vibe of the story. The characters we relatable & easy to get to know & like & the story flowed well.

💞 I liked Thea, she was independent & kind & I liked that she did what she had to do for her family! She's also a twin! 🥰

🎄 I really loved Nick because he was such a sweetheart. I am a sucker for a guy who knows who he wants & treats her well. He was kind, lovely & also flirty when he wanted to be!

💞 The whole concept of Thea and Nick's relationship was fun to read. I loved that they had history & had always been in each other's lives but they'd grown & lived different lives that lead them back to each other!

🎄 If you're looking for a romantic, festive, easy going read then I'd recommend 'Could it be magic!'

I had a great time reading this, it had that feel that I was looking for and enjoyed the overall feel of this world and characters. I thought the characters were so well written and enjoyed the romance going on with the characters. I thought it had a strong writing style and thought it was a strong entry in this series. Fay Keenan has a great writing style and was glad I read this.

Firstly thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for the chance to read this book.

I hadn't realised this book was part of a series, it was a lovely Christmas read where two childhood best friends reconnect, but will things go smoothly? I really enjoyed the different characters that were introduced into the book and it read as a seasonal romance that can stand alone without having to read the other books in the series. I am now however looking forward to the next book and will find the previous one.

Cute and festive romance. This is my favourite romance troupe of all time which is friends to lovers. Thea and Nick have known each other nearly all their lives and have a steady friendship but you can feel more love brewing under the surface. I enjoyed everything about this the plot, the characters and the small town setting. Thea has quite a bit of baggage which seems to be dragging her down but Nick doesn't mind he just wants to be with her. With exes, money issues and more there is a good bit of paper to be unraveled in this glorious book. I read the full book with a huge smile on my face. It's nothing but hard work and sunshine all the way with Could it be Magic?
