Juno is one of the best to write for Harlequin Intrigue. THis one was so good. I love reading about Black folks in rural settings

This was a great book. I loved every paragraph, every sentence and every word of this masterpiece! I read it in 12 hours, which is a lot for me to do! It had everything and more laid out in the novel! I sure hope There is more to come from this author! I am totally hooked!

This was an absolutely amazing story. So many twists and turns. Love the suspense in this story. I have to say this is one of the best books I've read this year.

Nora managed to escape a serial killer ten years ago but he's back to finish the job. Now under the protection of a private security firm (specifically Bo) Nora hopes he'll be stopped for good. Filled with breath taking attempts on her life Nora and Bo and the rest of the team will do whatever it takes to survive and take down the killer. Fans of the Harlequin Intrigue line will find a quick and thrilling story. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read an ARC.

Big Sky Safe House
Juno Rushdan
A woman with a tragic past encounters a killer so relentless they’ll cut a deadly path to get their revenge.
_____
Nora survived attacks that killed her teen friends, and her college roommate before sending her into hiding for years.
Bo is a protection agent for a private security firm determined to not let his attraction to Nora get in the way of stopping the threat to her life.
Nora and Bo had met before, when an incident forced her back into the public eye. She develops a deep attraction to Bo and also trusts him very quickly over anyone else. Their chemistry doesn’t so much build here as just exist from page one as a type of instalove vibe. Nora purses Bo in spite of his valid concerns that becoming emotionally involved may be dangerous to the gig. They connect through their painful pasts and hopes for a different future not marked by loneliness and isolation.
The killer in this one is vicious but also very difficult to spot given the clues left. It does have a sensible wrap up and a HFN likely leading to a HEA later if things continue to progress as the epilogue indicates.
