I didn’t like this book. I found it incredibly confusing and not well laid out. The premise didn’t really make any sense and some fundamental pieces of the story were never revealed or explained. I did not understand till far in the book who half the players were and what their role was. Interesting concept in a way but the execution was poor. Great cover but the story was lackluster.

Promising ideas and atmosphere but ultimately disconnected. A concept that might have felt vivid on paper just didn’t land emotionally or stylistically.

Unfortunately, I just don't think this was for me. I had a really hard time with the writing style. The conversations between characters felt stilted and unrealistic. It was difficult to stay engaged. The characters didn't feel well developed. The story just felt a little weird overall.
