Abducted in the Woods by Kerry Johnson is the first book I’ve read by her. I was captured by the themes of God’s forgiveness and grace to anyone who is truly repentant of the mistakes or sins in their life. She wrote these truths in such a moving way through this suspenseful, action-packed story. I look forward to more stories from Kerry!!

When Sarah Brindley’s young son is kidnapped, she’s forced to partner with her brother-in-law, forest ranger Tucker Brindley, to uncover the truth behind her husband’s murder. Their search exposes ties to a dangerous underground medical black-market ring, putting them in a race against time to rescue Liam before the criminals silence them for good. This book had me hooked from the first page with its fast-paced action. Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC.

"Abducted in the Woods" is a Christian romantic suspense. Sarah married Tanner even though she liked his fraternal twin, Tucker, better. It seemed like Tucker wasn't interested in her, but now she finds that Tanner told Tucker that she wasn't comfortable around him and to stay away from her. Not to mention, her husband was just murdered because he was involved in something illegal, and the killers think she can help them get something they want.
Sarah liked how Tucker was supportive of her and built her up. Tucker was impressed by Sarah character and beauty. They worked well together as they tried to survive while tracking down her son's location and uncovering what got her husband killed. The main characters were engaging and reacted realistically to events. I cared about what happened to them. The suspense came mainly from the potential danger to Sarah (and her worry for her kidnapped son). The main characters prayed for help. Sarah struggled with viewing God as reliable due to her family relationships. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this enjoyable story.

I absolutely loved this book! Kerry Johnson does an amazing job wirh the characters, a quick moving plot wirh many twists and turns. She has strong characters, while giving readers a picture od faith and trust in God! Fans of christian fiction, romantic suspense, and clean romance will love this book. You will be drawn into Sarah and Tucker's lives, and feel some of the pain and hurt they have experienced while also being reminded of God's goodness, forgiveness, redemption, and restoration! Amazing book wirh a well thought out plot and characters.

Talk about a heart-pounding read! Abducted in the Woods hooked me from page one and didn’t let go until the very end. Kerry Johnson delivers a suspenseful, emotional, and high-stakes story that had me holding my breath more than once.
Sarah Brindley thought she and her young son, Liam, were finally safe after the murder of her husband—but danger comes crashing back into their lives when Liam is abducted. With no one else to turn to, Sarah teams up with her brother-in-law, forest ranger Tucker Brindley, to uncover the truth. As they dig deeper, they discover her late husband’s connection to an underground medical black-market ring, revealing that the threat is far more dangerous—and closer—than they ever imagined. Now, every second counts in the race to save Liam before it’s too late.
Why I Loved It:
• Nonstop Action: From the opening attack to the nail-biting finale, the danger never lets up.
• Family and Faith: At its heart, this is a story about love, trust, and the unbreakable bond of family.
• Gripping Suspense: Twists, turns, and constant tension make this an unputdownable read for romantic suspense fans.
If you love a fast-paced, emotionally intense suspense novel with faith and heart woven throughout, Abducted in the Woods is a must-read. It’s the kind of story that keeps you reading late into the night!
