I love Kate Clayborn's writing, but this book didn't entirely work for me. I thought it was about 100 pages too long (it's 464 pages, not 320 as indicated by NetGalley), with little plot to fill the pages and not enough conflict or stakes to keep me interested.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC, which was provided in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 stars. Kate Clayborn has written many emotional books with characters who’ve been through hard things, but this might be the most emotional. Layla agrees to attend her ex-sister-in-law’s destination wedding in Paris, even though the city held special meaning in her marriage. And her ex will be there. With his new girlfriend. And their entire family. She’s prepared, with a whole suitcase of boring blending-in outfits and plans to stay out of the way.
What she hasn’t planned on, though, is best man Griffin, brooding and scarred and giving off serious Beauty and the Beast vibes. He seems extremely committed to making sure this wedding happens, and even more inclined to blame Layla when there’s trouble between the happy couple. He’s also…hot. Not that Layla has noticed.
Not everything in this book worked for me. I was very frustrated by Layla’s willingness to take on responsibility for every problem. Everyone needed to talk to each other more. But Clayborn gets where she needs to go, and everything eventually makes sense.
Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review. All opinions are my own.

After experiencing a rare miss with Kate Clayborn's last book, The Paris Match felt more in line with her previous titles. Loved the Parisian setting and details. Characters were interesting and the plot was as well. The connection between the MC and love interest was a bit "insta love" but it was an enjoyable, entertaining read.

Kate Clayborn does it again. She is such a sensitive, beautiful writer, and does such a great job with both characters voices. I always find it so refreshing her books are told from both perspectives. So engrossing and already can’t wait for her next one!

Kate Clayborn is an auto-read for me and she gets better with ever book she writes. While telling the story of Layla and Griffin, she deftly weaves the back stories of them and their supporting characters. And Paris is another character in the book - so elegantly described that should I ever visit (and I would very much like to), I will be sure to re-read the book so I can walk through the places Layla and Griffin visited.
