This was definitely a weird book—and I don’t mean that in a bad way. The plot was quirky and unpredictable, the characters were eccentric, and at times I wasn’t sure where the story was going. Some moments felt confusing or over the top, but that strangeness was also part of its charm.
If you like books that are experimental, offbeat, or that push you out of your comfort zone, you might enjoy this one. Personally, it wasn’t entirely my style, but it kept me intrigued because it was so different from anything else I’ve read.

Oh Ellie! On the surface, this is light-hearted, but oh the heartstrings were tugged hard. As a thirty-something woman who struggles with chronic pain and illness and her sense of love-ability, i related so much to this story. It perfectly combined lightness and sexiness into a story of bravery and fear and love. I’m grateful for the ending; so often, books wrap up in a way that is unrelatable to those of us whose lives don’t look how we imagined, and I so appreciate getting to see both- a diagnosis and a happy middle (I won’t say ending because I love imagining their ever after). This book strikes the perfect balance.

I love this little rom-com. You will love this little rom-com. Everyone ought to read this little rom-com. ( ok I'm done being silly now.)
