As always when it comes to this author, this book gave me a lot to think about. Filled with anecdotes about the churches that he has come across in his career, Rainer does an excellent job outlining the crucial commitments that church members need to make in order for the church to thrive. Some of them are definitely harder to do than others but they are all important. I like that this book was short and easily digestible since there is a lot to unpack. It’s a quick read but also definitely one that will make you think. I always look forward to this author’s new church book each year.
